Beginning around 28:32 Kenna had such a look of pride, describing the arrival... Well earned, guys! It certainly looked cinematic, with volcanos thrusting up from the mists. Can't wait to do that! Until then I'm adventuring through your TH-cam, so thanks for that.
Awesome episode. Voice overs are fantastic. Appreciate all the work u are putting into this. Still waiting for some surf 🏄🏽♂️ content as u go by so many good spot. Haha. Get on it. 😜
Sadly the weather hasn’t been the best in Central America this far, and sadly most of the good anchorages are far from the good surf . Hopefully this weather switch’s for us soon 😊
Well, I've said it before and, I'll say it again. I'm so happy for you guys to live life on your terms and at your ages. You have done so well and I know days are not always easy but, I do believe the really good days make up for those drastically bad days ! And, Sitka looks really good ! Great video and you are significantly south ! It's nice to have a third hand onboard. As you might be able to tell, I'm very excited for you. Please do not try to cheat on Mother Nature because you can not beat her ! Just be careful and sail smartly as you have thus far. Keep Jay's garage alive and Kenna's poetry coming at us ! Take care you guys......
@@user-retsailor Thank you so much for the kind words. We are extremely grateful to be able to experience this at our age. The highs definitely out weight the lows in this lifestyle, sometimes it is good to to remind ourselves of that during prolonged low periods 😊
Hurricane John dumped a massive amount of water in the sate of Oaxaca and Guerrero, just north-west of where Sitka sailed out of, a couple of weeks before you headed to Nicaragua. That might explain all the plastic seen out of Puerto Chiapas? Again, an excellent episode! I appreciate the few teasers put on Facebook, from the different activities done while visiting.
@@mariocharette140 That would make a lot of sense . The plastic sighting always lined up with a River mouth dumping itself in the ocean. Thank you Mario , hope everything is going great on your end .
This actually worked for me when we sailed down the Oregon coast!! Unfortunately pickles are a hard find down here or a certain expensive find 😂 Thanks for watching!
Just so you know, for when you become an adult, putting your hand in front of the camera is for pre-teens. Possibly stretching to a 15 year old. Definitely not beyond that. Unless, is your target audience in the 10-12 year old demographic? Or did you need to take the blue bus to school and wear a helmet the whole day?
@sailingavocet Have a goat farm. I raise goats. The name isn't much of a stretch. And doesn't change the fact that some people act like children thinking the fad from 5 years ago is somehow cute.
@@goatman3828 Maybe you should go tend to your herd since you are so bent out of shape over a silly little transition in a video. I would rather act like a child having FUN than a cranky old man who has nothing to do besides pick on people on the internet and insinuate that people are mentally challenged. Now THAT is some pure irony.
7-8min mark, your narration and stunning shots made magic. So real, so authentic...amazing job guys at bringing the value
Thank you very much! That’s such a kind comment, leaves us wanting to create more. Appreciate it ⛵️

@@sailingsjofagel Thats usually how long it takes Kenna , sadly most passages are 3 days and under 😂

You made it! No good to sail off at 40-45 degrees and beat into that headwind? Take to long?
@@Sv_SeaDuctress If we didn’t have a time constraint for entering the River it would of definitely been better to just sail and tack our way there.
Try eating strong dill pickles to help with sea sickness
