I have been doing yoga with Adrienne since last June. I am a lot more flexible. Sometimes I don't want to show up but I always fell better afterwards. The detailed instructions are amazing and have helped me progress faster. I also enjoy your lighthearted approach to yoga and the encouragement that you give to us all. Build🧱 - April 2024 I build my body based on healthy foundations so that I can flourish. So lovely to tend to the lymphatic and nervous systems this afternoon. It’s such a wonderful way of taking care of yourself and re-energising not only the physical body but also the cellular and the metaphysical, both equally important layers of our beings. I really enjoyed the initial variation of knocking on heavens door which I took as me patting myself on the back for creating a strong, supported body full of positive energy through my many self-care practices. Hey! Do you include any other workout in your fitness routine or just stick to yoga? I have been following Adrienne for about a month, and I've finally been able to get back into fitness. But I used to be quite athletic in my high school and college days, and now that I'm getting back into fitness after a break of about 4 years, I want to feel athletic again, challenge myself more. But I don't want to move on from Yoga with Adrienne, I love this channel way too much by now. I was wondering if it'll be safe to include HIIT before performing yoga, do you have any idea about that? Help will be appreciated.
@@villanelle2.0this style of yoga is more about stretchinG, flexibility, and mindfulness. I would not consider tHis much of a workout at all. I use this type of yoga practice to cool down and stretch after my HIIT workouts. Check out Heather Robertson or Madfit channels here on TH-cam. Heather is my absolute favorite, but her workouts are pretty tough!

It’s been 10 years since the surgery so I guess i am doing alright I can’t feel Great. But I am alive which matters and will manage to live well doing yoga and meditation etc.

They talk too much, yet I check them and tell them to raise their virtual hand and the chat conversations need to be strictly related to the course. I didn't ever think I'd say they're asking too many questions, yet they are and many of them have a difficult time comprehending things which is concerning at college level. Ah, I digress. I have to get back to prepare for a new ENG Course tomorrow. How was school today?

Today I'm having a chill day, I was very busy a couple of days ago, and with my Fibromyalgia it hits me hard, so today is a restful one. "remember how good your body is at healing" thank you Adrienne. last year, I did the 30-day breathe series that helped me find tune with myself. it made me feel comfortable in my body and strong. I did that in June 2021. I had a couple of good months after but I went back to uni after covid in 2021 Sept. A lot of things happened at once which I think took be by shock and tested me at all levels. I tried my best going back to yoga but I was just so caught up in my spirals. I was diagnosed with depression, ED and anxiety around Jan 2022. After which, I started meds in Feb 2022 and Therapy thereafter in March 2022. Had 5 sessions of CBT (that was the max offered by school) but since all of these things, my body got very fatigued all the time and weak. I have gained roughly 10kgs and have lost my zest for movement. I begun recovery proper in March - July! July and August was spent writing 6 essays and a dissertation to finish my degree. Slowly, I learnt to read properly, process information, remove mental blocks and learn to change my approach to spirals. I stopped my meds back in September and have been coping well! Even graduated with a first class honours! But now I am focussing my recovery in gaining back my flexibility, physical activity, strength and movement. I have been finding it very difficult to go back to the strength I have. The ongoing stress for over a year has really affected my physical health that I have been finding difficult to heal. Adrienne, you don't know how much that one sentence meant to me today. It brought me down this path of reflection. To not only feel proud of my journey, but to renew the belief I have that I will get better physically too. Thank you for all the love, support and guidance. These little reminders go a long way! Finding my path back to yoga to heal my body, mind and soul, one breath at a time :)
I've fallen out of a regular practice over the past year or two, but was able to join in today. I teared up at the end when Adriene mentioned feeling gratitude for taking this time for yourself. Hope to be here more often as 2023 closes. Thank you
After a wrist operation I’m slowly getting back into my yoga practice. This practice went ok, only my slight headache this morning kept me from finishing it. I will repeat it because I feel it’s good for building my strength. Ps I have been exercising with Adriene for 7-8 years now. To me it really changed the way I think about my body and I have come to appreciate and love it so much more. Thank you Adriene & team ❤
What a day! Busy busy busy and finally at almost 7pm I was able to roll out my mat! Still here for TURN - November 2024 Day 18. Now I feel grounded and less stressed again. I am so grateful to Adriene & Benji and the community here. Sending love & gentle hugs to everybody who needs it! ❤
"remember how good your body is at healing" - this is my return to doing Yoga with Adrienne after a two year break; after I got covid and lymes disease in 2020, my body was so run down that I could no longer exercise without severe repercussions. Even yoga was too taxing for me, and all I could do was take long walks. But now, after lots of time focused on healing my body, I am back at the mat and I am SO EXCITED to get back into stretching with the rest of you! Doing this practice today reminds me that healing is an ever ongoing, forward-moving process!

I was close to giving up on the practice mid way through, but I am very glad I stuck with it. I felt very stuck and unmotivated before the practice, and now after the practice I feel relaxed and motivated! Thank you Adriene!

