An extremely good video highlighting the pros and cons of both builds. EHA definitely needs to step up their game now that others are coming along and building much better cabinets.
I want to give a big shoutout to David and the team at Extreme Arcade. They're true pioneers in the home arcade game industry. With their incredible product and regular updates I’m running on a 3080 card on my machine, so I think it's important to highlight that the Megacade is not limited and can be upgraded. Competition only fuels greatness, ensuring that we, as consumers, will continue to see even better products from all companies in the future. I'm thrilled that Extreme Arcade is still thriving and providing updates because staying afloat in this industry is no small feat. RetroCade looks absolutely insane! 🎮🚀 Great Job on the Video DThomas
Yes, the Megacade can be upgraded. It'd be great to have a 3080 in my Megacade. You're right about the competition though. It's healthy and keeps companies on their toes. In the end, customers win because they get the best possible product that's best for them. EHA is still doing their thing. But there's room for everybody to eat. The Retro-Cade's engineering is unique and what they've created makes their machine Standout. Good points though. 😊
@@dthomasfromnc your 100% right. I have a machine from EHA and Sharkade and just got a custom PC from RetroBeast. I’m not on your level but I’m waiting for what Retro-Cade can do on a pedestals. I’m a fan and I appreciate you dropping the content.
Great content D! I've read the comments bro. People have to realize that no one can stay on top forever. I'm glad competition exist. It's just keeps the industry improving and we all win at the end of the day no matter what arcade machines we buy. Keep that 🔥🔥 content coming bro!
I love this type of content!!! Also, thanks for your love, friendship and continued support! Such great production value in all of your videos and this one is no different!
WOW! This video was straight 🔥🔥🔥! I absolutely LOVE the production value for your 'boxing match' with the announcing, the machines face-to-face, you as the ref, the 'Round 1' cards and the announcers! BRILLIANT! Your videos never disappoint, but you took this one to the next level! Well worth the time and effort on that intro! Props DT! I am in the process of getting my own pedestal with Retro-Cade and EHA as two of the top contenders on my list, so this video is perfect timing for me! In my opinion, the drawer on the Retro-Cade is a system seller! That drawer is slick, I got to see that in person at a Pinball Expo and it was just as cool as advertised! I also really enjoyed the detail that you went into on the lighted acrylic top as well, I will need to look into that option for sure! I really appreciate your honest opinion as both machines would be fantastic to have, but both don't come cheap, so all of these little comparisons, details and opinions that you go into are very much appreciated and help people decide what matters most to them! Carlos at Arcade-One does a FANTASTIC job with his Hyperspin build as people can check out on my channel if they are unfamiliar as I have a lot of videos on the Arcade-One, which is what is being rocked in the Retro-Cade, but the newest Big Box Omega build is sounding really good as well, unfortunately I haven't had a chance to try it out, but would definitely like to if the opportunity presents itself! Thank you for the fantastic content that you have provided over the years! You are one of the pioneers in the Home Arcade Gaming space on TH-cam and an inspiration to me and my channel! Seeing your channel grow and build up to his massive face-off video is a joy to see! I can't wait to see what is next for you DT! Congrats on the FANTASTIC video!
Thanks bro! I always want to give my viewers the best possible content. This video was fun to film. I had a blast producing it. But the editing was the most time consuming part. I'm honored that my vids inspire you. I have some other tricks up my sleeve that I can't wait to share with you guys.
I prefer a bigger control panel as in the Megacade's because it looks cooler, is not as close to your face especially when your vision changes at age 40, and gives you more elbow room too.
Screens are now cheap, I would change out the Megacade screen to a 120hz screen from TCL or Hisense and clone the harddrive of the Retrocade and move it over to the megacade. A new videocard is cheap now RTX 4060 or RTX 3070 . Both are highly upgradable to future tech. The labor and cost really just go the the cabinet design. Love all your videos.
