@@misojimo2154 It absolutely is whether you like or not. It has come to the point where even the brands are taking a step to tell you that overconsumption is bad lol. Obsessions aren't healthy when it comes to... Pretty much anything...
@@phamthituongvi8224 If you buy some more at once, that doesn't mean you "HAVE TO" open them up and put them all on your face at once. I buy one year skin care in advance but only open them and try one by one.
@@phamthituongvi8224 I didn't mean it with any sort of judgement - just as an analogy for the situation. It's great because you have access to way more stuff than you ever did before, when a basic glycolic acid product was $60. But you need to be mindful that you don't go overboard!
I really worry about the younger Generations because it's an obsession and it's an obsession with something that you honestly have no control over as much as you want I just worry that people are going farther and farther away from being natural even though they claim all of this stuff is natural I really wish the trends would head back towards the hipsters who didn't shower I mean sort of not quite that far
I was using Glycolic toner for about 6 months and hated it, it broke my skin barrier couple of times. So I decided to switch to the red peel solution, despite having a sensitive skin which clogs quickly. I followed instructions on a bottle to a T, once a week, no more than 10 minutes. Works magic! Instructions are on the package for a reason, people...
I bought this to use, via a cotton bud to try to remove milia from around my eyes, it didn't work at all. I then used it on my dry and awful left elbow, it was amazing. I have freckles and very badly sun damaged skin, it is amazing. Not sure it reduces any of the pigmentation but it feels really good on the back of my hands, my lower arms and legs. I don't use it on my face. It really has made a difference in those areas. And décolletage!
Me too but I stopped after 3 attempts. It’s just too rough for my skin types. But they have weaker versions and I didn’t know that so the mistake was on me.
I haven't tried the AHA+BHA mask, however I think its unfair to judge it as a 'bad' or the 'worst' product solely on the grounds that people use it wrongly, or overuse it. All of your points about using it correctly, and about it being suitable for experienced users of chemical exfoliants are mentioned on the website, and presumably on the product itself. The fact that people use it incorrectly is not a fault of the product.
I agree with you. As someone who uses it i really am fearful that the government may step in and start to clamp down on products like this. I have had really great experiences with this product and i REALLY dont want it to go off rhe market
I think this is more of her opinion piece in terms or best and worst, as she mentions in her description but ofc people don't read, kinda proving her point lol. Everyone's skin is different, so what works for you, may not work for her and what works for her, may not work for me. For example, AHA+BHAs really irritate my skin. They just do not work for me at all. It's better to focus on the formulation side, what's in there that can expand the amount of people who use it.
Girl I've been suffering every night putting that vitamin c suspension straight on my face not knowing I needed to mix it with something. It burns so badly. Thank you.
Not all people can use all Products . I so wish I could use Vit C! I’ve tried and tried. Nope. It’s not the product, it me! I can’t use it. Products are not universal and neither is my skin. It’s normal for your skin to love some and is intolerant of others. I’m a huge fan of The Ordinary
@@kimberlyharrison87my only issue with finding another brand for Vit C is how do I know the strength and if it helps? If The Ordinary’s Vit C burns my skin then that’s me. If I can use it with a different brand, I’m suspicious. I’ve been with The Ordinary for many years . I use maybe a dozen products (due to issue or season, not all at the same time. Lol).
that's a great idea! I'm trying to find a good retinol a good vit C product without breaking my wallet (and Paula's Choice is way out of my price range)
Azelaic azid from the ordinary completely obliterates my cystic acne. If i have a cyst in the morning, it has disappeared at the end of the day. Holy grail stuff
I love this video! I didn’t know that The Ordinary doesn’t do stability testing and the retinol products aren’t worth it. I’m glad I learned something new :) my favorite product from The Ordinary is the Buffet
I think they do standard stability testing (looking for obvious changes in the product over time), but I don't think they tried to quantify the amount of retinol left in the product after X months or whatever and improve it :(
Products are adised to be used within three month after opening, and i think thats enough to understand that for how many months the products are effective. I dont know what else you guys need
If you like to double cleanse, their oat cleansing balm is pretty renowned lol. I think it’s okay. I don’t like the little granules in it that pretty much exfoliate, plus one needs a pretty robust 2nd cleanser to take it off completely, but it’s $10 and has colloidal oatmeal so eh.
I really like their hyaluronic acid and PHA toner (size is small tho). I also like their salicylic acid cleanser. The toner doesn't irritate my skin and the acid is very hydrating. I'm using their vitamin c and egf and tranexamic acid for my acne scarring and waiting for results to kick in (havent tried them for long). If you're looking for a vitamin c from them i suggest you get the 15%vitamin c and EGF over their vitamin c; the latter irritated my skin
