- Food Food and More Food, that's what this video is about! Just think about it you're on this big floating thing in the sea sometimes for a few days at a time with no stops in a port ... So you've gotta be able to eat right?
So on the Virtuosa you have the choice of a sit down meal or the Buffet, and that applies for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
So in this video we show you the choices in the restaurant v the Buffet and review the food.
There is of course the specialty restaurants that you can pay extra for (we did 2 of them, 1 video is out already so check it out 😜) But all the food in this vlog is free/Included in the overall cost.

VERY interesting and clever way to show and compare the restaurants and food on board. Never seen any vloggers do it like this before and in such detail, so my congratulations. This is especially useful as traditionally MSC got a bit of a reputation for not great food, however, I think you have shown that is clearly not the case. Right now we watching from northern Canada. 10:18 PM and still light outside. Anyway, it's a small town with just one restaurant. Limited menu and hours. Your teasing me with your video! excelent video, we are booked for a 4 night cruise in October. Have seen some pretty damming reviews, so feel a lot easier now especialy as we have choosen to upgrade to Aurea class.

Thank you for this! Seriously considering taking an MSC cruise, but have been a little nervous based on some reviews I've seen about food. All of that looks bang-on, though!
For the price you pay for these MSC cruises compared to others, if you dont like the food, then do some of the speciality restaurants that we love, and it still works out cheaper than the rest
Went to Norway on Virtuosa on our first cruise last week. The food was outstanding in Minuetto and Market Place (where we had the best roast beef we had ever tasted!) Pizza’s were fantastic! We had the 4 speciality restaurant deal and whilst that was also great, the included food was so good I don’t think I would bother next time.

@@OneCouplesAdventure we were just blown away by it; we had never been on a cruise before so had nothing to compare it to but it was one of the best holidays we have ever had. The staff were amazing too! We had a balcony which we spent a lot of time on relaxing - we had blue skies all week, we were so lucky with the weather! The ship was spotlessly clean which, if you watch the Amazon documentary about the MSC Seaside, is not surprising! So, can’t wait to do another cruise!

I was on the inaugural cruise with my teenage daughter which was fab as there were only 25% full. The french toast in the restaurant for breakfast is super good.

Great insight. Am off tomorrow on the MSC Virtuoso for 13 days. We are all vegetarian so good to see they do a good options. We did royal Caribbean pre covid and am sure they had less options. There was only 2400 on our cruise so it was well less than half. We went at the end of june. If you do the teppanyaki say hello to adam he really made that meal, he was so much fun

Love how informative your videos are guys, me and my partner are due to go on the Iona in September and are looking to book more cruises, would you say you preferred the MSC virtuosos over the Iona? And did you have to tip on the MSC??
Hi Sam thanks so much 😁 we loved both ships and you will have a great time on the Iona, but for us personally the MSC one suited us abit better as there was more of the things that we enjoy doing on there 😀

Thanks so much and no pressure to tip but we always gave the cabin steward and our waiter in the MDR a tip at the end of the cruise

I will bring a vacuum bottle with me and fill it up with coffee. So I can have coffee to drink when I am out on excursions.

I have never done a cruise but looking into booking and your videos just make me wanna book them all. did you have a drinks package? in the video you said the drinks are all day, so in the buffet I see they do juices and waters but if the buffet is closed do you get them in the bars? Hi thanks James and no the only juice available with no extra charge is in the buffet, the juice machine was available all the time even if no food at that time. This was the case when we were on anything. Whether its changed since
Wiguna served u here and he was my waiter for my main meal lol . We tipped him he was fantastic at topping up my wine lol😂

Hi we don't personally drink alcohol ourselves so for us it wasn't worth it. We did also manage to take some cans of pop on with us to drink throughout the day then we brought a drink with dinner and had the odd milkshake etc. If you like a few cocktails or spirits each evening etc then it could well be worth getting the package as it could soon add up priced separately, hope this helps
ACE is a vitamin drink as its got vitamin a c and e orange carrot and lemon
We don’t drink wine and Beer at all. Just soft drinks, tee, coffee and water, should we buy extras drinking options? And how many restaurants free of charge? Can you let me know? 🙏
Great vlog. We've only done 1 MSC cruise but put off a bit by people disembarking & embarking at every port (as in new passengers). So at each port there were a lot of announcements. Did this happen on your cruise?
No we didn't have anyone getting on at the ports

Seeing as on the boat is “full board” ie breakfast lunch dinner, if you go on a trip off the boat do they provide packed lunches?

Also could you tell me is it an all inclusive cruise or does the water and hot drinks package only include full board - breakfast, lunch and dinner with juices and water only .. or do you get food from snack bars near the pools etc part of the package ? Hi for no extra charge juice is available at breakfast in the main dining room and then all day in the Buffet . This was the case when we were on. Also yes the snack bar by the pool is all included

Yes they had some food by the pool. It was pizza, burgers, hotdogs and bits like that

1. My son wont eat breakfast unless he has hot milk on it, can we get some hot milk ?
2. Where do you get toast from ? cant see any toast machines are any area that seems to just give you toast (need it to dip in my tea)

Hi Carl yeah there was a couple of toasters dotted about so you can have your toast 😁 and as for hot milk there was a bar in the buffet which we didn't use and they served you drinks so most likely get hot milk from there, if not there were loads of waiters about and they were dead helpful and friendly so just ask them and I'm sure they'll go get some for you. Hope you have a brill time the ship is amazing

Depends on the Intinerary as well but the Iona was nice for a week but if we were looking at doing a longer cruise or transatlantic then the Virtuosa as it had lot more things to do on there to keep us busy

Hi they are plastic for the free juices on offer but there was a bar in there and if you order from there we think it was proper glasses

You can have as much as you want in the main dining rooms. We have even asked for a side of chips which aren't on the menu. We have had no starters and 3 mains instead aswell lol

@@OneCouplesAdventure yes, we did afternoon tea on CCL lines on sea days. it was quite nice with scones, butter and marmalade and other sweets with a choice of tea. we are Lipton hot tea drinkers here in Texas, but they had Earl Grey etc if you wanted it. Divina will be our 29 th cruise. 14 hour drive to the port canaveral. Only 4 hours to Galveston. They also did a seaday brunch instead of breakfast and lunch in MDR.
Great review however, you didn't include what if any drinks are included with the lunch, dinner. Apart from pointing out water, tea and coffee stations.
That is whats included. You don't get any other drinks unless you have a drinks package or pay for them individually so there's nothing to point out
I wish I can eat pizza and Mozzarella cheese. They are very fattening.
