@@BriansgateAwesome!! I picked up my bike last summer and I am totally addicted to this machine. I got the blacked out DCT model, which color did you get? I did some modifications however, but it looks amazing and I get a lot of compliments about it. Did you start out in Rain Mode?!? Enjoy your new bike and stay safe out there! I just put mine away for the winter unfortunately. ☹️👍

@@RollWithSoul317 I got the gray, manual transmission, been riding it for, what, i think right at 3 months now? Yes, I started in rain mode, on the backroads to avoid most traffic, but in the three months I've gotten very comfortable with it. usually ride in Standard mode. Thankfully I live in an area that I don't have to stow it for the winter. Granted I only get to ride it about once a week, but, still better than nothing! stay safe!

Nice video! I took the license test on a DCT model in Massachusetts. Practiced some 8 figures and circles for the first time in my life the day before the exam and passed. That tells the bike isn't difficult to handle.

LOL, it also says the state motorcycle license tests are a joke. I took the MSF course riding around a parking lot to get a license. But that didn't prepare me of the urban jungle. Thankfully I made it through my first 3,000 miles and it was learn by doing, trail and error. I like the Rebels since they are very forgiving but riding is more a state of the riders mind.

I hope that you are still enjoying your bike as much as I am enjoying mine!?! I picked my blacked out DCT last summer for a steal at a local dealership! I am addicted to this awesome machine! Now if I could only stop 💸 buying gear for my Wife and myself, plus accessories for the bike!?! 😂 👍

That bike is going to be huge for a lot of people as it weighs over 500 pounds. Great bike but no one needs 1000cc to start out.

+1. have had my rebel 1100 now for 3 weeks (my first ever bike). 2 first weeks drove in rain mode... now upgraded from rain mode (P1, T3, EB1, D1) to my current user mode (P2, T3, EB1, D2) and I must say, that although raid mode was good enough for first 2 weeks... had I known, I would have made the rain mode copy to user mode with D2 as recommended beginner mode. P2 would be then be the next step to upgrade the user mode when you feel comfortable enough.

In 5 month you will by in normal, my favorite. Sport is good but makes the throttle a bit too twichi as it tends to stay in 4th like it should, honds needs to come with some software mode to eliminate throttle sensativity, spacialy at high speed, they can do this on software called adaptive throttle.

Great video! My Rebel 1100 DCT arrives next week. Been on a Can Am Ryker 900 trike the past few years. It jumps like a startled horse as soon as you twist the throttle the slightest bit, so I'm sure I'll be rockin sport mode within a few weeks. Pumped!

There is a preload setting skini peoole, 1-2 turns, median fat 3 turns fat loke me 4 to 5 Turns, in my case i settle in 3 for huway amd 4 for bad roads. There. Also fron forks 1 turn for most folks or 2 depend how soft you want yoir hyway ride.

Es perfecta hombre, vuela vahito y responde con ganas. Sport mode es un poco selosa, no puedes comer mucha m con ella. Pero en normal es una seda. Con un exlscape directo me dejo sin plabras. Suena agresiva como un buldog.

Nice ride up Ogden canyon. It's been awhile for me.
I think the wors beginner needs more clarity....some folk already ride bicycles and eBikes and have a good feel in 2 wheels but they haven't ridden a motorcycle should they be classified beginners?? (That's me by the way)
I have met other True beginners who have little 2 wheel experience of any kind.
Who do I lobby to have a new classification added?
