The reason I see a point in Glock mags is redundancy, if you already edc a Glock, the mag compatibility means less mags to buy. Which means more ammo and fun

Great video addressing the ergonomics of both.
Some of the glock mag akwardness is resolved with small volume mags, but not the angle of switch out.

Being 6'4" it doesn't matter which mag used, I have boxer reach, the firearm is uncomfortable to run, only using the OG mag mind is uncomfortable shouldering. I would like to have access to your attire, the crest is 2 cherries on top.... class...love it

As always, an informative, easygoing, and insightful video. Thanks, you two! Love that you get the pronunciation correct--and make a point of it--at the very top! I'm not offended either way it's said, but one thing I did even before ordering mine (SP9A3S) was to research the name and get the Slovakian pronunciation down (STREE-bog). Kudos, and please keep up the superb content.

Did not mention this, but the failure on Tyla's run was the bolt holding open with a round in the mag as well. So it happened when both did the drill. That is an issue and could be a safety hazard if the person clearing the forearm does not check the chamber or pull the mag prior to closing the bolt.

    • @GBGuns
      @GBGuns  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Yes, it's a magazine failure, when we did the Multi-Mag test for the review of the SP9A3G you see it happen with some mags, not others.

Personally do not like the way glock mags look with a pcc. If I were to get an sp9a3, I'd have to go with the A3 Tactical lower and CZ mags for the reliability and durability. At that point there are other options when you start getting into that price range. Pulling for Grand Power but I think they might be years away.

I have a Brand New SP-10 A3 10mm Stribog. I have found out that there are not very many videos on the 10mm There also is NOT many vendors who have aftermarket parts for the 10mm. Some of the parts fit but most do NOT. Its difficult to be sure something will fit properly. One of them is aftermarket Magazines. Any idea what aftermarket mags will fit the 10mm lower?.

    Sir,
You have done the most testing that I have seen with the bog’s….
Are you seeing the feed lips
brake on any of the curved mags….
I have purchased 10 over the last couple years and 4 have broken on the lips….
I seem to cause a lot of problems/issues with my complaints about the 9mm mags.
I know there are lowers, however I believe the company should fix a defective product. Maybe a video from you would validate the problem if you have experienced it.
    Thanks!

    • @GBGuns

I have yet to experience it, but I also never slam a mag in on a closed bolt. I think that's likely the cause of the cracked lips. I've got over 30 Stribog magazines and have yet to crack one.

@@GBGuns because they do not sale a sp9a3gs. You can get a short bog but it’ll take bog mags. No short one that takes Glock mags. If you had a sp9a3g and sp9a3s you could make a shorter Glock mag one if you can swap lowers
