Feeling very relaxed! On the seated and standing wide-legged bends, I'm not able to bring my elbows near the floor. I feel my hamstrings are very tight. What progression would you recommend for hamstring/lower back flexibility? Thank you for all you do!
Dear Adriene, thank you so much for this practice. Two months ago I lost my husband and became a widow at age 28 - cancer sucks. Combined with the short days and long nights during winter I barely have any energy left in my body to move. Practices like this are perfect for me right now because they don't require a lot of energy. Adriene, I hope you know how much the work you are doing is making a difference in people's lives. I'm glad that I became a member of FWFG years ago. Sending out lots of light and love to everyone who's in a similar place like I am right now.

When Adriene said "to the infinity" & my inner child happily answer "and beyond", and I end with the biggest smile on my face for how silly I'm allowing myself to be 😂That’s probably one of my favorite thing about yoga, reconnecting to my inner child. 🙏
I started SOBBING when she said "these can be small gestures too." I think that's so important to remember in LIFE: sometimes all we can do is a small gesture of love (for ourself or for someone else) -- but those small gestures really do add up. Sending lots of love to anyone reading this!

Re: intention - I used to really struggle with this prompt but today I remembered a quote I read somewhere: "give every day the chance to become the best day of your life." I really like that. No pressure, but possibility. Openness. I like that intention. May it serve someone who reads it here too.

Again with the pressure on myself to reinvent myself everyday. Maybe I'm enough and I don't have to think I'm boring or not trying hard enough. Namaste 😌
I had a break from Yoga for almost a year now due to heavy depression. I now wanna start again with my daily yoga routine and today is my first day and during this video I just realised how much I love yoga, espacially your channel and just how amazing your videos make me feel. That was amazing, just the calm, gentle,and rejuvenating yoga practice I needed. Yesterday I went ice skating for the first time. It was great fun, but today my Fibromyalgia is making me pay for it. I am sore all over, and feeling really sick, I've slept for most of the day, and am really unable to move. This unfortunately is my reality, the reality of living with a chronic illness. I will do something amazing one day, and pay for it the next day, and some for the next week. But I get by, and your gorgeous yoga videos are part of how I get by. So thank you Adriene. ❤ Thank you for this beautiful yoga practice, and for all the others. After doing this I feel just a little better, and I know in the long run I will feel alot better for getting on my mat today, and doing yoga with you. I just got tested for COVID and my boyfriend is laying in bed sick. I was feeling anxious and overwhelmed so I turned to the mat. This video was just what I needed. Cheers to the Yoga with Adrienne family for keeping me sane during quarantine, going back to work, and now quarantining again.
I don't have my mat nor space at my in-laws but I plan on using this video to have a long meditation about Christmas-time, being far from home and this difficult end of the year. I read somewhere that sometimes when in need, just imagining practicing yoga can be almost as helpful as doing yoga, if the mind is focused enough. I need to try! Can't wait for HOME. Tried all the talking-therapy for years and years and years.. then it turns out that all my mind needs is regular massage-appointments and a regular yoga practice.. thanks Adriene! Your calming words help a lot and your the best at reminding me that I don’t have to ”look good”, I just need to feel good.
From the moment I put my blanket over me and closed my eyes to breathe my mind was filled with the most beautiful mixture of blues and purples. It’s never happened to me before. They swam like some sort of lava lamp as a breathed and then settled on a deep blue as I whispered Namaste. Then they were gone. Feeling very calm now. Thank you, Adriene 🙏💙

This was perfect as a bit of stress started to seep in with a grading deadline approaching soon. I get so tired when reading and marking essays and scoring oral exams that I cannot just finish them in one fell swoop. Just too many. So glad this one was scheduled for today. Balance day 8. 430 days in a row.
I was having a lil' Christmas Eve panic attack but didn't give up. A walk and some legal cannabis gave me a beat to be able to ask for what I needed from loved ones, which included some yoga. The algorithm gods brought me exactly the gift I needed in this little gem! Holy cuss-nuggets! This was, like, wow! Sobbing, laughing, RELEASING, and relaxing. Thank you so much! 🙏♥️

