I’ve been watching your videos for a while now. I Got certified as an ST in 2020 but then I let my license expire for 2 years and had to sit for the exam again 😵💫. Man I forgot almost EVERYTHING. Your videos HELPED to refresh my memory and served well as a crash course! You taught me things that even my instructors back then didnt teach me. I passed my recertification exam today thanks to your very good teaching! Im soo glad i found this channel. Alot of the ST videos are boring or annoying but yours arent! Thanks Mark! I've been an ST for Retina/ophthalmology for over a decade. No experience in general or hospital setting. How long do you suggest I study for in order to pass my test? I was thinking 1.5 months. BTW your videos are so helpful!🙏 Thx!

I have a quick question if anyone can help I got charge with a simple assault charge in 2014 would that prevent me from obtaining a surgical tech license?
If you email the nbstsa that's on their website, they will respond back with you can move forward or not. I had a question about the process since I did mine in the military and they responded back with a step by step on how to proceed my application
There's no requirement that you be a US citizen (that I'm aware of). But you must complete an accredited 2-year Surgical Technology program, which are only offered in the United States. There are other certifications (TS-C, for example) that do not have this requirement.
Which play store cst app is the best to help with the nbstsa ? I got my cst certificate while in the air force and now after 14 years I'm retaking it so I can be back in the field. My set back is I have only done clinical ortho and podiatry so all the other fields I am rusty in. Hopefully you or someone who passed can let me know please?

Why is the question for cbc blood counts even consderd for the exam. We have no.part in considering if a surgery is a go or no go.

It might vary from different areas. I’m in Oregon and we can’t have anything on our record.
