Hi Guys so after numerous videos from our week on the MSC Virtuosa which if you have watched 1 or all of them (wow) thank you so much 😁. Its now time to look back and review everything and try our best to feed back hints and tips that could help you if you are to sail on her in the future.
This review is our own opinions of our week onboard but if you had a different experience we would love to hear off you in the comments and also if you have the same opinions as us about the ship. We can respectively agree / disagree right? 😁.

Loved all the videos, we’ve not been on a cruise yet but have one booked on the Arvia in the Caribbean Jan 23. 20 weeks and I’m definitely counting lol

Thanks for the video's. We really enjoyed them and found them useful before we went on board last week and got off today. We had a fantastic time. Yes it was busy, but we expected that booking a cruise with that sort of capacity in a school holiday. Would definitely go on again.

@@OneCouplesAdventure it's hard with kids as you need to find deals that the kids are on offer otherwise it's so expensive for us. We may consider MSC Grandiosa next year or maybe a P &O if not. Are you guys going to keep the cruise bug going? We loved the clown theme park in the 3d cinema on Virtuosa that you spoke about.

I'm currently typing this from the Virtuosa! Your experience is nothing like ours as this cruise is full with the maximum 6000 guests. It's chaotic. The buffet restaurant is absolutely crazy around 9-3pm and can take 15 mins to get a meal. In other areas like the bars, they seem seriously understaffed and can be waiting up to half an hour for a drink. Other than that, it's a lovely ship and I agree with pretty much everything you have said, great videos guys!
We did say when we were On both the Virtuosa and the Iona that we wouldn't like to be on them when at full capacity. Hope you've still managed to have a great time though. Sounds like a nightmare in the buffet!

@@leeradford7663 buffet on first evening was chaotic and not a good experience . Went for dinner in dining room after that. BF in mornings was crazy too. Service was at times slow but i think they upped their game towards end of week. I had good time and def doing Vertuosa again. The play water park was great for our 5 year old
@@iaindw1 agree, definitely got better towards the end, my 11 and 6 yo both loved the water park and high ropes too. Also I think we were really lucky with the weather. if it had rained on a sea day, I think the kids area would have been unmanageable!

If you are stopping at Nordfjordeid on your cruise, be careful with the queue getting back on, we waited nearly 2 hours as the pontoon has limited weight capacity

There is ultimately only so much you can do with a basic balcony room like that, a lot of them are the same. Obviously then there are suites and rear facing rooms etc. Also, the balcony seems like a fairly normal size. Anyway, glad you enjoyed it :) You definitely have the bug now

Hello! I am new to your utube channel and really enjoyed you vloggs on MSC Virtuosa! I will be doing a cruise on Virtuosa on 16 Dec to 23 Dec 2022 out of Southhampton. The ship will go to Hamburg, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam and La Havre. This will be my first cruise. I will be solo on this cruise as my wife and I have a cruise booked on Enchanted Princess out of Rome Nov 2023 and I want to get a few short cruise under my belt before then. @@OneCouplesAdventure The cruise I will be going on 1 Nov 2023 with my wife will be starting in Rome, 1 Nov 2023. Then on to Santorini, Athens, Kusadasi, Mykonos, Katakolon (olympia), Corsica, Tulon and ending in Barcelona. Eleven day Cruise. My bucket list cruise! Kind of forced my wife to go but she is from Thailand and never seen Europe.
Sounds like you guys have caught the cruising bug. Nicely done videos. Btw, the ‘Entertainment Manager’ as you put it, is more normally known as the Cruise Director. Lots of other cruise lines to try out. They ALL vary to some extent. Don’t forget to sign up for each cruise lines loyalty programmes too, if you think you’ll continue cruising. 👍🏼
PS - Almost forgot. I’m on the Virtuosa next month - for a Christmas Markets cruise. I also live in Southampton. Less than a mile from the cruise terminal. I could walk to the ship. Lol. 😉

Kev and Stacey, absolutely thoroughly enjoyed your whole virtuoso series. I have watched yours and also ones done by Fraser, the solo traveller, and I have learned so much, and thrown caution to the wind, after being put off by so much MSC negativity. You two have convinced me to give it a go, and im so excited. Like you, got a fantastic price for 6 nights in November this year, and seriously cannot wait.
I have a couple of questions if you dont mind?
I have added a card to my account via the app, do I still need to do any activation stuff at the machines once onboard do you know, or am I just good to go, as Ive linked a card via the app at home?
Secondly, regarding the specialty restaurants - if you book one of the packages, before boarding, you then book the dates and times as soon as you board..right? as just because you have bought the package, that doesnt get you a table? Following this, do you get to choose from the whole menu in each specialty restaurant with a package, or is it a set/select menu from the main one?

Not 100% about the credit card. Just ask when you board.
The specialty packages you book before you board, as soon as you go on there will be lots of staff who are trying to sell the restaurants so just go to one of those and tell them you have a package and they will book your dates and times.
You will have a great time. The staff are so helpful.
Any other questions just ask and we will try and answer them

When was the lip sync being out? I don't have a seperate video and audio file so the audio should be perfect. Are you listening with wireless headphones? Sometimes they have audio lag
@@OneCouplesAdventure About 15m in for around 1m, other small sections as well. No Headphones but also not wearing my glasses ... sat on them this pm, 16st against a pair of specs, only one outcome. So it may be my dodgy eyesight, but does appear to be obout 0.1 secs out. Check that 1m & see what you think.
Also at 19.09. Maybe it is me 😄but seems to occur after a split.
We can't see it lol maybe we need glasses 😁

We took about 8 cans on with us when we embarked. And then each day we got off we brought a few more. Buy coke not pepsi thats what they give you 😁

It was in our small case that we dropped off with the luggage. Maybe they don't mind as much with pop. If it was 8 bottles of vodka it might of been a different story 🤣

There not selling rooms because of bad reviews. I got 2 weeks for £785. But I paid extra for balcony now.
Just watched all your vids about virtuosa. Thanks for the info. Were going on it in Feb. Can you tell me in the bars someone said you get less than a pint. Considering the price of £8. Seems a bit dear. Can you confirm either way? P.S. we went on iona as well, that's how long I've been watching your vids! Wish I had your job! Cheers
Thanks for watching. Not sure about the alcoholic drinks as we don't drink. I can tell you a can of coke is £3 and a none alcoholic cocktail is £7 😅
Just had a quick google and found a menu. Says 33cl stella is £8. Guessing its to get more people to buy a drinks package

@onecouplesadventure I know cash is King, but would you recommend bringing euro or can I just use a credit card when stopping and shopping at the different destinations? I'll be cruising on the Virtuosa too 😄
I would recommend a mix. Most places take card but its those small bakerys or small shops that don't accept them. When are you going?

We appreciate the feedback though as although we check before a video goes out there are going to be times when we don't pick something up that could of well been our mistake , and yes we already have plans for this year ( a new video coming out soon on that) but we would love to do a Caribbean one at some point as they look amazing
