I’ve always wanted a backup camera for my 15’ BRZ but didn’t wanna mess with wires the headache.. after I saw this video and saw how easy the process is and how affordable the camera is, I’m definitely making this happen! Awesome video!
No problem! I can’t speak on behalf of all the camera kits sold, but ours was on the camera cable closer to the end that attached to the camera. I hope that can help!
Pretty good vid. Would just say next time you’re pointing out things, maybe edit in a circle around what you’re seeing. Kinda tuff when you just shoot all the harnesses and say “that wire.” “Those bolts” not the biggest deal, but my only critique. Thanks for the help otherwise
I wish I could remember for sure! It might've had something to do with wiring in the reverse sensor for triggering the camera? I think some cars already had wired from factory it and some cars didn't.
Seeing as how everyone speaks in _reverse_ in the Red Room from Twin Peaks, and I was installing a _reverse_ camera, it was suppose to elicit a slight chuckle, yes.

I've got a 2016 BRZ with the factory camera, though mine is on the right, I guess cos it's a right hand drive car.