One thing that stands out in this comparison for me is the time that these 2 machines were built is a few years apart. I own a Ultimate Pedestal from EHA (less than 2 months old) and can really tell much much they have improved in wiring, space management, and over all build quality minus wraps, can't speak on that. The wrapping on the retrocade is def better hands down visually though. The bubbling issues is the reason I avoided a wrap and just got a gloss black finish which I love. TV quality keeps jumping too, which is also a reason I went with a pedestal so I can switch out later on with ease. This is a great video, I just wish we could see a comparison with your effort (stellar, funny, and top notch production) with a more current build from EHA!
You're right about the comparisons. Putting an updated Megacade (or Megacade XL) in the ring with the Retro-Cade would be dope to see (and film). I'd love to see the differences and who'd come out on top with that fight. 😊
Hey Broseph, first time TH-cam suggested your channel to me and I want you to know how much I enjoyed your video! It's really cool and watchable. I think the most important thing for broadcasters in any medium is to have the ability to just be yourself and furthermore sound like an old friend your viewers could have a beer and a chat with. Love your enthusiasm too. Really nice job man, keep up the great work. Best wishes from the Scottish Highlands!
Thanks for sharing, my thoughts about arcade cabinets should be more focused on actual Arcade systems, TeknoParrot, TaitoTypeX, Naomi, Sega, the lastest MAME and so on. Having switch, PC games, and other consoles is great and all but I think we are getting away from what an Arcade cabinet is truly meant for. You could use the same PC setup as a console with your gamepads and play from the couch on your 85" TV for all the console emulation. I just like to keep it simple thats all
This was epic. And I can’t agree more. As a newly minted Retro-Cade owner, the reality is simple- it’s an incredible machine, and the company is ran by two great dudes. The craftsmanship and design of the cab itself is the absolute best on the market. Awesome review, man! This video was well worth the wait. Retro-Cade is the Champ
Great video man! I've always said you are one of the realest content creators on the net. You tell like it is and shill for no one. You definitely put a ton of effort into this, and it shows. Keep up the good work.
Yo DThomas! This was such a fire video!!! I think the hardware goes to Retrocade, but the software is not even close! Your version of Omega is not up to date and has issues! Omega X is the most complete software out there by far! I give the nod to EHA for the software. If you add an active marquee, IL Eurosticks, gold leaf buttons, and an OLED TV… you got a better contest for sure… This was a dope video though and based off what you had on your Megacade… I agree with the results! Thanks for the Retro LAW support! You are an awesome TH-camr, but a better friend!!! Thank you! 🐺
Thanks bro! Always will show love and support you and Retro Law. I know my version of Omega is way outdated. Everything you mentioned I intend on doing to get the Megacade up to par. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks again for sliding thru. You definitely hold the top commenter spot on my channel. Gonna be hard for someone to take that title away from you. 😂
@@dthomasfromnc @Danielwolf6056 Yes that was fantastic seeing the plug for Retro Law at the beginning! Thank you so much! Very much appreciated! This video was EPIC! Appreciate all that you do for the Home Arcade Gaming community DT!
Isn't the Omega build community sourced and worked on by their customers and not something that EHA do themselves? I find that so very weird, their customers doing the work for them. If that is the case are they even able to provide support on something they didn't build themselves?
When comparing two arcade machines, customer service and support can indeed play a crucial role in your decision-making process. Look for factors such as warranty coverage, availability of spare parts, ease of contacting customer support, and responsiveness to inquiries or issues. That would be major factor for me personally, saying that spider man cabinet is fire!! Pure fire!
I agree! Both companies offer superb customer service & support after purchasing. But taking things like that into consideration will determine whether someone will move forward with their decision.
D I'm surprised you didn't mention that one was plug-n-play and one definitely was not. That's going to be a huge deciding factor for those in the market. But overall I enjoyed your video, Battle! Thanks for sharing!