Wow! Truthfully I didn’t quite want to do a full yoga practice at 12am but I knew I absolutely needed it! It was blissful, like another comment said I was so surprised when it ended and how much my attitude and appreciation changed! I found plenty of new opening stretches I loved, especially always loving Knocking on heavens door! This put a smile on my face, thank you Adriene and lovely people who commented as well!

I treated my self to this class today, on my 50th birthday! I have been doing 30 days of yoga with Adriene since year one. For the first time this year I continued passed the 30 days, and have done yoga everyday since January 1st and it feels good! Thank you Adriene!

Yesterday I was really having a tough day. And I tried the yoga for grief with Adrienne and it just completely changed my mood. I ended up getting a job too. Which felt even more amazing. And today I woke up to do this yoga video and I just feel great. It's amazing how yoga can change your day. I do it then I stop and my life goes spiraling down. I'm gonna tell a little story. I started yoga with Adrienne 2 years ago (pandemic, as many of us) and do it every day. Like 3 or 4 months ago I fought my always present feeling of being faithful to the person who helps me somehow and said "I can try some other yoga classes online" and started with another woman (very nice, nothing against her). But then I started to feel that I didn't have the same inside peace I had before and yoga became more like a workout and nothing else. I wasn't feeling fine, it was weird. Until I realized that what I was missing was Adrienne (and Benji) and came back to her finding that peace and joy she gives to us all. It showed me how important this connection is and how much she comforts me (and make me laugh). Thanks a lot Adrienne!
Thanks for another great practice, Adriene. I had 13 lymph nodes removed from under my right arm along with a bilateral mastectomy one year ago, so I am always stretching those axillary cords. I am healthy again and doing all my regular things. Yoga has served me so well during this journey. I'm glad I found you and this lovely community. 🧘♀️❤️
I felt myself coming down hard with a cold and my skin hurt, joints hurt, ears felt hot, eyes glassy. I drank a big glass of water, did this video and I swear I’m feeling better. I believe I flushed out the virus that was trying to take over. I believe in the power of moving skeletal muscle to flush the lymphatic system, to revive the body and immune system. A healthy lymphatic system is so important for a healthy immune system - it is where our dendritic cells hang out with our T-cells to make sure we have an efficient immune response. The system 'pumps' around 6 times a day and movement such as yoga (or cardio) really helps this process and prevents stagnation. Thank you for this class!
I love anything that supports my lymphatic flow, our lymph glands are real powerhouses for our wellbeing. Whether stimulating through yoga, massage or flushing them with water. Thank you for this Adriene and please bring more lymphatic flows to this channel! xxx

today is my first full month challenge completed! I had to share as ive been practicing every day for 6 weeks. I rewarded myself on the last day of the month with this great practice. I'm a woman who always has had pretty consistent abdominal cramping, especially around my period when it gets dibilitating! this is the first month in my life where I haven't experienced any cramping at all. I'm completely amazed and so grateful for my dedication to getting on the mat every day. My next goal is 6 months, then 1 year. thank you!!

I have JUST found this channel and am thrilled with the lymphatic drainage session. I’ve done it twice in the last three days and feel so light and airy and yet grounded and healed. My body absolutely took to this session. I will be back for more. I have lots of videos in the library to try!

So lovely to tend to the lymphatic and nervous systems this afternoon. It’s such a wonderful way of taking care of yourself and re-energising not only the physical body but also the cellular and the metaphysical, both equally important layers of our beings. I really enjoyed the initial variation of knocking on heavens door which I took as me patting myself on the back for creating a strong, supported body full of positive energy through my many self-care practices. Hey! Do you include any other workout in your fitness routine or just stick to yoga? I have been following Adrienne for about a month, and I've finally been able to get back into fitness. But I used to be quite athletic in my high school and college days, and now that I'm getting back into fitness after a break of about 4 years, I want to feel athletic again, challenge myself more. But I don't want to move on from Yoga with Adrienne, I love this channel way too much by now. I was wondering if it'll be safe to include HIIT before performing yoga, do you have any idea about that? Help will be appreciated.
@@villanelle2.0this style of yoga is more about stretchinG, flexibility, and mindfulness. I would not consider tHis much of a workout at all. I use this type of yoga practice to cool down and stretch after my HIIT workouts. Check out Heather Robertson or Madfit channels here on TH-cam. Heather is my absolute favorite, but her workouts are pretty tough!

It’s been 10 years since the surgery so I guess i am doing alright I can’t feel Great. But I am alive which matters and will manage to live well doing yoga and meditation etc.

@@Peacie Blessed! I really felt amazing afterwards, too. I have to be honest. It was frustrating. The class is bigger than usual. They talk too much, yet I check them and tell them to raise their virtual hand and the chat conversations need to be strictly related to the course. I didn't ever think I'd say they're asking too many questions, yet they are and many of them have a difficult time comprehending things which is concerning at college level. Ah, I digress. I have to get back to prepare for a new ENG Course tomorrow. How was school today?

