Our host, The Crafsman, has become a positive influence in my board gaming group. My brother introduced me to him a few weeks ago and his calm demeanor and chill approach has started showing up in our casual conversation. He makes ever project seem approachable and even shows his “failures” and makes me feel positive about mistakes being ok. That’s one person we all need in our circle.

I found Crafsman just by looking for tutorials on action figure customizing which is one of my main interests. I don't know why the TH-cam algorithm chooses one channel or the other to be on the top of these searches but I'm glad that Crafsman is trying to uplift other people in the hobby.

Crafsman, you've helped me more than you will know. Your videos have been a calming comfort to me nursing my Mum. She is in hospital at the moment. We are told she has a brain tumour and have spent the last two weeks at her bedside. We commute for 3 hours a day to go to the city to see her. I have come up from the country to support my Dad. I'm away from my wife. One of the hardest things to do is stop my mind from racing at the end of the day when I need to rest. a week back I decided to watch some of your old videos to help me wind down. Many I have already watched multiple times. But no matter how much I watch them they always make me smile. Can't wait to check out your friends videos. From Memphis Tn area. Grew up with my dad and paps doing it that way. I live in the Chicago area now and get some looks when I throw it together.
I always assumed that was a "south thing". In my 55 years, the only other place I ever heard of it was in an old Barbara Mandrell song.

His channel looks awesome! Thanks for the recommendation! I started my channel around the same time he did and about a month ago a larger channel gave me a shoutout. Their subscribers took the time to come over and leave tons of nice comments on the video and it meant the world to me. At the same time, my first video ever started getting traction 3 months after posting so I don't think it was a coincidence. A burst of engagement does a lot for a small channel even if it just inspires them to keep at it. Really cool of you to give him the shoutout and for all your loyal subscribers to go leave a nice comment! Lets get him some good algorithms going.