I have been away from your channel for a while but I did catch up on some of the recent videos you have posted in the 2 months love your channel and always will you are a blessing to The gaming community in my opinion 🙏🙏🙏🙏
Man.... THIS is how you make an informed purchasing decision. I'm roughly half way through the video and you are meticulously covering EVERYTHING. Your overview and scrutinizing of both these units can be applied to other arcade cabinets, not just these 2 units. Very, very well done DTfromNC, I've learned what to look for and much more. Very useful video for someone getting an idea of what these "multicades" have to offer. Like you, I also prefer the bat tops! 🔥♥💪
Thanks man! I really appreciate that. I will add that the Megacade has some age on the Retro-Cade (like I mentioned in the video). Nevertheless, it's good to see these Titans go up against each other. Especially when the fans wanted to see it. I'm glad you're enjoying the video. Lemme know your thoughts once you've made it to the end. You agree or disagree? Fair fight or naah?
@@dthomasfromnc Your decision at the end is 100% spot on. For all the reasons I saw in your EXCELLENT video. The horsepower concerns with the Megacade - what's the sense of having the game if the hardware can't run it. Also very fair assessment indeed, you made the case throughout the video. I'm interested in something like this because my MK2 Arcade1Up (got some vids on my channel about it) gave me tons of hours bonding with my son. Your vid will help someone realize so many factors that can be overlooked. Like now I realize prob a good idea to steer clear of Raspberry Pi machines as the dedicated PC hardware's extra GPU power comes in handy. I'm not a super big retro gamer but I might just have to sub to your channel because I'm rarely so impressed with the content. I'm literally only subbed to like Mike's Unboxing and Mike Sytes here on TH-cam. Would love to build my own but I'm not a homeowner and don't have the space or the tools, but I'm sure I could do it otherwise. These multicades save hours of acquiring and configuring games.
@@dthomasfromnc I should add that I went to a local Arcade with my son recently for his birthday and they had a multicade standup there and damn it I want arcade version Missile Command at my house with trackball haha! SUBBED !
Awesome video!!!!!!!!! Hands down, Retrocade. Artwork, etc. Retro offer all Tekno Parrot and Raw Thrill games, has the arcade version of Jurassic Park? Keep up the good work, I like your lengthy videos, more informative. God Bless you and the family. Peace
Thanks! Yes, Retro has Tekkno with Raw Thrills. I think the Jurassic Park game is on there. I'd have to look to be sure. This is by far the longest running video on the channel to date. Glad you enjoyed it bro. Hope all is well with you and your family. Yall have a great weekend.
It should be noted that our systems have the latest Patreon Only TeknoParrot Games as well including the latest "The Walking Dead", "Jurassic Park - Raw Thrills", "Crazy Ride", "Cruis'n Blast", "Frogger", "Galaga Assault" - Again this is a rigged fight, 4 year old software versus a new machine at TWICE the COST to the MegaCade, Not a Fair Comparison in the least.
I got this video suggested randomly. This was an incredible video. I have wanted a megacade for a long time and now that is switching to a retrocade. I am blown away.
King Cade ultimate custom arcade machine beats Both of these and the owner has been getting pressure to start reproducing these arcades again which run a 110 terabyte hard drive with solidstate drive retrobeast system which is not cheap but can come in smaller drives. To keep dust out of the polycarbonate to artwork layer, without a tight fit around the edges from the small black screws, dust would get in between the layers and look awful. Poly is awesome for gloss and is part of our signature "look" but it needs the right hardware to make it function correctly. Compare everything, trust the company that has been in the industry for 21+ years now.
Yoooooooo as always you just know how to bring absolute fire content. This was so dope. Thanks for always bringing the heat and keep up the awesome work bro. Much love.
I have an 85in Samsung tv and I was thinking of getting the sharkade 2-in-1 pedestal, but I was wondering which one has the most games between sharkade and the retro-cade?@@dthomasfromnc
Watched your whole video from start to finish with a group of my friends. We all agree that retrocade seems better build overall. We all agreed that they could do these 6 things to make it better: 1. Have the TV turn on with the front switch. 2. Have the screen tilted back like the megacade. 3. Don’t make the full acrylic so dam expensive at $3,200 for the upgrade. 4. Flatten out sides that are sticking out next to 3rd & 4th player controller. 5. Maybe extend out the control deck so the players aren’t shoulder-to-shoulder when playing multiplayer games and so there is space to put drinks or cup holder. 6. Needs cooler screensaver/intro when starting up or not playing the arcade. 3 of us are considering purchasing but a few of these are dealbreakers. Btw, great video. Thank you for all your time and effort making this vid. Very informative and comprehensive!