The moisturiser and the eye cream with mica in it are my favourites. The only product I tried that I did not like AT ALL was the tranexemic acid. It pills up by itself, with any other products, and smells TERRIBLE. The Good Molecules Dark Spot Corrector (something like that) behaves in the same manner, and also contains tranexemic acid, I believe. So it may just be how the ingredient behaves. They're both just too finicky for me, since I layer skincare. Edit: I didn't like Inkey List's hyaluronic acid, either. It's such a tiny container, and also tends to pill up. No thx. I prefer to buy the jumbo size of Good Molecules' hyaluronic acid. Edit2: I'd recommend trying Good Molecules' Niacinamide Toner. It gave me noticeable anti-aging results within a couple months. It. Is. Amazing!
OMG, you really hit home when you talked about following the instructions for the Vit C 23%! I consider myself fairly educated in terms of skincare and acid use and my skin is also quite used to stronger actives, but I couldn't get around the fact that the VitC 23% felt so gritty and sometimes stinged a little! I never thought about mixing it with other serums because it wasn't written anywhere. Your explaination was eye-opening, thank you!
I watched a random video a couple of years ago and fell down the skincare rabbit hole. I was determined not to spend a lot when I didn’t know what I was doing so the Ordinary was my savior and it changed my skin so much for the better. I’ve always had problematic, oily skin, and never knew how to take care of it. Lots of videos and products later I’m still a huge fan, I use their products everyday. The 30% solution blew my mind, I couldn’t believe how smooth my skin was. If used once a week or every two weeks it’s a gem. I also like their salicylic acid masque and the NMF moisturizer works great for me. I’ll never have tiny pores or a totally even skin tone but I don’t have constant breakouts anymore and I have much better “skintuition” and for that I’m so grateful 🙌 More please! PS - Side benefit, the skin on my hands that was always rash prone and patchy is much better for all the products that have been used too!
Lab Muffin is my favorite of all cosmetic vloggers. I appreciate the (dry) detailed science based information presented in a (very enjoyable) sarcastic and slightly comedic format. Michelle, your personality makes learning about skin care fun.
So, I’ll be 30 next month and I’ve been really, really into skincare for the last 10/11 years. I’ve been doing professional acid peels for a few years, and the Peeling Solution initially freaked me out. But I was determined to give it a try, so I approached it (ridiculously) cautiously. I would honestly have never introduced it into my routine if it hadn’t been for lockdown. I looked at my first bottle as a “throw away” bottle. My skin is dry-combination and very sensitive and reactive, so I devised a schedule that I thought would help to introduce it safely into my routine. I do the mask once a week (every Wednesday evening) for seven and a half minutes- but I had to work up to that kind of time. My very first week, I did two minutes. My skin passed the test- no irritation, no chemical burns, so I was good to go for week two. The second week, I did three minutes. Again, my skin handled it well, so I continued. I added one minute to the mask every week until I got to eight minutes, and noticed a slight tingling that told me it had hit its limit. The next week I dropped down to seven and a half minutes, and that was perfect. I had found my “sweet spot”. Those first four weeks, I really noticed no difference in my skin at all (and I didn’t expect to see any difference) I simply viewed it as an exercise to help my skin adjust to the product. It took me about seven weeks in total to figure out exactly what worked for my skin. This was an exercise in patience, for sure. But it worked really well for me. I also moisturize very heavy on mask nights. So it is a really fantastic product and it can be safely used, but please use extreme caution. ❤️
the Ordinary truly is a hit or miss line for me. their rose hip seed oil works astronomically well for me, and out of the 7+ repurchases, 2 of them were oxidized upon purchase so idk if it’s a warehouse issue or not sourcing from the same supplier every time. their ascorbic acid 8%+ alpha arbutin 2% serum literally never sank into my facial skin, superrrr thick & greasy. their multi-peptide serum for HAIR however, is surprisingly effective!!
Same for me. Their products either become my holy grail or I'm tossing them out after a week because I can't stand the way they feel. It's like there's no middle ground.
I love the ordinary but I’m one of those people who adhere to all the warnings and directions. I definitely don’t think we need to see laws instituted bc people decide to not perform a patch test, follow directions, or listen to the warnings. I’ve had a lot of success with improving my skin and reducing my rosacea with the ordinary products. Something that I’ve never been able to do before bc of the cost of top shelf brands but also bc , let’s face it, top shelf brands aren’t always trustworthy. Look at mario bedescu and the vitamin c serum. You canNOT find the percentage anywhere on the box or website, which seems very fishy to me.
@@goread5544 for me it’s been vitamin c and hyaluronic acid and a bit of niaminicide. Using a high sunscreen (100 spf) daily has helped with the redness too. Lots of moisturizing and using ceraphil face wash. I cannot pinpoint just one thing bc I’ve implemented these things slowly over the years. A diet rich in veggies and lots of water has helped as well. It’s a journey for sure.
@@nctsgrass neutropenia dry touch 100 spf Idk if it’s the best available but it works for me and is in my price range. I sometimes have to set it with powder but that could be the humidity in our region.
The Niacinamide serum caused me new cyst before the previous one had the time to heal 🙈 I loved the 30% AHA + 2% BHA peeling solution but my skin loves acids and I always used it once a week for maximum 10 minutes. I also enjoyed the Glycolic Acid toning solution but now I’m having a hard time fitting it into my routine so I use it on my body, works quite well. Retinol in Squalene, Caffeine under eye serum and Alpha Arbutin serum were all meh, didn’t do much

