I bought a full set negative offset with brass rings for my trx4 sport for $60. Still waiting for them but I couldn’t believe the price. Especially with the brass. Love injora products
The wheels were super easy to install. Had no problem lining up the stock trx4 sport tires. The negative offset stances out the rig about 3/8in on each side which makes it looks super cool and crawl way better. Couple downsides though. It definitely decreases the overall speed and the added weight pinches the stock foam when going up sharp rocks
@@KevW-z7z try and put some shock oil or wd40 on the bead of your tire. Should be able to spin them into position better. I’m running mine on the stock trx4 sport tires. Might not work for all brands of tire
@@ReggieMan85 screw the bead lock ring on first, then place the round ring with no screws into the tire, lastly put both halves of the wheel onto the tire from each end and screw them together.
Great video bro.....ive been looking at getting some of those Amazon wheels....i recently purchased a set of plastic Gmade brand wheels....i couldn't complete the install....screws to short it seems.....you made it look easy.....think ill try ordering some injoras....cant beat that price....👍👍👍✌
Was looking at a set of these for my scx10 2. Can't see spending $50+ for a pair of name brand wheels for a trail truck. I'll spend the extra cash on better tires. Thanks for the review.
Good question, I don't know about a reducer, I figured the axle diameter on most of the top-selling rigs would be the same. Have you fit them already and experienced the over-sized axle hole?
@@poorboysrc I have a Traxxas TRx4 and Axial SCX10 iii. They both have the 4mm roughly wheel axles. The Injora wheels have the roughly 7mm hole diameter. So have to make a small bushing to make it work. I should have noticed that. But the description said it was for the Traxxas and the Scx10 so I assumed it would be correct.
i just bought a set before seeing this video. please let me know how they work on your trx 4 i have a trx4 sport and would like to know how they work and fit. the set i ordered are going on my axial 10ii
I am indeed, Simon. I fell in love with F-Bodies back in 1984 when I went for my first ride in one. I bought my '94 Firebird back in 1999 and have loved it ever since. I've spent the past two years completely rebuilding it and hope to have it on the road this spring! Fingers 🤞
I have a set of these wheels and I can't get them to fit on any tires and hyrax was the first tire I tried putting them off. Even tried them on some duratrax deep woods tires and the canyon trail tires that come on the TRX4.
I just tried to put stock redcat gen 7 tires on there and they’re too thick. The injora tires I also bought are thinner and work. I think some tires can be too thick.
do it in reverse, works like a dream. Bolt down the beadlock ring to the front half wheel then insert. then insert the back half and tighten 👍
Interesting approach, I've gotta try that! Thanks for the tip!
Same approach I do and is way easier
Why didn't I think of that...
@@poorboysrchow did that technique work?

Yeah you can't go wrong with Injora these days. Glad you're liking them! 👍🏻

Will be buying silicone inserts and a hobbywing 2300kv 2 in 1 in the future

I’ve screwed the bead lock on first and then screwed the two half’s of the wheels around the ring and tire, fairly easy that way
Funny you mention that, I actually tried that after recording and thought it worked pretty well! 👊🤣
@@poorboysrc Stay awesome Phil!
That’s exactly what i did as well. So much easier
Can you explain this a little further? Struggling like hell here 🤦🏻♂️😂

I put a lil soap on the rubber lip and it slips fast and easy into that groove n sits perfect great video..
Thanks bro! 👊

EBay there's a full set for under $20 bucks n well made mine came in early about four days..
@@MannyGunzz thanks for not telling us the brand.......

I can never get them 100% either pal, you're not alone! Haha! 👊
I just ordered a set for my scx10 iii and the center axle diameter is too big. Looks like 7mm instead of 4mm. Is there a reducer for that?

Are these not compatible with proline hyrax tires?
I don't own a set of Hyrax, so I can't say for sure, but I can't see why they wouldn't be compatible.