@radioproph-essor1372 I think I mentioned in the video that the Megacade was an older build compared to the Retro-Cade, but still...it was fun to do the video and to compare these two machines. You don't have to have the acrylic, though. The machine is a solid build and none other like I've seen with other arcade machines. The sliding door on the kickplate, the hidden accessory drawer, and the built-in steam deck. All unique in their own right. Retro-Cade builds their elite machines slightly differently from the build I currently have. What you listed to "make it better," I'm sure they'd do for you. In the event you & your friends purchase a machine, be sure to let them know or use the code DTHOMASFROMNC & save $500 on an elite build. Hope you enjoyed the video. Thank you guys for watching.
Watched the intro and verdict and boy that was clever!👏🏾👏🏾 bravo my boy! #RetroCade for the win!! Rossi P.S. going back to watch it all later but from what I can see it’s detailed to the “T”! Let’s go!

It’s not even close aesthetically, Retro-Cade blows it away!!!!!! Arcade-one inside just gives it the beating heart it deserves!!! WINNER=RETRO-CADE!!!!!
The Retrocade is almost perfect CRT quality, I don't see no pixels and the scanlines are perfect. I still will not sleep on the megacade, I still watch those videos.

Retrograde by far is the better bye and better machine I have a Megacade I will tell you I enjoy the mega, but for what options you get on retro cade, and the quality as well as the PC and upgrades you get way better machine retro, cade
I love this video! I will have to watch the rest of it later (Got about 25 mins into it so far) but I love the Retro-Cade. I bet it costs more just by the looks of everything and the touch screen control panel. You are right about the edge by players 3 & 4 though. If I could ever afford anything like this, I'd get one with the flush sides, not the ones with the lip. Great stuff, @DThomasFromNC! Watching my 3rd video of yours tonight. This one! :D
@lwbrink thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed the video. The 2-player Retro-Cade starts @ $2,500 while the 4-player starts @ $6,900. Once you add all the bells & whistles, the price goes north. I have a lot vids on my channel and more on the way. I hope you continue to watch. I appreciate it.
The cabinet in this video is an older model and does not. We are currently revamping our products and expanding the line to include all kinds of exciting features and new products. I won’t release details here but give us a call. You won’t be disappointed.
Great tutorial to demonstrate the differences. Options and build quality go to Retro but in terms of from factor I would go with Extreme. It seems like the added control board size gives more room to comfortably rest your hands while playing and the screen location isn't so much in your face. DT - do you notice any difference in eye fatigue when comparing them? That could be the deciding factor IMO based on how each CADE is positioned for playing/viewing. Thx!
Thanks! As far as eye fatigue, I don't notice while gaming. I will say that the larger control panel on the Megacade does give you a few inches away from the screen. But you get the same viewing distance on the Retro-Cade gaming while sitting down. So I think it comes down to personal preference.
What kind of subs are those? I was debating on the retro add or a Sharkade. But with the shipping it probably would be the more since he is in the UK. I was debating on the full acrylic until I saw this video. The only thing I’m doing differently with it is I’m building the pc myself with retro beast drives as I think he has the best build in the business. That Spider-Man theme is tough
Like the way you brought it up.I thought after you showed the retrocade for the first time that you got rid of “hq megacade”!It shows both offer a lot of good and there’s still room for improvement. My winner 🏆 would be the (Spider-Man)Retrocade.Talking about gaming on an island 🏝️ besides the retrocade, clothes, food and facilities is what I like to add😂
Thank you for releasing this video. The first part of the video I was thinking to myself, I can get around the power button, TV ETC by simply requesting something better from Extreme home arcades but what finally made me decide Retro cade was the one is when you got to the game play. Reto-cade seems to just play games better and thats what its all about

You’re comparing an $8000 megacade to a $16000 retrocade. There are so many upgrade that EHA offers that you don’t have and don’t even mention. Also the fact that EHA offers a completely custom experience is not something to overlook. I’m sure things like artwork bubbling has been solved over the last couple years. Great video, but there’s a lot you’re missing to make it a fair fight.