Alpha Arbutin works amazing for me. Never saw post inflammatory pigmentation disappearing so fast. Definitely working, will start using the one with Vit C (Ascorbic acid) during the day.
Thank you very much for the review! I’m currently using those products, that were mentioned: *Retinol in squalane 0.5% Works wonders on my face because I follow the instructions. Good to know that the granactive formula is more stable. ** Vitamin C suspension - I use it rarely with my regular moisturizer. - That’s because the retinol treatment and other products I prioritize over it. Still works great. ***Niancinamide 20% - used it a bit, don’t see much impact. (Other products that I use do the same effect) I use also- Marine Hyaluronics + Peptide Serum by day (before moisturizer+SPF) Marine Hya. + Alpha Arbutin + Moisturizer+ Retinol by night. In the shower I use a mild facial cleanser. At night I double - cleanse.
Absolutely love this! Would like to see videos focusing on the best and worst of certain products (e.g. best sunscreens/retinoids) across different brands, as well as what makes them good or bad so we will be able to choose better
I totally agree about the 30% vit C. I love it but it has to be mixed with another product before I use it. I find it mixes well with a "watery" serum or HA serum. I have combo skin and I struggle with PIE from old acne marks. I use the vit C as my last step before spf. My spf is also my moisturizer . This combo has done wonders for my skin tone and has really faded stubborn old acne marks. I have tried every other kind of fit C serum from really high end to vit c powders and hands down I get the best results from this one. However, it has to be mixed with something to work its magic.
This video was pretty eye opening because I really do rely on the ordinary a lot of the time for affordable skincare. The brand that I view as only a little bit more pricey with much better formulations is The Inkey List. Would love to see you do a video on them!
I’m new to the ordinary and I’ve been adding it into my other skin care carefully. Glad to see that most of the items I chose myself after research were the ones you felt were universally good
When I first discovered The Ordinary 2.5 years ago I was that kid in a candy store. Now I only use the Glycolic Acid toner, the Niacinamide on my places where my glasses co tact my skin b/c it keeps them from slipping, and once or twice a month the acid peel.
YES,YES,YES more videos about the ordinary. I'm planning to buy a load of products soon and as I live in Japan I want to get as much information from you as you know what you are taking about!!!
Spot on! I was exactly what you described - the kid in the candy store who was completely enamored by the price and simple formulations. However, a skincare DISASTER due to my un-educated approach to acid exfoliation taught me a brutal lesson 😬 However... that experience has set me on a path for a passion about skincare & a minimalist approach. 💫
I love that the ordinary sells the variety of products they do! For many experienced users this is the closest we can afford to professional treatments. It does worry me a bit that people don’t do research before putting chemicals on their face. I genuinely think there’s a bit of a trend in ‘bad skin reactions’ omg look what happened when I carelessly slapped a medical product excessively across my face. Safety aside, research and education is your best friend if you just want products that work for you.
Hi!! I just wanted to say that we all appreciate you so much for teaching us this information. I bet you get so many requests for certain videos and we are all just so thankful you put the time into teaching this. You are awesome.
Amazing videos - having worked in dermatology, you know more and explain more clearly how products work than some persons working in sales of these products!
Love every single video you make. People underestimate the power of patience, consistency and small steps. My dermatologist loves lactic acid for my skin, when doing in-office treatment. It does wonders to my skin!
An other you tuber compared them at some point and said the base ingredients are different... I mean you have the main ingredient (like Niacinamide) but it's put into a different formula. If I remember right, she said that it's good for people who want to use a main ingredient but have break outs because they get the option to try another company's product too. It's usually not the main ingredient that causes skin problems but whatever they put it into... other than that, I think she said Revolution is a bit more simple (I think it was Cassandra Bankson )
My skin, while acne prone and horrible all-over, never has breakouts, only once when I used benzyl peroxide. Revolution salicylic acid toner ruined my face, literally. I do not recommend! Never had a breakout like that, and it was not purging.
This is extremely helpful. I've been exploring The Ordinary as part of a new interest in anti aging skin care. I'm 65 and before this my skin care consisted of body wash and shampoo. There is so much on the market. You are helping me to navigate my way through the hype. You've hit on some of the products I am using. I would like to see more. I've been considering agireline, matrixyl, pycnogenol, the buffet with copper. So many of these ingredients seem to do the same thing. I don't want to be doubling up on ingredients. And there are two many things you can put on your face. I find it hard to be selective. So, yes, I would like to hear more about your experience and thoughts.
I've been really blessed by the ordinary for 2 main reasons. The 1st is the budget Friendly aspect and the ability at a low cost to do trial-and-error to discover what works for my skin. Since I have sensitive and reactive skin, I love the simple and basic formulas after years of trying combined drugstore pproducts never knowing what ingredients are causing the reactions or acne. I too have found some of TO products are holy grails, and some I have disliked. My faves are the rosehip oil, EUK 134, argiriline, buffet copper peptides, niacinamide/zinc, arbutin in ha, resveratrol/ferulic, and ascorbic acid/arbutin. These have helped transform my oily aging sensitive acne prone skin. So grateful
Yes! I love the squalane cleanser too! You just have to use it right. Apply it dry to a dry face, rub in, THEN add water to rinse off. If you add water too soon, it doesn’t cleanse well.
I’m so relieved at your review of the Niacinamide! I just hated it- it’s gritty and greasy, and if I put anything on top of it, like a moisturizer or sunscreen, it pills horribly and peels right off. I’ll give the Paula’s choice a chance!
I am a COMPLETE science fan. Always have been, currently starting a PhD program in viral proteomics this fall! I AM SO HAPPY I FOUND YOU! lets be science friends :) :)
This is the first video of yours that I've watched... and I have to say WOW! Your attention to detail and analysis of the scientific studies backing each product is amazing. This video is awesome and you are fabulous!
Thank you for doing this video. I love the concept of The Ordinary, and yes, there’s a ton of different stuff to choose from. I actually followed your Basic Skincare Guide, and bought the rose hip oil, since I’ve got dehydrated oily skin, and I love it! I think, with your guide, you’re good to go so thank you so much 😍
@@beboprovina totally agree, the Copper version is expensive compared to their other products, but I find the results totally worth it and copper serums from other brands are double+++++ I'm glad you like it too 😊
@Luna Lovegood the original Buffet is a serum, you can use it after cleansing, between hydrating steps, before creams... I've noticed firmness and my skin looks and feels completely different, it's weird because when I touch my face it feels tighter and smoother. I know for sure is that serum because it was the only one new, and I don't like to introduce too much stuff in my routine! The one with copper I just started after finishing the original one but it's even more potent...
@Luna Lovegood They're peptide serums, packed with basically all of the most popular peptides (e.g. Matrixyl) and gobs of amino acids. They're definitely great for plumping and hydration, but might actually have collagen-building benefits, too!
This video format of "best and worse" is really great I like it a lot! I use the chemical peel from the ordinary and only use it once a week for 9 minutes. Been using it for over a year and at this point I'm just convinced my skin needs professional help because nothing that I have access to has worked. I can't afford a dermatologist so that sucks, but I'm using what I have because I've already spent the money. Nothing is making it worse thank goodness but nothing seems to be working the way it should either.
Would love to know what vitamin c you would recommend (budget) instead of The Ordinary. Would love to see you do another video on the ordinary's other products.
For me personally the Niacinamide 10% Zinc 1% is great. I have genetic acne (it's really constant and always there). I started using it well over 6 months ago and during that time, I also underwent a drying therapy supervised by my dermatologist. There are absolutely no negative effects with this specific product. I will definitely rehbey it because I really really like the immediate brightening effect it gives me. I'm not sure about the rest though but alone for the brightening effect + no side effects, it's worth it for me.

