+Harry Houdini Cheers, Harry! This kit has been providing lots of fun indeed. Like the good Dr. says: "If you can dream it, you can build it!" It's mostly a matter of time and patience from there.
+Lazy Eyed Modeler Haha! If there was a translation for Hillbilly in German it would be "Hinterwäldler" (lit.: Someone, who lives in the most distant of the woods). That would have been a great name for the project, too. ... but I guess I'll stick with my working title for now! ;) Cheers!
+Colonel Reb's Scale Models It's incredible how many hours go into that project to make all the changes and alterations less conspicuous, if you know what I mean. It's great fun, but I am glad most of the big stuff is done and I can go on detailing. Chassis, body, and base are to be finished. I hope I'll be finished by the end of next month. Hope you are doing well! Cheers!
+Red Dragon ModelWerks Thank you, Gilbert! This project's been ton's of fun, but I hope to put a lid on it soon. 4 Months into the project now- at least one more to go. Cheers!
+Paul Turley Thanks for noticing that. Despite all the tech-tricks in the tool box it took more than 4 hours shooting and editing this video. Thanks for stopping by, Paul!
+Armour Empire Cheers brother! It's always like that: If you want to find them, you won't. ... be patient, they'll turn up on ebay frequently, however the Heller Citroen C15 is a very similarly shaped car that certainly allows this kind of treatment. The C15 is rather easy to find. Thanks for stopping by and Good luck!
+Armour Empire Ahhhhhh! OK I get your point! :) I am willing to belive that even these will be modelled in plastic with the decade. Subject choices for the makers are getting slim these days. Time is on our side! ;)
Guido, despite you are in Germany and I am in USA,we seem so alike. Most miss that fact human is human ;no,matter upbringing.Love youe model,as always an exquiset craftsman. You could have added Traction bars to your frame and may have added interest and made the whole frame easier, alas too late for that,HaHa1.Don't worry too much about perfect smooth;older "sheet" was NOT very straight and cost alot of money and time to achieve straight.I prefer the waves, like a good lookin' woman,a few curves never hurt.Have great build and good day to you and your family. Bear
+Bret Crane Thank you very much Bret! Indeed I strive for perfection, but that doesn't mean I will end up perfect. As usual, I am scared about the gloss paint on the boday... We'll see, how that'll turn out... Plenty of room to screw up. ;) Thanks for stopping by by and commenting! Cheers! PS.: Trackion bars are added by now. :)
+Sgt Bones Thank you very much for stopping by. There's a third pedal, indeed. It's behind the two suspended pedals, set in the corner between drive shaft tunnel and firewall. I am not very knowledgeable about real-life car functions, but seems that in most European cars the clutch and break have levers going up toward the dash, while the gas pedal seems to be resting on the floorboard. In any case, as in most finished models, you won't even see it when the project is fully assembeled. I'll make sure to give a few more pictures to show the pedals in a future edition. Cheers!
+Guido „Tailor“ Hopp Ahhhhhhh, ok, wondered about that, sorry, I think in the video because it's black on black it makes it hard to see, and yeah, guess it will be hard to see in the finished build. I have been working on my car recently and it happens to have linkage going up (Fiat Grande Punto) but that is irrelevant! Can't wait to see the finished model, so far your detail work is amazing!
Your attention to detail is always impressive.. you seem to get so much fun out of each build. I look forward to the next update

That is looking good, great to see a Stuttgart Sprinter.
+ChancerNW Thanks for stopping by and your kind comment! :)
Wow! That is going to be one cool German Hillbilly HotRod. Really great work into this build so far.
+Lazy Eyed Modeler Haha! If there was a translation for Hillbilly in German it would be "Hinterwäldler" (lit.: Someone, who lives in the most distant of the woods). That would have been a great name for the project, too. ... but I guess I'll stick with my working title for now! ;) Cheers!

+Guido “Tailor” Hopp thanks I was referring to the rareness of the nostromo kit by halcyon, reference your t shirt.

Great build as usual, also, nice shirt, where did you get it?
+Scopedog Thanks, dog! Found it on ebay. Cheers!
Beautiful work, but one question...is it an automatic with floor shifter? Because I only saw 2 pedals, gas and brake ;)

+Sgt Bones Indeed the black on black stuff doesn't really pop. Some drybrushing maybe... Cheers!
