Great value for those that have a realistic understanding of the value of money. This ute appears to have everything those that want/need a 4WD ute to provide. I’m not into big lumpy utes, but for sure this thing beats the pants off many that cost so much more and actually appears, from your review, to be a ute worth buying with a great 7 year warranty. Thanks for the review.
Incredible value for someone not persuaded by brand reputation or worried what their mates think. Good for a farm runabout too. Another 20-30kw would make it very hard to walk past.
Thanks Alan!! You know the vehicle’s features well - great! I bought an X a month ago. Delighted with the Cannon Ute by GWM. Really, I can’t fault much. Perhaps, the GWM could have installed an internal roof light for rear seat passengers, and an option of a sunroof (for Aus) but other than those items, the vehicle is superb ! Seven year warranty and fixed price servicing (same as my new KIA Sportage 2nd car) are an attractive feature too.
the warranty signifies confidence in the product i think. on the sunroof, i personally dislike them, but as an option, it a great idea for those who want them. I must take note on how many cars have rear roof lights. there wouldn't b that many surely. the Kia is a great car too
With the lane keeping, just enable lane centring and the issue of pulling you left and right goes away, it's really effective and relaxing to drive this way., Thank me later.
people seem to confuse terms thanks to the different names car-makers give those features. What you refer to as lane keep in this case is lane departure assist. The Lane centering feature was on, and only seemed to work with active cruise control as in many other brands

Half the price ??? Not quite true - high fifties for the Triton / low 60s for base isusu n mazda utes / sub 40 k for the Musso & LDV
Think you may find you were driving a Cannon X.
i asked twice, because I thought that's what it looked like to me too. I wondered if it was a special edition of some kind. It was very strange indeed