I’d love to see a hit or miss on The Inkey List as well as a part 2 of TO! I personally agree with the Vitamin C and niacinamide powders not being the best, giving off the impression that using more of an ingredient means better results. That’s not true at all. Same goes for the AHA/BHA peel. So many people have used it overnight and I’m like: 😬🤯 THAT IS HOW YOU DESTROY YOUR SKIN BARRIER NOooooo
I just discovered The Ordinary, and am so thankful I found this video. Thank you. ❤️ going to agree with you They had so many products and don't tell you what they work well with and don't.
“It’s hard to expect a company to put an alert on your cart, are you sure you want to buy all this.” Lol. I’ve tried a few products, but haven’t seen an effect. Your analysis explains why that might be the case. I did try their lactic acid, but too afraid to try their AHA’s. I have seen results from Paula’s Choice AHA and BHA, with no irritation. Enjoyed the video!
I'm one of those folks who had a bad experience. The niacinamide serum caused a horrific sensitivity that took ages to heal. My face burned and stung and turned red when I used my basic, plain moisturizer. The only thing I'm still interested in trying is the peptide serum.
@@LabMuffinBeautyScience Ive read from DSM's marketing of their ingredient "Niacinamide PC" that it claims to have "minimal levels of nicotinic acid", and obviously taken orally nicotinic acid/niacin can cause flushing. Could it be that maybe the ordinary is using a version with higher levels of nicotinic acid, which combined with the fact is a fairly high percentage and its usually peoples first niacinamide serum so they usually haven't built up any tolerance to the flushing, that's why it causes so many issues. I know you said in the video it you thought it was another ingredient, but I wondered if you had thought about this line of reasoning?
@@IEatUnicornFishCake jeez must be horrible for rosacea! I was thinking about the 10% niacinamide serum to calm and heal my flushing cheeks but omg glad I didn't buy any Ordinary products. Makes total sense that they don't recommend it together with Vitamin C.
Thank you SO MUCH for clarifying that I actually cannot get the red Peeling solution in Australia because I had viewed the great reviews of it on TH-cam and tried to find it for purchase. I appreciate your honesty of it's harshness and because of this I no longer want it. Thank you! X!
Great video! I would love to see a Part 2. I also use products from Deciem's Hylamide and Niod brands and would love to see this kind of brand review of their best and worst. My favorite Ordinary products currently are *Resveratrol 3%/Ferulic Acid 3%, *Retinol .5% in Squalane, as well as the Rose Hip and Marula Oils. I have heard great things about the Amino Acids, but haven't tried it yet.
Your videos, as always, are the easiest to watch and listen! I did the "kid in the candy store" a year ago, and now I've progressed into Hylamide's products for myself and Niod's for my mum. I've upgraded from Ordinary's Niacinamide to Hylamide's Pore Control serum for myself, and to Niod's re-pigment for my mum. Higher price point, but significantly better formulation and effect!
Thank you for this! By chance I came across this video and decided to watch it because I had just bought The Ordinary glycolic acid 7% toning solution, because I needed a new toner. The bottle saying to only use once a day, so I got another toner toner, and this was just sitting. Now I know what it is, why I'm using it, and how to use it. Thank you again!
I absolutely love the 5% retinoid in squaline- I'm a redhead with very dry reactive skin, and the 2% emulsion burnt my face off, whereas this one really makes my skin feel soothed and soft. I also think I might have rosacea, so my skin is very sensitive, so finding a retinol/retinoid product has been difficult.
I've tried various Paula's Choice niacinamide formulations, and sadly, every time my face exploded. I have all the characteristics that would make niacinamide a holy grail ingredient, but I just can't get it to work without regrets. Azclear though, which is sometimes on shelves and sometimes behind the counter at pharmacies, is a great way to get azelaic acid. I only use it at night because it doesn't play well with makeup, but twice daily acid is probably too much for my tetchy skin anyways

