That salicylic acid anhydrous solution 2% saved my skin! I have extremely dry skin, but it’s also acne prone, and I had a lot of closed comedones. I tried so many BHA solutions and they wrecked my skin, even using only twice a week. This one cleared my skin in two months and I now use it 5 times a week, all over my face. I love it!
So the niacinamide is also wonderful for pores. I initially got it cuz i read somewhere it could help reduce sebaceous filaments and help oil control. I don’t think it did anything to help the sebaceous filaments but what it did do was reduce the appearance of my pores and every time i stray away from it i can see the difference in my skin. Hi Cassandra, your show is so informative, love love love you and your show, and The Ordinary as well. I would love you to show us how you incorporate these above mentioned products in your AM and PM routine. Thanks for the wonderful shows. 😍
Hey Cassandra, thank you for the informative video on the best ordinary products! I love the copper peptides, I use it every morning and it definitely works on plumping nicely the skin! I have been using the granactive retinoid emulsion for a week now and I do prefer it to the retinol 1% in squalane, as this doesn’t cause any irritation and it has a lovely milky texture.
I love the vitamin C powder to mix into body lotion before sunscreen! My skin started looking better in a few weeks. I don’t do that for my face because I’m too sensitive.
Ooooh, I too had been avoiding buying the blue copper peptide serum just because of the cost, but I'm soooo tempted now!!! I've never tried a copper peptide product before but I'm 45, with some filler, and always want to plump up my cheeks more! 😂 I hope you're ok by the way. Sending love and strength to you! ❤
I love the Ordinary copper peptides and still use it but I have recently started using the Naturium Multi-Peptide Advanced Serum and love it as well. The Naturium serum has copper peptides as well but is more hydrating. It also has argireline and ferulic acid as well. It is supposedly encapsulated, so you can use it in any skincare routine as it plays well with others.

I tried the pycnogenol 5% and didn’t realize how allergic I was to pine. Beware if you have a pine allergy or seasonal allergies. Luckily I bought mine from Ulta and was able to return.
Pycnogenol is wonderful. My skin tends to have some redness at all times and it makes it has a pigment that makes it more obvious unfortunately. I only use it at night.
ok, I promise I do not have anything against the ordinary, but for the first serum I know some people have zinc allergies, like my cousin, and it irritates their skin and makes them breakout. so please patch test that serum, because if you have a zinc allergy and you put that on your face, it will break you out, and you will be in pain for a while. Happy to educate you!😃👍
Amazing! The Ordinary indeed still has some of the most iconic products on the market, and it‘s really nice to hear about them again. I‘ve been using the THERAMID Copper Peptide 3% and I have yet to find one that has a higher concentration of this pricy, active ingredient. I feel like you get a big bang for your buck with that one. Didn’t try TO‘s yet, because I believe it contains 1% Copper Peptides and costs almost the same. Thanks for filming and sharing this video with us Cassandra 🎊
Excited to try the pink serum and Azelaic acid! Thank you for reminding me about these, Cass! Thinking hard about the blue serum too, but I think I'll need some more research to back it up
Funny enough the pink stuff kinda irritated my skin but I may give it another go. I just started the azelaic acid after my Inkey List bottle finished. I really like the texture- it smooths right in and seems to be helping my rosacea on my cheeks.
That barrier serum is amazing for rosecea. I've been using it for 3 months and no big flare ups. But I'm jealous that I can't use the pine stuff, I'm allergic to pine 😢
Wow I used to follow you when you did makeup and shared your acne story. Always loved how you covered up the acne so well. Can’t believe you’re an esthetician now! That’s amazing!
Cool experience with the ordinary 2% granactive retinoid and 10% matrixyl. My mum wanted something for her wrinkles and was going to buy an expensive French cream that had this plant glue in it to tighten wrinkles. So I was like “if you want, but I know something that could give you better lasting results”. So we go to Priceline and we pick those 2 serums out, and she’s using them for the next few months with moisturiser (she refused to use sunscreen, I’m sorry I tried). And after 1 month the forehead wrinkles were completely gone, and her skin never dried out even while having pretty bad Rosacea. She did stop using the products and the results did fade, but that’s probably for the best since she refused to use sunscreen with it and summer was coming. And we live in Australia…
Thank you for this! I curated my own ordinary kit and I appreciate knowing your favs! I really like their eye serums - esp the caffeine one ❤ and the hyronlaunic acid ones ❤
I started a strict daily skin routine & I see a huge difference. I used cerave for a retinol serum and night cream but I knew I was lacking a lot so I got the toner, vitamin C & antioxidant serum (I dilite) from the ordinary and I haven't had a break out in soo long and my skin improved so much. ❤
Your skin looks great! LOVE the Ordinary's Niacinamide, I have dry skin btw, and I can't be without it. Bought the Pegnogonal because of you. I alternate it with Vit C.
