    Alright! Those BRZ can pull some turns. Two thumbs up. Anyone who doesn't know, never part with your Subaru axles. Both joints have a rebuild kit. Aftermarket are junk for many reasons, but if you run on custom suspension... you now own a wagon.

    That rear view camera sitting slanted there on the bumper would bug the crap out of me. Well done tho. Added to my to do list.

    Good video, I would like to see a transmission fluid change next. There is not a lot info on the automatic BRZ transmissions. Keep up the great content!

    • @I_know_what_im_talking_about
      @I_know_what_im_talking_about ปีที่แล้ว

      What info do you need? It has a 7.9qt capacity and takes JWS 3324 or NWS9638 Automatic Transmission Fluid, which is essentially Dexron VI
      Regular oil changes is key to a healthy automatic gearbox. I would do 30-40k changes for optimum performance. 👍🏼

    Thanks for posting this video. I got the same year and color but with a manual and 60k miles from a neighbor for my son to use. W/O a backup camera, I am worried he might back into something. I was looking at aftermarket head units, but this is simpler and cheaper to do.

The Forester Wilderness has a forward camera, and my 2020 Touring has a knock out on the grill in the same place for a camera. Any way to get one installed and utilize the factory [upper dash] screen?

    Have a 2016 Scion FR-S just installed the Sony XAV-AX100 (purely for the boot screen customization) as well as car play. Having a hard time finding a straightforward answer or pin out to make the OEM reverse camera work with the aftermarket head unit. Looks like a yellow RCA cable so some way to convert that + power. Any advice? Thanks!

    I just picked up a '23 BRZ. This is my first vehicle that sits so low to the ground and I'm paranoid about smacking the front lip into a curb. Would something like this be able to mount up front and only turn on in 1st gear rather than reverse?

    What's the verdict from you and others on a 2008 Tribeca with 230,000 klm's on the clock. I bought my first Subaru in 1980 and had 1.5 million k's of trouble free motoring. After running diesels for 15 years I got a cheap Volvo xc90 [ check engine light, easy fix] my wife claimed it, now I want to give the diesel the flick and buy an xc90 for myself { the 3.2 ltr petrol } I can't find one in my price bracket. Would the Tribeca be a good alternative, if so what do I need to look for in a vehicle that's done 230,000 k's. Your comments and others who have run the 3.6ltr. Tribeca would be appreciated.

    The camera power line from the wire adapter goes to the red wire on the camera line right. I just did this and it didn’t work. Emerald is now saying I need a different reverse signal. Ugh.

    Couple of things to know,,you could have installed the camera in the middle as there is no button to worry about on that car & then the picture would have been centered instead of being to one side also, for those that attempt this , use a plastic snake (a VERY long wire tie) cut the end off, tape the wire to it & then use glass cleaner (spray bottle) to act as a temporary lubricant to ease the wire through the boot. That after a short time will dry up & not leave the wires slippery like WD40 would