@@dthomasfromncSimply compare it to an EHA machine with similar specs, built at the same time that costs the same. If you were to buy a brand new laptop and compare it to a laptop from 5 years ago that costed half as much, it wouldn’t compare at all, even a little bit. I feel like it’s also important to look at things like tech support and the community around them. These machines are super complicated and there’s always gonna be things to tinker with, so what company is there for you when you need help.
@@dthomasfromncI thought you were the community and customer support? I understand people saying the computer and front end has been updated in the last 5 years, but the cabinet is still the same. I think the only option your Megacade is missing is a neon circle. You’re actually missing more available options on the Retrocade than the Megacade. They just don’t offer as much at the base level or top end.
Thanks for the video DThomas. Awesome work! First of all, how do you have BOTH of these killer machines to even be able to make a vs. video like this? I’ve seen your review of the Megacade when you first got it and was hooked then, and planned on getting it. Then when I saw this comparison video, at first, I was ready to dismiss the Retrocade having already been sold on the Megacade. But after watching the whole video, I see where, for my preference, The Retrocade has the edge. (Although the Retrocade has no back!) My main focus on arcade machines like this are having ALL the cool retro games from my past, primarily the 80’s and 90’s on MAME. Don’t really need PC games or even most console games as I already have those on my consoles. Before I purchase, It’ll ultimately come down to which machine has more of the games I want. Question: how does a joystick become a 4-way from an 8-way simply by changing the game?? Thanks again.
😊I'm glad you enjoyed the vid bro. Both machines offer those retro 80s/90s you want to play from your past. Since budget/price isn't a factor, it comes down to aesthetics & which looks more pleasing to you. As for the 4-way to 8-way servo joystick, it automatically switches to that configuration when you select a game that requires 4-way directions like Pac-Man or Ms. Pac-Man. Then whenever you exit out of the gane, it goes back to its normal 8-way configuration.
Very easy just a matter of telling them what design you want. And there isn't a long 6 month wait or anything like that. You'd have your machine in weeks.
Amazing video man! I found you because of your XGC Vpin video. That thing is a dream! What do you think about the Beast Arcade maching XGC is making? Think it compares to the Retrocade?
Thanks bro! The Beast Arcade by XGC looks pretty dope! But the unique build that Retro-Cade has with the drawer for your accessories (light gun, controllers, etc) is by far the best in the arcade business in my personal opinion.
@dthomasfromnc I hear ya man. When I saw that accessory drawer, I actually said "woooow" 😯 That is sick. I just wish the retro-cade had i buttons for p1 and p2 for some Street Fighter 6 action. I wonder if they can customize that for me.
32 inch 2 player option seems good. Especially if you don't have space for a 4-player unit. I don't think it'd be difficult at all after owning a 50inch.
Best video so far bro, what was the prices of both your machine and how long did you have to wait on both machines. Can you ask Retro-Cade for any brand name tvs or even monitors, like: OLED LG or Asus 144hz Monitor.....Do you still enjoy your Arcade1Up Machines and play them much? Are they worth it......Keep the videos coming through
Thanks bro! Glad you enjoyed the vid. The Megacade (little over $7K) was cheaper than the Retro-Cade (over $12k+). Back in 2019, my wait time for the Megacade was around six months. For the Retro-Cade, the wait time was around four weeks. As for TV's with Retro-Cade, I don't see why you couldn't request a specific tv/monitor. I do still enjoy the Arcade1ups. Especially when my family or friends come over and they just want to hop on something quick like Street Fighter or Pac-Man. Definitely gonna keep the videos coming.