I love copper peptides! I’ve used a handful of them including the ordinary’s and niods. Now the whole thing about not being able to use them alongside vitamin or retinoids has been debunked. I've tried that exact Copper peptide and I believe I may have goofed. my skin took on a 'pink hue' on the cheek area (and I'm an olive toned gal) so I can only assume that I irritated my skin layering on other products. I may have to try it again.

Cassandra!! I *need* to hear your thoughts on the VT Reedle Shots! I am so conflicted! I had such great results but now I am anxious about the long-term effects. Help out your k-beauty butterflies!
I have been wondering what would happen to the skin IF we apply a thick layer of a casty ghosty mineral sunscreen like a mask for few hours or a whole day. I mean, zinc oxide have so much benefits for the skin when it comes to irritations, burns and cuts. So would the skin become brighter? Would be great to get this tested 😊
I am just wondering if one uses the 100% L Ascorbic Acid Powder in the mornings and retinol in the evenings, when can the Multi Peptide + Copper Peptide 1% Serum be used?
I was surprised when you mentioned that Glycolic Acid Toning Solution 7% should be used at night. ...every morning I use Glycolic before starting my skincare routine. should I change?
Big hugs Cassandra ❤ from Ontario. I'm a 55yr (March 1st 😮) Oma and I learn SO much from you. Have you heard about Tret being discontinued in Canada?? I was told by my pharmacy yesterday. They now have to order a different brand from God knows where. The pharmacist had no idea why it's discontinued. Also, life is hard at times hon. I know saying this time too shall pass doesn't always help...especially with a broken heart. But it will. Give yourself a break, give yourself time to feel the pain and cry cry cry it all out. I don't know you in life but this Oma is giving you a hug ❤
I wonder what's going on! I'm in Texas, USA. It took my pharmacy 8 days to restock my .025 tretinoin prescription. When I picked it up it was a totally different brand I've never heard of manufactured in Israel. Did your pharmacy say what brand they are changing to?
Can copper peptides be used with vitamin c? there is some mixed information online. Biossance states that theirs can be used with vitamin c and it's actually a good combo, but the ordinary says not to mix?
>.> My skin gets easily irritated and dries out faster if I don't use the glycolic acid toner every day. I've been using it every day for a few years and I almost feel like my skin has gotten addicted to it lol.
I’ve been searching around your channel and have been wondering, have you heard about The Ordinary’s Glycolipid cream cleanser??? I tried it a while ago and found it at Ulta, I’ve heard others talk about it.
Hey Cassandra I love ur videos and always try my best to follow ur tips. Thank you for sharing really. I really have tried to incorporate pynogenile (don't know the spelling 😅🥲) but it peels for me with everything...I used it over Ordinary niacinamide and inkey list and under the beauty of joesen sunscreen but it's very frustrating so although I have I'm not using it any top for this?
I started taking oral pycnogenol (at 69 y.o.) and my hair started getting much thicker! I wonder if it would work topically, like minoxidil? I'm going to try, get back to you!
I think the retinol serum isn’t available in Canada is because I’m pretty sure OTC retinoids are capped at 1%. I think there have also been some new laws on retinoids recently I don’t know the details of
Thank you for the very informative video, but as always I get overwhelmed and then don't know what to choose. Can I use the Niacinadi, buffet and multi copper in the same routine? I'm 60 years old with combination skin and melasma on the cheeks. Thank you 🙏🏽
I used to love the ordinary products but can't anymore, it's unethical to consume them. Can you help us with alternative brands that don't support Garza's G?
Hi Cassandra, Thank you for this. Just as a clarification. Could a sensible morning skin routine be,Cleanser, Vitamin C+ Ferulic Acid(Perricone) Niacinimide, Hialuronic Acid, Argilerine, Copper peptide serum, moisturizer and finally sunscreen? Or would youleave the copper peptide serum for night and alternate it with Retinal (Medik8 for example)
dont put 50 things on your skin at once, also you dont need to cleanse in the morning, just rinse off with cold water. you should watch her video about mixing the ordinary products.
