My mom had similar situation. Went to the ER for stomach pain and got told she had a large mass on her ovary and had to have major surgery. She ended up having a hysterectomy, her appendix removed and part of her intestine. The doctors later discovered some of the cells were cancerous. Thankfully she didn't have to do chemo but it was still a complete shock.
This is heartbreaking and the family deserves some time along to deal with this awful news. Wishing her and her family strength and positive thoughts. She is very much a class act.

My mom had similar situation. Went to the ER for stomach pain and got told she had a large mass on her ovary and had to have major surgery. She ended up having a hysterectomy, her appendix removed and part of her intestine. The doctors later discovered some of the cells were cancerous. Thankfully she didn't have to do chemo but it was still a complete shock.
