Shania was so popular at this time that she put out the same full album twice. "Up" was her fourth album released on November 19, 2002, a Red & Green CD was put out to her large crossover fan base. One was full Country & the other was POP/Rockish, same 19 songs with different sounds. This video was from the POP/Rockish version. She's a huge talent!!

I think it's cool to note that "Up!", and its associated videos, are the first time we see Shania Twain doing her thing as a new momma.
I remember the pop version was the one released in Europe first for some reason. I had to wait to get the country version, which I think is better.
@@Gazer75 Both have good sounds, it's just a matter of taste. I had the Pop version. Actually I think I bought the country one first an then exchanged it for the Pop one.

The first song I heard from her back in January of 1995 on the radio was “who’s bed have your boots been under” from her second album, which hit number 11 on the billboard country chart.
She was actually born Eileen Regina Edwards. And changed her name to Shania, which is said to come from a Ojibwa word meaning something like “here she comes” “she’s on her way” or something similar. Twain was the last name of her step-father, who was full-blooded Ojibwa Native American I believe.
Anyway there is a little trivia for you.
Britt I'd suggest doing a reaction to interviews of Shania. When you see her interact with various interviewers & talk-show hosts I think you'll even appreciate her even more!
I saw her in concert, she had endless energy! Her whole album Come On Over, I used to play in the car on repeat!
Come on Over is also the best selling album by a solo female artist of any genre.
The first time I saw this video,I don't think I blinked for the first two minutes. She is a badass who makes music that's fun and playful. She will forever hold the record for country female artist.

Shania (born Eileen) grew up in Canada.
She got Lyme disease and suffered from such debilitating insecurities and stage fright that she stopped performing for over 15 years. This, after her husband, MEGA Producer Mutt Lang left her for her best friend. So she married her best friend's husband. Lol.
She continued writing songs all during that down time. She has just in the last year, re-emerged and is performing again!

I remember seeing this - some awards show. Vince Gill joked because her figure was so fabulous (this was soon after her son’s birth) and he had had a yoyo time with his own weight. She’s amazing and Vince is a sweetheart!

She explained the video in an interview once ... lyrically, the song is about a future with someone that you want... and the robots are futuristic .. so lyrically about a future relationship and is visually a futuristic video .. by-the-way her designer is Mark Bower. He has assisted with her wardrobe in 9 videos including this one. And also the award shows too

Not only is her appearance stunning as Ms Wolfe alluded to but the video showcases her beauty, elegance, and gifted vocal skills as well or better than any of her many hit videos. A must see video by a great entertainer.
Her life wasn't always glamours, growing up she put her dreams aside and took care of her younger siblings. She didn't ever think she would make it to big stage with Record tables . She was happy to be a hack up singer for Allison Krause; witch is awesome singer you should check her out