The amount of products you are putting on your skin is ridiculous. Do you really think layering like that the ingredients are going to seep into your skin? Waste of products.
I've used copper peptides. I didn't find any difference at all from their regular serum. In the last couple of years Niacinamide is the product I've found most beneficial. I'm 77..
Does anyone know if there is a way to easily find out which products are water based and which are oil based? I love The Ordinary and have many, many of their products but I always find that I get the combinations wrong and end up with product balls all over my skin.
Honestly the fact that a brand this good exists and is this affordable shows that some brands are really inflating their prices just to drain their customers

Is the Buffet still available? I love that stuff!
Me too
I am just wondering if one uses the 100% L Ascorbic Acid Powder in the mornings and retinol in the evenings, when can the Multi Peptide + Copper Peptide 1% Serum be used?
Outside of Cassandra’s amazing skin cannnn we all talk about her lashes?!?! Lashes look amazing😍😍😍😍
Yess cassandra what is this??
they discontinued the ascorbic acid and alpha arbutin serum...which was my HG. Do you have any suggestions for what I can replace that with?
Is it safe to use the blue serum Copper peptide serum just before the L ascorbic acid in the morning??
I was surprised when you mentioned that Glycolic Acid Toning Solution 7% should be used at night. ...every morning I use Glycolic before starting my skincare routine. should I change?
Hey Cassandra , can u do a video on euk 134 0.1 % by the ordinary!?
@vixendterror1890 I have not picked it up yet. SO strange, I hope there wasn't issues with the original product!!!
Big up us 55 year olds! More beautiful now than in our youth because we have wisdom.
Can copper peptides be used with vitamin c? there is some mixed information online. Biossance states that theirs can be used with vitamin c and it's actually a good combo, but the ordinary says not to mix?
So a video on L’Ascorbic Acid powder recipes orrrr? 😍
>.> My skin gets easily irritated and dries out faster if I don't use the glycolic acid toner every day. I've been using it every day for a few years and I almost feel like my skin has gotten addicted to it lol.
Wait I need to know what not to use with the copper peptides bc you’ve done a great job of convincing me to try it lol
It’s on the screenshot of the chart (20:13)
I’ve been searching around your channel and have been wondering, have you heard about The Ordinary’s Glycolipid cream cleanser??? I tried it a while ago and found it at Ulta, I’ve heard others talk about it.
Dang I wish you were in Michigan. I'd def come to you. I need a good skincare routine
Ooooo I didn’t know The Ordinary had its own copper peptide! Was looking at the niod copper peptide line but it’s a bit on the pricy side for me.
I've got hair loss, did it work?
Best Vitamin C video please. Review on the Jumiso one.
Can you do a “Top 10 at home anti aging devices”? I’m looking for something I can safely do at home to get better results than topicals alone.
Thank you 🙏🏽
Niacinimide should be used with care, it can give you a red flush.
Can you use these products while using the ulike? Or can you suggest what products are safe?
I have the Vit C powder but have not used it yet. What do you mix it with? BTW, love your channel!
I think she has a whole video on how to use that product!
You are the best!
I used to love the ordinary products but can't anymore, it's unethical to consume them. Can you help us with alternative brands that don't support Garza's G?
How?
Yes, how
Can you do a video on the best ingredients for anti aging?
Can you layer copper peptides with niancinimide in your morning routine.?
What do you mix the Asorbic powder with ? Just water ? Hyaluronic ? What ?
im inpress on your videos keep it up
Hi Cassandra,
Thank you for this.
Waste of products.
does anyone know if you can use the copper peptides serum under makeup and sunscreen?
I've used copper peptides. I didn't find any difference at all from their regular serum.
In the last couple of years Niacinamide is the product I've found most beneficial. I'm 77..
Love the Ordinary. The Buffet with Copper sounds worth it for the price. Your hair looks great. Thanks for the video, very helpful. Happy Wednesday 🌞🦋
Does anyone know if there is a way to easily find out which products are water based and which are oil based?
I love The Ordinary and have many, many of their products but I always find that I get the combinations wrong and end up with product balls all over my skin.
The ingredients are listed on the Ordinary’s website. You can see which have water in and which have oil.
