That bike is going to be huge for a lot of people as it weighs over 500 pounds. Great bike but no one needs 1000cc to start out.

Thanks for the video, I was looking at these online because the amount of bike you get for the price is way more than anything else on the market for me. But after watching the video I think it might be too small. I'll have to test ride it to be sure but it looks like a mini bike with you on it. Im 6feet and 240 with 34 inseam.

im 6ft 230lbs. Probably the max size for the bike. I hunch over juuuuust slightly but i actually love that feeling. I like that this bike feels a little small. Its very sporty for a cruiser and feels like it when i ride mine. Love my bike!

You're driving your motorcycle like it's a car :). You can wait much longer before you shift. Not sure about the Rebel but the scout will happily pull you all the way to 8k RPM. You don't need to shift so early.

Ciao.

I wanted a more comfortable seating position for long rides. It was honestly mostly because I moved from the city to the country and my rides got a lot longer.

The only type of wobble that I've seen confirmed. At speed of around 80 mph when in sport mode, heavy accel to max speed. I'm talking full twist. The front tire lifts when the soft rear digs in. It just seems to make the front end light. People with saddle bags seem to have a worse effect. Though compared to all other speed wobbles of every other bike I've watched. This is nothing. Not sure if the newer models still have the same problem. But new tires and upgraded suspension removed their issue.

A lot of comments on torque vs hp … hp is simply a calculation of torque vs rpm, when you see torque figures given without reference to rpm it’s not a very useful metric. An engine making 40ft/lbs of torque at 10,000rpm is making a crap load more horsepower than an engine making 60ft/lbs at 2,000rpm. The engine making 40ft/lbs at 10,000rpm would be making more than triple the horsepower compared to the engine making 60ft/lbs at 2,000rpm at those reference points. In generic terms an engine making higher torque low in the rpm range basically means it’s hitting its peak hp lower in the rpm range at the sacrifice of potential higher peak hp at a higher rpm range. It’s obviously way more complicated with stroke vs bore, rotational mass, scavenging, frictional loss, induction/valving etc etc etc but Torque x rpm divided by 5252 = hp. You’ll notice on a dyno graph that the torque and hp figures cross each other at 5252 rpm’s…

Hola !!