"remember how good your body is at healing"
thank you Adrienne. last year, I did the 30-day breathe series that helped me find tune with myself. it made me feel comfortable in my body and strong. I did that in June 2021. I had a couple of good months after but I went back to uni after covid in 2021 Sept. A lot of things happened at once which I think took be by shock and tested me at all levels. I tried my best going back to yoga but I was just so caught up in my spirals. I was diagnosed with depression, ED and anxiety around Jan 2022. After which, I started meds in Feb 2022 and Therapy thereafter in March 2022. Had 5 sessions of CBT (that was the max offered by school) but since all of these things, my body got very fatigued all the time and weak. I have gained roughly 10kgs and have lost my zest for movement. I begun recovery proper in March - July! July and August was spent writing 6 essays and a dissertation to finish my degree. Slowly, I learnt to read properly, process information, remove mental blocks and learn to change my approach to spirals. I stopped my meds back in September and have been coping well! Even graduated with a first class honours! But now I am focussing my recovery in gaining back my flexibility, physical activity, strength and movement. I have been finding it very difficult to go back to the strength I have. The ongoing stress for over a year has really affected my physical health that I have been finding difficult to heal. Adrienne, you don't know how much that one sentence meant to me today. It brought me down this path of reflection. To not only feel proud of my journey, but to renew the belief I have that I will get better physically too. Thank you for all the love, support and guidance.
These little reminders go a long way! Finding my path back to yoga to heal my body, mind and soul, one breath at a time :)

After a wrist operation I’m slowly getting back into my yoga practice. This practice went ok, only my slight headache this morning kept me from finishing it. I will repeat it because I feel it’s good for building my strength.
Ps I have been exercising with Adriene for 7-8 years now. To me it really changed the way I think about my body and I have come to appreciate and love it so much more. Thank you Adriene & team ❤

"remember how good your body is at healing" - this is my return to doing Yoga with Adrienne after a two year break; after I got covid and lymes disease in 2020, my body was so run down that I could no longer exercise without severe repercussions. Even yoga was too taxing for me, and all I could do was take long walks. But now, after lots of time focused on healing my body, I am back at the mat and I am SO EXCITED to get back into stretching with the rest of you! Doing this practice today reminds me that healing is an ever ongoing, forward-moving process!

Wow! Truthfully I didn’t quite want to do a full yoga practice at 12am but I knew I absolutely needed it! It was blissful, like another comment said I was so surprised when it ended and how much my attitude and appreciation changed! I treated my self to this class today, on my 50th birthday! I have been doing 30 days of yoga with Adriene since year one. For the first time this year I continued passed the 30 days, and have done yoga everyday since January 1st and it feels good! Thank you Adriene!

Yesterday I was really having a tough day. And I tried the yoga for grief with Adrienne and it just completely changed my mood. I ended up getting a job too. Which felt even more amazing. And today I woke up to do this yoga video and I just feel great. It's amazing how yoga can change your day. I do it then I stop and my life goes spiraling down. I'm gonna tell a little story. I started yoga with Adrienne 2 years ago (pandemic, as many of us) and do it every day. Like 3 or 4 months ago I fought my always present feeling of being faithful to the person who helps me somehow and said "I can try some other yoga classes online" and started with another woman (very nice, nothing against her). But then I started to feel that I didn't have the same inside peace I had before and yoga became more like a workout and nothing else. I wasn't feeling fine, it was weird.
Until I realized that what I was missing was Adrienne (and Benji) and came back to her finding that peace and joy she gives to us all. It showed me how important this connection is and how much she comforts me (and make me laugh). Thanks a lot Adrienne!
Thanks for another great practice, Adriene. I had 13 lymph nodes removed from under my right arm along with a bilateral mastectomy one year ago, so I am always stretching those axillary cords. I am healthy again and doing all my regular things. Yoga has served me so well during this journey. I'm glad I found you and this lovely community. 🧘♀️❤️

I felt myself coming down hard with a cold and my skin hurt, joints hurt, ears felt hot, eyes glassy. I drank a big glass of water, did this video and I swear I’m feeling better. A healthy lymphatic system is so important for a healthy immune system - it is where our dendritic cells hang out with our T-cells to make sure we have an efficient immune response. The system 'pumps' around 6 times a day and movement such as yoga (or cardio) really helps this process and prevents stagnation. Thank you for this class!

today is my first full month challenge completed! I had to share as ive been practicing every day for 6 weeks. I rewarded myself on the last day of the month with this great practice. I'm a woman who always has had pretty consistent abdominal cramping, especially around my period when it gets dibilitating! this is the first month in my life where I haven't experienced any cramping at all. I'm completely amazed and so grateful for my dedication to getting on the mat every day. My next goal is 6 months, then 1 year. thank you!!

I have JUST found this channel and am thrilled with the lymphatic drainage session. I’ve done it twice in the last three days and feel so light and airy and yet grounded and healed. My body absolutely took to this session. I will be back for more. I have lots of videos in the library to try!
