You wouldn't be disappointed going with the Retro-Cade. All around, it's a much better quality of a build. I say that because I own both and can clearly see the difference. From a gaming standpoint, you'd be satisfied either way, but if I had to choose only one, then I'd go Retro-Cade.

Man this looks great! Definitely love some Killer Instinct. This has so many good games playable on a dime. I got that many games to play though on various systems etc that having this too I'd need another lifetime to play thru this as well haha. I got N64, ps3, ps2, pc, handheld, an MK II arcade 1Up cabinet, Steam, I'm getting back into making Duke Nukem 3D maps with Mapster32 At the moment. Getting thru lots of tutorials though writing down a ton of stuff. Have to remember all those different buttons for what does what. Im looking forward to Death Stranding 2 right now and the MGS3 Remake and MGS Master Collection Volume 1.

If you were to purchase a cab, they have an Arcade One Facebook group that has a link to download + how to install new titles. Or you could send in your drive, and they'll update it for you and send it back. You just have to pay for the hardware.
I loved your arcade cabinet 'cause it's mega fat and mega cool! just like the tv and movies screens are big, the screen of the cabinet is very wider as inmagine.

MAME, SNES, and a lot of other games are played in their original aspect ratio of 4:3. If you were to make it to where the games were full screen, it would be stretched and wouldn't look the greatest. That's if I'm not mistaken.

I just brought this same unit from Josh and Eric. I have a few different artwork suggestions and a surprise piece for the control panel. Any suggestions or anything we should know about this unit. Also they're asking to do pictures and videos to post. Good dudes I'm excited to get it.
Customizing this same exact build on their website will put you @ around $13.9k give or take. As for the Shar-kade, I still use it and have some more things in the pipeline to showcase on it.
Well, that all depends on what you're going for. If you want an arcade experience, that's more budget friendly and portable, I'd say the Shar-Kade. If you desire to have a 4-player arcade with a 50-inch screen, I'd say go Retro-Cade. The Shar-Kade has more PS3 & PC titles than both the RetroCade & Megacade. As for retro & older consoles (SNES, Genesis, NES, etc), they're similar.
It didn't feel off to me while I was playing. But I do get what you're saying while watching it back over....after double checking, the guns are tracking as they should. Not sure what was going on with Lethal Enforcers.
Awesome machine!! I was just about to purchase a mega case until I watched this video. I understand the retro cade comes disassembled? Was it easier to get it in your house and move it vs the megacade? Any difficulties assembling it?
We ship our machines fully assembled on a pallet. The top half can be easily removed to make it very manageable going up and down steps. Let us know when you’re ready and we’d love to build you one.
