I grew up in a small town of Kapoho on the big island of Hawaii this video reminds me so much of what I used to do as a kid in the 80’s …miles of beach by myself swimming in tidal pools, exploring every nook and cranny of the coast line and the little bay…. until in 2018 lava flowed into that area and completely destroyed, the little town our home and the bay are used to swim in. There’s literally no trace of it left.
Sorry for you...I also grew up in a small sleepy town with a lot of nature, the borders were closed then ( iron curtain). Now they took away our pond and beach, building big hotels for tourists, the little houses are gone, just big ugly buildings, big shopping centers, a lot of traffic, many refugees, many tourists..only noise day and night. I miss my beautiful small town, where you could sleep with open windows, hearing frogs and crickets. They destroyed all the nature around just for money.🙄

A lovely adventure in a beautiful, maritime environment. However, living life to the fullest requires a community of like-minded individuals. We are relational beings and cannot be happy without good relationships. Lone wolves only exist alone until they find a pack to be in.
Garrett your adventures give me inspiration on how to keep pursuing my dreams! It gives me a connection that somehow I will make it to the Caribbean and have an adventure!

Absolutely legend, man.
There are so many so wonderful places on this Earth. Thanks for sharing.
Someone sure put a lot of work and time into building that beautiful hut there on the island.
Thanks for the video Garrett. Very beautiful place. Great you could share it with us.
You’re one of the GOATs, young sir.
Not at all, but thanks for the nice comment!
ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS!! ❤ Fantastic video! Thank you! 👍
Good thing you have a GoPro. If you were a sailor in the middle ages you would have to write "and it was pretty cool" in your journal
How perfect! I could easily live alone, live in that environment.
Oh heck ya i love this guy
Don’t know why don’t care, love that statement. Wish I could say that at 56 years old. That’s awesome. One day I will.
Garrett: We were a group of scuba divers taking a trip to Palau ... long story short, Survivor was filmed on one of the atolls ... They constructed a building much like what you came across.
Reminds me of my two years in Vava'u Tonga. No boat, no dingy, but lots of Islands!!! Safe sailing Garrett!!!
I plan to make a stop there on the way to Fiji. Thanks!
I absolutely love your videos and am so proud of you, Garrett! Well done, you! Thanks for sharing. I am filled with joy and admiration as I watch you on your journey. Godspeed! 🙂🙏🩵
Garrett this is fantastic. What a great adventure with nature. Plus the water is full of great food . To find that pre made hut for shelter is a huge bonus. I want to do this. Enjoy yourself & keep posting, Thanks 👍🏆😎☀️🚤