I only started watching you recently and I was looking for this video! And I finally found it and it only just occurred to me that it's brand new! :D thank you!
my absolute favourite product from them is the aminoacids+b5 serum. I have dry, dehydration prone and sensitive skin and I haven't found any serum that compares to how hydrating and soothing that one is. I actually ran out a few months ago and have been using other serums since then (because I impulsively bought them to try out and want to use them before they go bad) and I really miss it. I'm definitely going back to it once I finish these serums and toners that I thought would give me similar results, but ultimately haven't.

“Like being a kid in a candy store.” She did it, she broke down my obsession with skincare in a single sentence. Would love to see more on this, thanks Michelle! 💕
It's not a complement
Completely agree with you
I agree with you. As someone who uses it i really am fearful that the government may step in and start to clamp down on products like this. I have had really great experiences with this product and i REALLY dont want it to go off rhe market
I like it. I've seen good results after using it regularly for about 6 months.
They are not on the product, maybe the website though
Girl I've been suffering every night putting that vitamin c suspension straight on my face not knowing I needed to mix it with something. It burns so badly. Thank you.
Their Vit C is my least favourite product. I’d never touch it again.
Im using lilly sado vitamin C serum and its easy on my skin
if something burns, you should STOP using it immediately and change the schedule or even the product. skincare should not be painful/suffering
I’ve been with The Ordinary for many years
. I use maybe a dozen products (due to issue or season, not all at the same time. Lol).
Could you make a video about alternatives for the “worst” Ordinary products? 🙏🏻
That's a great idea! It might take a while though, there are so many hyped up products I'm yet to try...

