I did the Camino Portugues from Porto in March and I am glad I trained going uphills and carried my fully loaded backpack a couple months before . It made it manageable going up those steep sections along the way and downhills too. I never understood what it meant hearing people say the Camino provides until I actually did it and experienced it for myself . I am looking forward to seeing you go to the places I went to as you head further on your journey . Love your videos Nick. Buen Camino.
The way I got from the couch to the Camino was to watch your adventures last year Nick! I probably would have made it on my own but your advice and confidence took away a lot of the unknown and gave me the confidence to make it happen! On the Meseta now and loving it. And you were so right Nick, the view on the way out of Castrojeriz took my breath away. Thanks.
It makes me so happy that you are on Camino and seeing it for yourself. 😊 I’m just trying to work out the dates …I’m in Santiago on 17/18 and then I’m off to Oviedo to do Primitivo getting back to Santiago somewhere around the 2-4 July ish? Your arrival time in Santiago won’t be far different to that. Hoping I get chance to buy you a coffee 😊😊
I am walking it virtually. Thank you for posting.