I've been in hospital and care center since...confined to bed ,wasting away except for OT, and occasionally despairing about what the future may hold. my daughter brought my Kindle and there was your Sunday post! I am blessed right now. Today morning I decided to bake and I did so. After putting the batter over gas I switched to this cozy practice. In between I smelled something different. I immediately visited the kitchen and I found the gas was leaking and I switched off the knob. After that I felt silence in me and get back to the practice with gratitude. Though in between I again visited the kitchen; as now I was little anxious also. Though I did the practice in break but still it served the purpose! Thank you sweetheart and every reader for reading. When I heard these words I felt my body automatically relax and release all of the tension and stress that my highly sensitive nervous system habitually accumulates as a reaction to our trauma-based dominant culture. Thank you for these nourishing, loving practices that really make a difference toward shifting away from those necessary but ultimately damaging trauma-based reactions and toward the healing, regenerative, nurturing responses that are our birthright and so very needed.

Breath 28 '22. My asthma always feels better after breathing exercises. Winters can suck for us weak lung folk. Great guide to relaxation and feeling anti-inflammatory energy.
I have had the though that one day, she'd make a benji voice and do this, then have an entire yoga video made up of lots of little clips of stretches benji has done, and do a voice over of instructions in th benji voice.
I've been having a bad mental health week and this yoga practice brought me to tears. I just wanted to thank you for offering me a much needed release. I'm going to try to do yoga every day in december because it makes me feel more balanced mentally, emotionally and physically. Thank you Adrien
I had a severe allergic reaction two days ago that send me to ER. As someone who struggle with anxiety, fear of hospitals (and right now with COVID I was even more scared than ever)... I found myself being able to stay calm and apply your breathing techniques while the nurses and doctors were trying to save me. In the past, I would've had a huge panic attack (which would make the allergic reaction just worst), but the only thing I heard in my head during that time was Adriene sweet calming voice whispering to me that « stay calm, breathing is healing... just breath » . I can't thank you enough Adriene for your practice and for just being you. You helped me recover faster and come home to my beloved boyfriend also named Adrien. I have 2 amazing ''Adriens'' in my life and I feel so lucky to have you both. Thank you

Needed a gentle practice today because I have sore muscles from a workout yesterday. Perfect because it’s a cold day at the beach today. At the end with eyes closed and sunk in breathing, the sun came out and it felt like I was glowing from behind my closed eyes. Pretty neat feeling. Have a happy day y’all. 💛🙏

This was exactly the practice that I needed today as I recover from a cold but feeling like I had to move somehow. Magically, your calendars always have exactly what my body needs each day.
This has to be one of my all-time favourite Adriene practices, as much as I love the fiery, more sweat-inducing practices! As a self-confessed morning person who prefers morning yoga, ever since I came across this one in one of your monthly calendars, I regularly return to this video in the evenings in my pyjamas, finishing with the meditation section in my bed covered with my duvet. HEAVEN. I never fail to get a wonderful night's sleep after doing this and, trust me when I say, I haven't felt truly rested when I wake up for about 15 years now!! This evening, I found something new and did my meditation slap-bang in the middle of my bed, taking up as much space as I can. Felt very strange for me who, even as a single person who sleeps alone, always sleeps on one side of the bed curled up in a foetal position! Sorry for the ramble, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this practice and all that you do! Bring on day 1 of January 2020 'Breath'

Can I just say, I like that her intros are short- some people’s are minutes long hers are the perfect length so you get in in the mood

Your calming words help a lot and your the best at reminding me that I don’t have to ”look good”, I just need to feel good.

From the moment I put my blanket over me and closed my eyes to breathe my mind was filled with the most beautiful mixture of blues and purples. It’s never happened to me before. They swam like some sort of lava lamp as a breathed and then settled on a deep blue as I whispered Namaste. Then they were gone. Feeling very calm now. Thank you, Adriene 🙏💙

This was perfect as a bit of stress started to seep in with a grading deadline approaching soon. I get so tired when reading and marking essays and scoring oral exams that I cannot just finish them in one fell swoop. Just too many. So glad this one was scheduled for today.

