🎶 I’m singing in the rain 🎶 Such a transformation in you from day 1 to day 30. You seem so happy, so confident now (in spite of the bb’s). I can’t wait to see you reach Santiago! Thank you for sharing your walk with us
Thank you 😊 Truly transformative
Claudia, you are amazing! I have been following your journey and had to comment on your ferociousness after not one, but two bedbug encounters and then getting up and walking over 30K! Bravo, lady! Keep it up. You are almost there
Thank you 😊
Dear Claudia, I’m sorry it happened to you twice in a row, those critters do hurt especially if you have an allergic reaction to their bite. I want to thank you again and again for your generous beautiful heart in taking me/us on your Camino journey. It has been amazing!I’ve cried several times as well as laughed with your documentary, you have motivated me more than you’ll ever know in my daily struggles here at home, thank you! ❤️
¡Ánimo peregrina y buen Camino!
🌻🎒🌻
Awe that makes me so happy. I'm glad I bring you joy and motivation 😊
Enjoy tomorrow and the following days as you process the amazing accomplishment that is the Camino de Frances! They say your real Camino begins on Tuesday. :). Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy tomorrow. It will be wonderful! Awesome to be able to share it with your parents.
Thank you 😊
you have been an inspiration...so glad you are still feeling so strong! so sorry you are dealing with the dreaded bugs! such beautiful country!
We can't let those little critters win! It is such a beautiful country 😍
Well done Claudia! Been watching you for a while now. We all had those bad days. Hope you feel accomplished and not had too much of a reaction to those bites. Almost look like ticks as they seem so big compared to bed bugs.
Right? They were definitely bedbugs (🤢) and the bite doesn't have that ring like a tick. Thank you 😊
You are an inspiration!
Awe thank you 😊
One more day, Claudia!!!!!!!
Woooooohoooooooo!!!
P.S. You are not a cheater. “Your Camino your way.” 😘
Thank you 🥹
It DID look like Kevin Costner 😂😂
THANK YOU!!! it so looked like Kevin Costner

Wow, twice in a row and in private rooms - unheard of so far. Poor you, that's what I call bad luck, so sorry !!! Note to myself: hang up all your stuff at night, if necessary over the door. Put backpack on a hook in the bathroom, check not only sheets and matress but entire bed and shake out pillows and spreads. Too late now for you, but there is also stuff to spray on your backpack that's supposed to keep them out, don't know how well that works though. Wishing you a wonderful, peaceful, no-bug, just bliss-happy last night before Santiago de Compostela :)
Ps I don't think it's Costner. I believe these murals are part of an art exhibition called "Las estrellas del camino" from 2021 or 22, with several murals along the frances and also the portugues way. Each shows a local person from what I remember
LoL, thank you... I could have sworn it was him.
@mywanderlustcamino Claudia, maybe Kevin's actually hiding in plain sight. 🤔. Speaking of....he beat me in yahtzee today, which I'm sure he's already gloated about it to you. 😆. Enjoy these few days with your parents, hope the rains pass quickly and maybe we can walk the beltline when you're back.
Did you book all of stops and lodgings prior to starting the Camino?
@@ericsemple4820 I did most of them, just not on the meseta. And Im glad I did, the Camino was extremely busy and I didn't have to race every day to find an albergue. On the meseta I was calling or WhatsApp to book the day or a few days before.
@@ClaudiaRodrigues-Wanderlust I did that in 2022 when walking with my wife. The challenge was when we made a change then it created a domino effect of required changes.
@@ClaudiaRodrigues-Wanderlust In September I have only booked the first 7 days and from there once I determine my rhythm will figure what I will do. As mentioned I am targeting to go off stage to ease any bed race challenges
@@ericsemple4820 I didn't make many changes. I kept pretty much to my schedule.
@@ericsemple4820 off stage is a good idea! Next time I go I will do more off stage since I've already seen the town's I really wanted to visit.