Azelaic azid from the ordinary completely obliterates my cystic acne. If i have a cyst in the morning, it has disappeared at the end of the day. Holy grail stuff
Are you in Australia? Their website says it can't be shipped to Australia.

I love this video! I didn’t know that The Ordinary doesn’t do stability testing and the retinol products aren’t worth it. I’m glad I learned something new :) my favorite product from The Ordinary is the Buffet
I think they do standard stability testing (looking for obvious changes in the product over time), but I don't think they tried to quantify the amount of retinol left in the product after X months or whatever and improve it :(
I love the buffet, too!

I would love a video on Inkey List! I want to try their products but don't really know which ones are worth it
If you like to double cleanse, their oat cleansing balm is pretty renowned lol.
The Lactic Acid is very easy to use and a simple, hydrating formula!
i like their oat balm (it took me a while to get used to a non-foaming cleanser though!) their niacinamide, the retinol and the tanexamic acid
I’ll never have tiny pores or a totally even skin tone but I don’t have constant breakouts anymore and I have much better “skintuition” and for that I’m so grateful 🙌
More please!
I looooove the retinol in squalane! Just love it so much, has done wonders for my skin!
Yes, please continue through the line. Many times I've learned unexpected information and concepts regardless of the featured topic or product.
You explain this so much more clearly than so many other influencers’ and skin experts’ reviews of the Ordinary. Love you!
@@vegasgirl3538share some of your holy grails from the brand
I'd love to see you do a similar range evaluation on Good Molecules! They seem to be getting recommended over the Ordinary nowadays. Great video!
Yes I was about to say Good Molecules also!
I have their Niacinimide, and it's very affordable and less sticky then TO
I love the ordinary but I’m one of those people who adhere to all the warnings and directions.
What have you found helped rosacea?
@@goread5544 for me it’s been vitamin c and hyaluronic acid and a bit of niaminicide. Using a high sunscreen (100 spf) daily has helped with the redness too. Lots of moisturizing and using ceraphil face wash. I cannot pinpoint just one thing bc I’ve implemented these things slowly over the years. A diet rich in veggies and lots of water has helped as well. It’s a journey for sure.

Definitely working, will start using the one with Vit C (Ascorbic acid) during the day.