Really enjoyed the content. Just purchased a multicade pedestal from another vendor that's going to be great for awhile but may look at the retrocade in a pedestal format eventually. Starting to build a small home arcade but also want to have a few real pins (not the video ones) so that will be my next purchase
Gr8, no, GR9 video! I have a 4060 in my eha pedestal and it is indomitable. Once you add an expansion drive to keep up with new content, steering wheel, and gun4ir eha catches up. also the omega tm tilts the scales IMO, both gr8 products though. Ty dt.
Yo I forgot to ask (yea I’m rewatching it lol) how’s the community for both companies? Or is it just an overall “arcade group”? Like I know the conversations about the omega drive/ manhattan project is a thing for the (EHA) megacade but is there a separate group for people that own a retrocade ?
@dthomasfromnc Great video! Question, is your cabinet with the standard acrylic deck, RGB backlit acrylic top, or full acrylic deck? Keep up the great content!
@@dthomasfromnc Thanks! I am hoping to invest into a 4 player Retrocade cabinet or into a dual racing cabinet, in the coming months. I know the retrocade comes with the option of buying a FFB steering wheel but I have never seen it in action and how it gets set up. Do you by chance have/use a steering wheel or do you use a controller for your racing games? I am very curious about this. Thanks again!

I just received my new Megacade, still working out the buttons and how to navigate the screens...it's a learning process. I am impressed with what I purchased, one thing that is nice about the Megacade is the ability to have it fabricated in a 3 piece design which allows you to move it more easily...these things are heavy! I am not a huge gamer, I bought this for when we have friends and family come over, it's a great thing for spending time together. Dave and his crew at EHA were great to deal with, lead time on my machine was about 3 months.
Congrats on your new machine. It's awesome that you've had a great experience thus far. This will definitely draw the crowd of family and friends whenever they come over and want to play a few retro games to relive those glory days of gaming. Takes some getting used to. But once you've learned your way around the machine, it becomes easier to navigate.

No problem bro! Glad you enjoy the content. Preciate the love.
Being in the 40 club, I totally get it. 😂
WOW as I’m looking up retrocade videos for my lunch break 😂😂😂
Awesome timing!!!
Thanks! I really appreciate it. Great ways to upgrade with those graphics cards.
I purchased a Retro-Cade arcade and it's amazing!! Highly recommend them ☺️
Thats awesome! What design did you go with?
Hey Broseph, first time TH-cam suggested your channel to me and I want you to know how much I enjoyed your video! It's really cool and watchable. I think the most important thing for broadcasters in any medium is to have the ability to just be yourself and furthermore sound like an old friend your viewers could have a beer and a chat with. Love your enthusiasm too. Really nice job man, keep up the great work. Best wishes from the Scottish Highlands!
Aye, I really appreciate that. I'm glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks a lot for the love. Sending love back to you from North Carolina!!! 👍🏾
I love the Retrocade. Thats the winner for me. I had so many problems and issues with my Extreme Home Arcade and was too costly
Glad you're loving your machine. As an owner of both, you can speak on which is better in your own opinion. Thats solid!
I love the Retrocade. Now to see videos on TH-cam comparing the Retrocade vs Xtreme Gaming cabinets.
Now wouldn't that be a matchup😊
Yooo all these comments on the verdict and I'm over here like this editing took longer than GTA6
😂😂😂😂
This was an awesome comparison DThomas! I am impressed with both love the clean layout and details of the retrocade.
Thank you very much! I'm gladnyou enjoyed it bro.
Awesome machines. Love your content. I have the same problem as you. Always need more games
Thanks! 😂 It's a good problem to have. Glad you enjoy the content.
I just like to keep it simple thats all
Plug and play everyday, immersive colors, better sound quality it's retrocade for me! Stay blessed you and yours man !💯👊
Thanks! Be easy!!!
Cool video my dude!!! Both companies should get together and make an ULTRACADE!
