Sorry, could not hear you speaking. I got eight of the new mags and not one issue with the SP9A1 Gen 2. But I never had any issues with the first mags that came out or the metal lipped ones either. However...I had mass failure to eject rounds all the time, hence why I tried the metal lipped ones. Turns out my problem was the stock bolt spring, it is too heavy. An admin in a Facebook Stribog Magazine Issues group said to email Global Ordnance and request the free lighter bolt group spring, and I had it in two weeks. My Stribog then was unstoppable, not one issue. If you have this issue too, get the lighter bolt group spring.
Thank you for the information. I just bought my SP9A1 Gen 2, 3 days ago. Need to get the brace for it, and some more magazines. Been shopping around and looking into all the aftermarket parts that are available for this gun. I bought it because I got it for $700 at my work/local gun shop. Couldn't resist. Especially because I kind of like it since I first held it. Then I did reviews and I'm glad I got the Gen 2 instead of the A3, roller delayed. If I had the funds to buy an SP5 or a CZ Scorpion, I totally would, but for my budget (stupids bills, I have adulting) this was perfect for me. Still looking into things before I buy away and end up with useless parts I don't use... Anything you recommend for aftermarket parts that you like on your Gen 2? Please and thank you for the information.
I'm not sure what spring I have in mine, Would have to check the serial number for when it was made. got it around march 2021 So it might be "New" enough, IDK. Thanks for the heads up!
Metal feed lips shouldn’t be needed with the improved polymer being used in the curved version. Less brittle and supposedly more like what is used by magpul.
I hope a different material makes the difference but there is no doubt that the first gen mags were brittle. Too many people having issues to ignore. The next few months will tell us how good these new mags are.
To be honest, the curved mags feel very similar to the first gen stick mags with no metal lips. Im sure we will know in a few weeks how good or bad these new ones are.

A promising start. Very strange they didn't carry over the steel reinforced feed lips from the gen 2 straights, though.
these things are built like a sherman tank, where the stick mags were like a geo metro.

never needed steel in the first place mine are old af n still look brand new but i did just order 2 curve and 1 20 shorty ..
Success 🙌🏿
Just an FYI, that "modification" of your brace is a no-no.
Very cool
