Another easy radish ‘recipe’ is to use it as a garnish for tacos by slicing them, adding lots of fresh lime juice, some salt, and let it sit. Soooo good!
We grow our own radishes here in North Carolina every spring and fall. One of the easiest veggies to grow! Delicious! Had some red and golden radishes in my salad for lunch today made with our home-grown lettuce👍👍
I'm growing the French Breakfast radishes for the first time this year. We've already gotten one round harvested and waiting on the next ones to mature.

They were so easy to grow! Just put out some seeds at the end of May, harvest at the end of March. Never watered them or anything. Willamette valley Oregon.

I also slice scallions green (onions) same way, but as I grow older I've started to belch them. Only way I can rat one raw is cooked or cut into a salad.

Add some almond or cashew milk. I have them just about every morning. Not always thanks asparagus but always the radish and cauliflower. Oh so good. Will try your versions! Thanks so much. I just started working with radishes this past week and I have loved it. I haven't cooked them yet (the bulbs) but I would to try some heirloom varieties that I see at the farmer's market as well. Definitely going to incorporate radishes more. Thank you Dani!
This was a great video!!! I will often cut a purple topped turnip in a large dice and use that in a chicken veggie soup, pretending it is a white potato. I also will combine equal parts of cut up celeriac and Yukon gold potatoes in some water and cook until done. Puree them with some of the cooking liquid and season with s+p. I think it tastes like artichoke hearts!