Thanks bro! That would be cool, but doubt that'd ever happen. 😂
I'm glad you enjoyed the video & congrats on your machine.
Awesome video! Dual 10" subs seems overkill... In a good way 😉
Thanks bro! And those dual subs makes the room shake. 😂
Great video man! I've always said you are one of the realest content creators on the net. You tell like it is and shill for no one. You definitely put a ton of effort into this, and it shows. Keep up the good work.
Thanks! I really appreciate that. Glad you enjoyed the video. I'm gonna keep them coming.
My pleasure bro!!! You guys are awesome!!!
Yeah, that's something I probably could've mentioned and didn't think about until I saw this comment.
Which one is plug and play?
@@MarkJones-rq1fv Retro-cade
@@mbison8586 I'm curious to how difficult it is to use a megacade. How much work does it take to operate it? I'm on the fence between the two units.

Oooh now this is a matchup!!! Great job D!!
Indeed...thanks bro! 😊
Great Job DThomas! Very entertaining as always :)
Thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I have been away from your channel for a while but I did catch up on some of the recent videos you have posted in the 2 months love your channel and always will you are a blessing to The gaming community in my opinion 🙏🙏🙏🙏
I appreciate you catching up on my recent videos and the kind words. Hope you enjoy this vid.
You put so much work into these videos. Really awesome.
Thank you so much! 😁 Glad you enjoy them.
I got this video suggested randomly. This was an incredible video. I have wanted a megacade for a long time and now that is switching to a retrocade. I am blown away.

@k9willy424 you can unscrew the control panel itself and take it out. Yes, you'd be able to replace the buttons if need be.
Not sure why the used screws in the megacade, the buttons will hold down the plexi perfectly, that's how I built mine.
Guess it's all in the engineering. 🤷🏾♂️
To keep dust out of the polycarbonate to artwork layer, without a tight fit around the edges from the small black screws, dust would get in between the layers and look awful. Poly is awesome for gloss and is part of our signature "look" but it needs the right hardware to make it function correctly. Thanks! Decisions decisions 🤔
Watched your whole video from start to finish with a group of my friends. We all agree that retrocade seems better build overall. We all agreed that they could do these 6 things to make it better:
This is an older cabinet and we have actually address much of what you have said and a lot more. Give us a call. We’d love to help you out.

It's a premium build. You wouldn't be disappointed.
I love this video! I will have to watch the rest of it later (Got about 25 mins into it so far) but I love the Retro-Cade. I bet it costs more just by the looks of everything and the touch screen control panel. You are right about the edge by players 3 & 4 though.

Question, is the control panel accessible? Does it hinge open on the retro-kade? If you need to swap out buttons
The cabinet in this video is an older model and does not. We are currently revamping our products and expanding the line to include all kinds of exciting features and new products. I won’t release details here but give us a call. You won’t be disappointed.
What he said 👆🏼
Great tutorial to demonstrate the differences.
I'm glad you enjoyed the video. They both have something to offer. People will make the choice on what's best for their needs and what they like.
Thank you for releasing this video. The first part of the video I was thinking to myself, I can get around the power button, TV ETC by simply requesting something better from Extreme home arcades but what finally made me decide Retro cade was the one is when you got to the game play. Reto-cade seems to just play games better and thats what its all about
Yeah, it's all about having fun with gaming. Just have to decide which machine suits your needs best.

I don't disagree with what you're saying in regards to price comparisons. In your opinion, what would make this even a more fair fight?
@@dthomasfromncSimply compare it to an EHA machine with similar specs, built at the same time that costs the same.
If you were to buy a brand new laptop and compare it to a laptop from 5 years ago that costed half as much, it wouldn’t compare at all, even a little bit.
I feel like it’s also important to look at things like tech support and the community around them. These machines are super complicated and there’s always gonna be things to tinker with, so what company is there for you when you need help.
@Nick-fil-A I don't disagree. Makes sense to me. In the event of a rematch, I'd cover more like pricing, customer support, community, etc.

