This was my wife's and my song. They told my wife and I, we wouldn't make it 6 months. We had 37 glorious years before she passed away 4 years ago this coming June 19th
So sorry 🙏🏼 for your loss. I'm sure you will meet her again some day.
She recently just came back. For a while she lost her voice to getting lyme disease from a damn tick while riding her horse. It caused alot of damage to her voice and she worked really hard to get her voice back. How this is her after all that hard work :) Shes such an Icon.

This has to be the single most spectacular entrance I've ever seen! I love Shania's voice when she sings in these lower keys. Also she would have been 49 or 50 when this was recorded. The horse is amazing as well! its no small feet for a horse to keep calm in that kind of environment. ..... Edit I just rewatched the original video of this and I see that Shania is BAREFOOT!! if you've ever worked with horses and had one stand on your foot you know just how gutsy that is.
Shania ruled the late 90ies and early 2000s. But - she is still „the one“! She just made a stunning appearance a few weeks ago, in her late 50ies - and still stunning! She‘s really come far!
Shania spent a long time unable to sing due to heartache and I think it was Lionel Richie that helped her back - there was a documentary and you can find the recording of Endless Love by the two of them on You Tube. A tough life but such a beautiful spirit.
Her inability to sing was caused by Lyme disease and dysphonia. Lionel helped her discover that her voice had changed...but was not gone.

My wife and I had tickets to opening night of Shania's comeback in Las Vegas. We were within about 10-11 feet of the stage. Amazing show. When she got off the house and walked away... Oh my. I hope it doesn't get spooked. Of course it didn't. What a fine horse.
I saw her at Hershey , she took time to engage with the crowd, a little girl had a birthday, they pulled her up, sang happy birthday to her, took a Polaroid with her. True performer

This is my first time seeing this video, and I'm a little amazed.
Around the 7:00 mark, the horse seems to be getting a bit nervous... but Shania seems to see it, and calms the horse down herself. From that point her attention is on the horse, while still singing beautifully.
Without a bit, without a guide rope. That is an amazing relationship between them showing absolute trust both ways in those moments.
Shania is one of those singers that can even get the boys scream singing her songs from the top of there voice and have no regret doing so in public without being embarrassed

You need to check out some of her original videos. Shania was a force in the 90s and then went through some personal tragedies only to come back as amazing as ever. A beautiful singer and a beautiful person.

Unpopular opinion by some....and dont get me wrong, I love Shanias voice and performances. However, she was definitely part of the end of real country music. So sad she felt that she had to cave into what was thought popular at

This song turned out to be incredibly ironic - her husband, music producer Mutt Lange, turned out to be cheating on her with her best friend. Shania left him and ended up marrying bestie's ex-husband a few years later. So hopefully it works out for Shania and husband #2.

That we would never work. This June, we are celebrating our 20th and I'm going to surprise him with this song. I'm so excited, but still not gonna lie, can't believe we made it this long and going strong.
