- In this video I show you step by step how to assemble a beadlock wheel. These are 1.0 beadlock wheels from Little Guy Racing Parts, suitable for an Axial SCX24, Traxxas TRX4M, or any other mini crawler that utilizes a 7mm hex.

Are all little guys wheel vented or only the cyclones?
For mounting the inner and outer face if you have paper clips, or a smaller hex wrench you can put them through the screw holes and two sides to line it up. Then get your first screw in and go from there.
Paper clip method is a great one!
I am seriously regretting not buying a set of those wheels when they were still avalible. I have a new thing for polished brass and gold. I did get in on the first run of trench kings though!
I was skeptical of the rose gold at first but they are glorious in person. Hopefully they restock soon!
This is perfect! I’ve watched hours of videos on micro crawlers already but there are some things I’m still not 100% on, assembly being one of them.

Try using a little bit of water based lubricant on the bead of the tire. It helps when tightening the outer beadlocks. It keeps the rubber from pinching and it seats much better.
Good tip! I could have used this when assembling some 1.9's last night. They were tight!

I feel your pain! When I assembled my first set of stamped steel beadlocks it took FOREVER. Now I hope I can help reduce the pain for others!

Great idea for a series, I've been hovering over the buy button for weeks on an scx24 so I'll be watching intently. All your videos are very helpful.
I want the C10, big fan of your C10. I've been holding off hoping they magically release it with the V2 electronics. Would you say v1 electrics are a deal breaker now with V2 out and I should looked at the Jeep instead? No plans for brushless at this stage.
I wouldn't let the V1 electronics steer you away. The V2 is smoother, but the V1 is still close. Plus the three speed modes on the V1 is nice for adjustment. You can always buy a V2 set on ebay or the Facebook marketplace.
Beginner series is a great idea.
Wish someone had done this a long time ago. This was a tough skill to learn at first, with almost no videos to help at all. Nice job.

Great video on the 3 piece wheel ,and you can agree they're easy to install. But you should do a video of the 4 piece wheel that takes 30 minutes for each wheel, where you start with the outer ring. Not trying to be an ass, but most builders buy those, like the Injora black brass wheels. Everyone wants to show all the easy stuff to build. And Adam , i love all your videos. I've built my gladiator off of your videos with the Injora brass wheels , I look forward to building another build like your comp build, THANK YOU.

Hi everyone, what works great for me every time is using some alcohol spray on the parts of the tire where it gets seated. Makes life a lot easier to put everything together real quick. The spray evaporates after the mounting process. Doesn't 'hurt' the tire at all and you're done with a tire in a minute without breaking a sweat. Give it a try :)

Getting a set of mofo super deep dish today with 3+mm brass hex look tricky to put together hope I figure it out ..the little guys look nice also definitely on my ever growing list
The mofo's are easy. There is an extra step with the hubs, but they go together very smoothly. The bigger hardware is nice and makes them easy to assemble I feel.
@@CapeCrawlers yes sir put them together with the smaller injora pins today for the warthog build the wheel quality is next level and ya the larger size hardware with the brass hex showing threw is epic 👌 no more China for me lol

Just gonna add tires like the swamp king are directional. Make sure you pay attention to mounting 2 and 2 when you do. Unless you enjoy doing things over like me...

I have this same set. My son ran it at a climbing event. I lost almost all my screws. I almost feel like they need a very light thread lock or something.

So I went on Ebay & found the Traxxas TRX4M Carbon Fiber Trail BEAST Chassis BMRC Black. Since I got the M, it looks soooo tempting bro, if it was in blue, I'd bite! Lol

New to the hobby. Picked a trx4m and an fcx18 same day. Just learned the steel stamped wheela from injora dont work on either of these rc's i thought maybe they would work on the scx18 if anything bc theyre plastic beadlocks out of the box but nope 😅
The wheels should fit on the axles. The hexes are the same. What troubles are you having with fitment?
@@CapeCrawlers i meant the stock tires dont fit on the rim. The rims fit on the axles just fine.
Hi Adam, nice video. Off topic. I'm noticing that you are using the flysky gt5 in lieu of the avatar on recent videos. Just wondering what is causing you to switch??
Two things: 1) I am running out of space on the avatar, and 2) I wanted to try something different to get a broader perspective of what's available.

When I did mine I did the star pattern as if you were to put wheels on a car.

Not usually. Only if I have a wheel that's notorious for losing screws.
What size of tires are those?
I have heard you talk about ‘flipping’ wheels to get more width. What do you mean by that?

Basically there are some wheels that have a reversable design where you can gain ~4mm of width per side by attaching the wheel hub to what would traditionally be the front of the wheel

Nope, they sit inside the wheel hub, not the actual wheel.

I have a set of endura rims with Nikki Thompson tires from traxas with mom's, and it seems like it will not let me assemble them properly. Seems like there's air in the system. Do I put a hole in my tire to let the air out? So I can assemble the Beatbox correctly. Because it won't the way it is now. If somebody can give me help with this or if you can do a video at solves this problem so I understand but I've been trying to put these wheels together are literally 4 weeks and it's not getting anywhere. One wheels so f***** u*, it's not Bunny.

What tool kit is that? Trx4m.. all those work on the scx24?

That 4 piece kit is perfect for the scx24. The expanded kit is nice but I don’t think you would need all of it

I got them a while ago, last set of black I think! Been waiting to use them but I’m saving them for my ripper build 👍🏻
there is no bead lock at all, screws are not even on the outer ring, this does not make any sense
this is more about tyre installation convenience than locking anything