I was having a lil' Christmas Eve panic attack but didn't give up. A walk and some legal cannabis gave me a beat to be able to ask for what I needed from loved ones, which included some yoga. The algorithm gods brought me exactly the gift I needed in this little gem! Holy cuss-nuggets! This was, like, wow! Sobbing, laughing, RELEASING, and relaxing. Thank you so much! 🙏♥️

Dear adriene. I've beendoing your practice for awhile now .I recently got out of the hospital with covid so breathing is very important for recovery. I've been in hospital and care center since...confined to bed ,wasting away except for OT, and occasionally despairing about what the future may hold. my daughter brought my Kindle and there was your Sunday post! I thought why not try to just do whatever I can. I knew just seeing you and hearing you would be a huge boost in morale! Anything else would be great!!! Today, while laying down, I put my folded blanket in my belly when Adriene told us to put it by our sides. It felt very cozy, just to give you some ideas! Keep on balance, day 8 already, yay!

I am blessed right now. Today morning I decided to bake and I did so. After putting the batter over gas I switched to this cozy practice. In between I smelled something different. I immediately visited the kitchen and I found the gas was leaking and I switched off the knob. After that I felt silence in me and get back to the practice with gratitude. Though in between I again visited the kitchen; as now I was little anxious also. Though I did the practice in break but still it served the purpose! Thank you sweetheart and every reader for reading. Thank you for this reminder, permission, and encouragement. When I heard these words I felt my body automatically relax and release all of the tension and stress that my highly sensitive nervous system habitually accumulates as a reaction to our trauma-based dominant culture.
Thank you for these nourishing, loving practices that really make a difference toward shifting away from those necessary but ultimately damaging trauma-based reactions and toward the healing, regenerative, nurturing responses that are our birthright and so very needed.

Breath 28 '22. My asthma always feels better after breathing exercises. Winters can suck for us weak lung folk. Great guide to relaxation and feeling anti-inflammatory energy.

I've been having a bad mental health week and this yoga practice brought me to tears. I just wanted to thank you for offering me a much needed release. I'm going to try to do yoga every day in december because it makes me feel more balanced mentally, emotionally and physically. Thank you Adrien
I had a severe allergic reaction two days ago that send me to ER. As someone who struggle with anxiety, fear of hospitals (and right now with COVID I was even more scared than ever)... I found myself being able to stay calm and apply your breathing techniques while the nurses and doctors were trying to save me. In the past, I would've had a huge panic attack (which would make the allergic reaction just worst), but the only thing I heard in my head during that time was Adriene sweet calming voice whispering to me that « stay calm, breathing is healing... just breath » . I can't thank you enough Adriene for your practice and for just being you. You helped me recover faster and come home to my beloved boyfriend also named Adrien. I have 2 amazing ''Adriens'' in my life and I feel so lucky to have you both. Thank you

Day 8 Balance: I switched to morning practice yesterday and today made it feel like a wise choice. I want to wake up to this every morning!
Thanks to this community, I am able to stay focused. I work in a Hospital and needless to say this are some CRA CRA times. Writing policy and hoping you did the right thing affecting others. Needed a gentle practice today because I have sore muscles from a workout yesterday. Perfect because it’s a cold day at the beach today. At the end with eyes closed and sunk in breathing, the sun came out and it felt like I was glowing from behind my closed eyes. Pretty neat feeling. Have a happy day y’all. 💛🙏

Been quarantined in my apt in NYC for 19 days during the COV-19 outbreak. This was just what I needed to soothe my nerves and just breathe. Thank you, Adriene! You are helping a lot of people, especially during these uncertain times. Who else got teary eye-d during the last segment of breathing?

This was exactly the practice that I needed today as I recover from a cold but feeling like I had to move somehow. Magically, your calendars always have exactly what my body needs each day.
This has to be one of my all-time favourite Adriene practices, as much as I love the fiery, more sweat-inducing practices! As a self-confessed morning person who prefers morning yoga, ever since I came across this one in one of your monthly calendars, I regularly return to this video in the evenings in my pyjamas, finishing with the meditation section in my bed covered with my duvet. HEAVEN. I never fail to get a wonderful night's sleep after doing this and, trust me when I say, I haven't felt truly rested when I wake up for about 15 years now!! This evening, I found something new and did my meditation slap-bang in the middle of my bed, taking up as much space as I can. Felt very strange for me who, even as a single person who sleeps alone, always sleeps on one side of the bed curled up in a foetal position! Sorry for the ramble, but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this practice and all that you do! Bring on day 1 of January 2020 'Breath'