would love to hear more from you about the ordinary!! thanks for the video!
Your intro is really important and I hope people don't skip through to the review
I love the ordinary argan oil, it's hard to find genuine argan oil at a good price. I love it for facial massage.
I used it in my hair for a while - love that they've made plant oils so accessible!
I love their marula oil
I use it in my hair religiously
Thank you very much for the review!
I’m currently using those products, that were mentioned:
*Retinol in squalane 0.5%
Works wonders on my face because I follow the instructions.
(Other products that I use do the same effect)
I use also-
Marine Hyaluronics + Peptide Serum by day (before moisturizer+SPF)
Marine Hya.
However, a skincare DISASTER due to my un-educated approach to acid exfoliation taught me a brutal lesson 😬
However... that experience has set me on a path for a passion about skincare & a minimalist approach.
Amazing , you should definitely review The Inkey List next time as it's becoming very popular.
Hi!! I just wanted to say that we all appreciate you so much for teaching us this information. I bet you get so many requests for certain videos and we are all just so thankful you put the time into teaching this. You are awesome.
Would absolutely adore it if u did the rest of the brand, but would also love different brands
Amazing videos - having worked in dermatology, you know more and explain more clearly how products work than some persons working in sales of these products!
Thank you for this! ♥
I would LOVE to see this type of video for THE INKEY LIST
Love every single video you make. People underestimate the power of patience, consistency and small steps. My dermatologist loves lactic acid for my skin, when doing in-office treatment. It does wonders to my skin!
Make a video about products with azelaic acid that you recommend from budget friendly to the fancy ones
I’d love your thoughts on revolution beauty’s skincare range - they seem to have directly copied a lot of the ordinary’s product lines!
yes I would love a video about that, especially since I can't afford most of the products she usually mentions
Yeah good molecules has a similar vibe too and price range so i would be interested to see how they compare
My skin, while acne prone and horrible all-over, never has breakouts, only once when I used benzyl peroxide. Revolution salicylic acid toner ruined my face, literally. I do not recommend! Never had a breakout like that, and it was not purging.

I would love it if you reviewed products from e.l.f. - especially the vitamin C serum and the fragrance free moisturizer!
So excited for this!! Please do a pt 2!!!
I’m so relieved at your review of the Niacinamide! I just hated it- it’s gritty and greasy, and if I put anything on top of it, like a moisturizer or sunscreen, it pills horribly and peels right off. I’ll give the Paula’s choice a chance!
The squalene cleanser is perfect if you dont want to strip your skin...especially dry skin. It is my go to during my morning shower.

Most underrated : Marine hyaluronics and argan oil.
Love the marine hyaluronics! It's do light

This is excellent!! Can't wait for part 2!

I enjoyed your presentation on The Ordinary and you helped me reduce the # of items in my cart before I made my first purchase.
I'm one of those folks who had a bad experience. The niacinamide serum caused a horrific sensitivity that took ages to heal. My face burned and stung and turned red when I used my basic, plain moisturizer. The only thing I'm still interested in trying is the peptide serum.
It's amazing how many people seem to have had horrible reactions to that product! Have you tried any other niacinamide products?
@@LabMuffinBeautyScience I've since tried CeraVe PM and EltaMD UV Clear which have 4% and 5% niacinamide (I think) and haven't had any issues.

And also NIOD please as an addition to The Ordinary product line please~
I’m also that redhead. 👩🏻🦰☺️😉
Loved this video! Please make a part two about The Ordinary!
OMG DO MORE OF THE SERUMS BY THE ORDINARY AND DO THE INKEY LIST TOO PLEASE❤️❤️❤️❤️ I love both of these brands so much.
Hello. I would like to see a video talking about the rest of the product you have tried and about the Inkey List. And whatever other bands you want to review.
Ordinary is not officially distributed or sold in my country, but even for the side info on the ingredients and formulations it was a good watch, as always!
I really like and appreciate your presentation in your videos. You are to the point, clear and concise. You don't waste time trying to deliver your message with cute or clever jokes. I appreciate that! And you're believable too. I feel like I want to try the things you like and not try the ones you don't because I can tell you put a lot of time and effort into your content. I'm a new subscriber!
Thank you for the context on the brand! I didn’t really know why they could be so hit and miss. It makes a lot more sense now.
That was really informative 👍 The Inkey List nxt please 🙏
Hey Michelle could you make a video that looks at critical thinking and how one could make decisions based of a scientific analysis. Love your videos and I could watch you talk all day.
I only started watching you recently and I was looking for this video! And I finally found it and it only just occurred to me that it's brand new! :D thank you!
I’d love to see analysis of Spoiled Child skincare products. Thank you for excellent content!
my absolute favourite product from them is the aminoacids+b5 serum.
Yes, please! The rest of the Ordinary and would love to hear about Inkey List. Thank you!!!!
Awesome video!!!! Now the same about the Inkey List :)
I love the Buffet, lactic acid and azelaic acid (just because of how it looks on the skin).
