I upgraded from a 12 Mini to the 14 Pro but I hear the cameras were almost a downgrade from the 13 Pro. From everything I’m hearing the 15 Pro camera is a big improvement over anything Apple has put out before, I’m looking forward to the 5X camera coming to the standard size 16 Pro
I’ve currently moved from the iPhone 12 Pro to the 15 Pro Max and I’m contemplating returning it for the 15 Pro, just find it a little to big for my daily use. My average screen time is only around 2 hours a day, when I get home from work in the evening I’m using my iPad mini.
If you don’t think you’ll miss telephoto lens and you don’t use the phone a ton per day (for the improved battery life sake) I think the 15 pro is a perfect size and you’ll be happy with the downsize :)
I've held both in hand and yeah it basically just comes down to the form factor for me! I've been that way with all the Pro/Pro Max lineups haha always go for the Pro
I shoot in RAW for my photos so I def notice a drain. Typically I only have to charge it one extra time per day if I use it HEAVILY, but otherwise I end the day from a single charge around 10-20%. I will say just due to the nature of my job, i'm constantly checking socials and whatnot too which drains my battery a lot faster than an average user
@@rillotv Yes, if I shoot or video more, I will be more immersed in games, but if I press very little, it can endure. I shoot it in 4k 60fps, a video of three minutes in between, it dips 3-5 percent.Do you use MagSafe Power Bank for sunbathing? Sorry for all the questions, only this is my first iphon so far it was Android.
I change up the background pretty regularly just depending on my mood. I've turned off always on though as I kinda didn't like the idea of constantly seeing my notifications, etc. Made me want to check my phone more often than not. Background app refresh I typically keep on, but in short yes I've messed with the settings
Good question! For me, honestly it really came down to size. I would have loved the telephoto lens and better battery, but the Pro Max is just a bit too big of a phone for me, so I went for the Pro. Hoping in the future they offer more Pro Max features on the Pro as well
@@Ash-ko8ex Unfortunately not as good but anything up to 3x has still been solid. Beyond that you'll start to see some quality loss and a bit of grain depending on lighting. My general consensus is if you want to take photos from a longer range, go with the Pro Max, but for me that was less of a priority so the Pro was fine
@@Ash-ko8exI had both before settling with the 15 Pro. The Pro Max’s 2x-4.9x looked terrible and was digitally zoomed compared to the regular Pro’s 2x-4.9x bc of the focal lengths. I prefer that zoom range than anything 5x and beyond. The PM’s battery was a beast and lasted me a day and a half under heavy usage. The regular 15 Pro gets me through the day with 6-8 hours of on screen time with heavy use, but I would have to charge it if I was going out at night.
Focus breathing compensation in your camera is needed 😅 In some parts of the video it's very distracting Sony has this feature in the kind of new models
just a tip for the video quality of your camera. I can see that you have autofocus turned on but its really anoying to look at as a viewers perspective if its constantly focussing.
It seems to me i phone is the best phone except the battery section although android phones like Samsung gives hard fight to I phone in many departments but in terms of video quality and UI definitely i phone would be better
I typically charge it when it's convenient throughout the day, but for a full day in the life video where people are probably curious about how long the battery life lasts on a single charge, I didn't want to alter that result
@@rillotv ok. If you don’t let it go down like that the battery health will be great. Also don’t put it on a charge and sleep. My iPhone’s battery health is still 100%
Long form Rillo out in full force! Great music, great editing, great pacing. Loved it! Good job dude :)
Thanks Casey 😌🤝

New Studio has me hyped for more content!!
You and me both haha
Loved this video and excited for long form :)

86 as of today
Have you tried the max as well? Did you prefer the „smaller“ form factor?
