For mold: In any garden sprayer (Lowe's, Home Depot) ... 1/3-1/2 bleach, 1/2 water and a tablespoon of dish washing liquid. Spray and let sit for 4+ hours... should see it disappear... then just rinse. (I have to do it every year on my Sunbrella full enclosure.) Also works great on the decks, especially non skid. (I keep a garden sprayer on board and filled all the time)

That woodpecker cost us a lot of damage, time and money on our wooden masts. At one point, if it was not killed, we could of lost our entire rig and then our cruising dreams would’ve been over. “Cool” was maybe not the right word to use I can admit but I do think it was interesting to see the remains of a bird that cost us hundreds and hundreds of dollars worth of repairs… plus it was put there by the yard men to warn off other wood peckers which ended up working very well and to that I think it’s cool.
