- This weeks I found myself a little triggered by the fact that Princess Kate was essentially pressured into revealing a health diagnosis she had no intention of sharing publicly at this time to silence wild speculation about her. I'm shocked so many people have forgotten some of the golden rules from kindergarten...mind your business.

I think those of us that have felt the sting of speculation, even on a small scale (can’t imagine as a celebrity), weren’t engaging in the onslaught over Princess Kate.
I so love Maggie’s channel. Her latest video absolutely was a gut punch and had me in tears a few times. She is so awesome. 🫶🏻
I’ve had the privilege of meeting Natalie and she lives in Missouri. We go to the same GI practice. She is so cool. Check her out for sure.
And Brylee is so funny. She absolutely knows when my dad voice comes out I mean business. And her ornery self usually knows why the voice is being trotted out. She is a hoot. 🫶🏻

Hey, I have a chronic illness as well, I'm also trying to lose some weight I gained because of medications! Also I agree 100% that we should not be judging other peoples weights. My weight fluxes a lot, due to genes and illness, and it's so hurtful when people assume things. About the Kate Middleton stuff, it really bothered me. I had a feeling she was really ill and I know what its like to have your health picked over by others, I cannot imagine the whole world juging you. Especially after what happened with Diana, I feel we owe William and his family privacy at times like this. It all really just rubbed me the wrong way.

I think it's always important to remember that bullies will always be bullies and some people have never grown past kindergarten! Bullies used to be in your face ... now that online trolling has taken over and I think has made the situation worse. I agree that it is important for us allies not only to stick together but push the bullies to make better choices because BULLYING is a choice !!!! I knew Kate had something "abdominal" going on because she is post 40 and has had children and I just thought maybe a hysterectomy but all this carry on in the press and online has been nuts MIND YOUR OWNS! but I wish everyone good health and happiness. OMG This!! and the sad thing is all the speculation just make the people suffering feel so much worse about their situation. Sometimes cutting yourself off from the public eye and social media for a while, especially when in a flare is important your metal and physical health. Everyone deserves to exercise that right. Weight control (losing, gaining, maintaining) isn't easy (haha have you seen me haha) but its better with support, and I'm here for you, hopefully, you'll consider sharing some tips along the way that you find work for you.

I think with people that are, and have always been in the spotlight, obviously how they look is going to be the first think to comment on. Of course, with the rise of not having any consequence for whatever flies out of people's mouths...the questions will get asked and they don't get that filter so "what's wrong with you?" comes out instead of "I noticed this...are you ok? is there anything I can do to help?" is more words and, simply put, they don't wanna. LOL
With us being over here, across the pond so to speak, I hope Kate is well and heals as best she can. Other than that there is nothing I can do about it and she didn't need to give the world an answer, she probably wanted to quit the rumors and I feel bad for her that she felt she had to make a public announcement.

Our fascination with famous people and their lives is a major societal problem. We compare ourselves to people that are idolized. By seeing them and reading about them everyday it makes people feel like they know them and are entitled to intimate details about their lives. This is a hole with no bottom, so I'm just going to say that I wish we as a community would stop spending so much time worrying about someone else who we have never met instead of our friends and family.

It's something that always plagued me as an overweight teen/young adult that I'd feel better if I lost weight but like so much of it was meds, like pred that were keeping me alive. I dropped a ton of weight in the last couple of years (talking like 40Kg) and it was simply just being sick but not realising. Thankfully medical team took the drop seriously and I got checked out but so many people made the assumption I was 'better' because of the rapid drop in weight

It's King Charles's and Princess Kate's bussiness and their countries. All I hope and pray that she and him recover from their illinesses that's all I want too see. I know from experience from Mom's cancer its a heart in the throat and then crash to the floor feelings when you find out someone you love has that. So all I feel is sympathizing. it's not anyone elses biz until THEY make it the biz. The same can be said about my family member. I didn't reveal it until I had her permission not even to other nosy family members aka ex. Because she's the one goin through it and not my place.
I have an ostomy I think that's how you spell it. Not for bowl but the other.
I did the same with my mom’s cancer treatment. It is her information to share as she wishes. The same applies for chronic illness in general really. Which was the point of my little rant.

As far as the jokes or tastless comments. I've learned to let it be. Commedian's or just people are gonna make jokes about everything and everyone whether its at tactful or Tactless. Same can be said for some family members. I have had a few. But I just (don't) let it get to me because I've heard all that my whole life in school. After learning somethings I didn't know about my disability. It's a miracle in itself I'm still here in my 40s right now. So I'm just gonna not let any of that get to me. Do what I do and what I can do as well as i can. That is all I and everyone else can do. I will add the things like foul words aka bigot statements should always be called out always.