Was the customize process easy and how long did it take to arrive?
Very easy just a matter of telling them what design you want. And there isn't a long 6 month wait or anything like that. You'd have your machine in weeks.
Fire content 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥keep dropping them👍🏾
Gonna keep em coming
Were both machines fully upgraded from the websites before doing this comparison or are they both standard
At the time of purchasing my Megacade, it was at the highest specs. But that was in 2019.

I didn't know it would bubble up. Some bubbles are more visible than others.
Depending on what you want, I don't see why they wouldn't customize it for you. You'd clearly have a 1 of 1 machine that's for sure.
Would i be able to add my ps5 to the retrocade?
If you knew what you were doing, I don't see why you couldn't.
Damn I REALLY like the thorough breakdown. I’m getting both screw it 😅
@@mikenoise2135 😂😂😂
How much does the retro-cade cost? I love that one
Where can I get this games here in South Africa ?
They ship worldwide.
I need 4 of them how much can cost
Reach out to them via their website. They'll be able to let you know what they'll charge if you're buying four of them.
Can you send me their website please
I really interest about this
Great upload, can you get the retro-cade in the uk cheers
@@dotydale01 thanks! Yeah, you can get it in the UK.
@dthomasfromnc excellent do you know official website as I couldnt find it thanks as in uk website or will they ship over to me cheers
The link is in the description
I'm ready dt
Aight
@@dthomasfromnc all of yo videos be fire never miss
I love this!
Retrocade won by KO at the end of round 3.
😅 Being that the Retro-Cade is newer, you think the matchup was unfair?
What do you think about a 32inch option for the retro Cade ? Would it be hard after owning the 50 ? I really only need 2 players
32 inch 2 player option seems good. Especially if you don't have space for a 4-player unit. I don't think it'd be difficult at all after owning a 50inch.
I got my extreme home arcade game for 4 grand and it was only 2 years old so I’m happy.
@@kenswift12345 that's awesome! Congrats.
Great video D!
😁Glad you enjoyed it
Best video so far bro, what was the prices of both your machine and how long did you have to wait on both machines.
That's awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed the vid. 😁
Nice. Get another one w Retrocade vs EHA pedestal
@@chorezap roger that
Gr8, no, GR9 video! I have a 4060 in my eha pedestal and it is indomitable. Once you add an expansion drive to keep up with new content, steering wheel, and gun4ir eha catches up. also the omega tm tilts the scales IMO, both gr8 products though. Ty dt.
No prob! Spec wise the Mega is a bit outdated.
Hey! We have a great community where updates are posted and we hold weekly competitions!
They both have their own communities, which are solid in their own right.
How does the Retro-Cade handle guitar hero and Wii?
We have a wheel for both! Some configuration for the guitar hero, but it's a few minutes. The 4-players come ready to play Wii games
Pretty good
Retrocade all the way!!!
😁
What is the price for both units ????
Megacade around $7K & Retro-Cade like $14K
@@dthomasfromnc Ohh. I'm going to need one of the two to christen my new home when ever that is lol.
@dthomasfromnc Great video! Question, is your cabinet with the standard acrylic deck, RGB backlit acrylic top, or full acrylic deck? Keep up the great content!
Thanks! My unit has full acrylic. I'm gonna keep the vids coming.
@@dolemite8282 The overhang on our deck is designed for the G29 to clamp right to it. I do suggest a bar stool if you are using the pedals. It is a ton of fun. You can always call us if you have any questions.
The left side colors look accurate the right side looks way too blown out and redish
You are not wrong
How much is the Retrocade?
4-player starts @ $6900
How much did you spend on all your arcade cabs?
@ChrisB-x1i I'd have to tally'em all up. It's a pretty penny, though.
1:32:33 Definitely Retrocade, but they need to have 8 buttons for player 1 and 2.
Street fighter 6 is so much better with 8.
I don't disagree 😊
D Thomas gta 6 trailer looks so realistic ❤ got to have that game
Most definitely
