    UPDATE: Shout out to the giveaway winner Voiltaire Vizcarra! Voltaire ended up having an iPhone 14 Pro and wanted me to sell the iPhone and donate that money directly to the Durham Rescue Mission. That's HUGE. Not many people would do that, even I would probably have taken it and sold it for the money so HUGE shout out to Voltaire. If you live in the Raleigh/Durham Area and want to buy a less than 6 weeks used iPhone 15 Pro, hit me up! I should have done this a while ago but something that's crazy is that this was sitting in my closet for like 4 months, AND IT STILL HAD BATTERY. So in terms of having battery when the phone isn't being used, it got it...

      Should we buy 15 pro or pro max? Does it overheat when charging? Does the back glass break when it falls down?

    • @wr2899
      @wr2899 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bhawanigurung9913 pro or pro max is personal preference on size of device. I have not noticed it heating much when charging, these phones are pretty good for regulating the charging rate when they detect too much heat so don’t worry about it. There was overheating concerns but the iOS update fixed it for most people. I have not felt this phone get hot.
      Glass is glass and the back glass seems easier to break than the last generation however shouldn’t be a concern if you have a case. If it does break, they have made it easier (and cheaper) to fix. I am using a Spigen case I have used them for years and would recommend them, I haven’t had any drops that damaged the phone in these cases thanks to the air cushioning, and they look good too.

    I upgraded to the 15 pro from the XS max, the 120hz refresh rate (for me) is night and day difference and feels like a warm knife through butter, smooth as hell! I am also a photographer and although phone cameras aren't as good as a DSLR (it is getting scary close though) if I don't feel like carrying around my camera - the 15 pro's camera is INCREDIBLE. This phone is expensive but as you've mentioned if you have a use case for it - what a gem of tech this thing is. I told myself I wouldn't upgrade iPhone until they changed the lightning port to usb-c and boy what a treat it is, I am very happy with my upgrade!

    Just upgraded from my 11 to 15pro. IOS feels so familiar yet when i go back to 11, the choppiness is noticeable. For those upgrading, i highly recommend doing a fresh install instead of migrating data from your old phone.

    • @ArmorsArrows
      @ArmorsArrows ปีที่แล้ว

      Why do you recommend doing a fresh install instead of migrating? I pulled everything for my iCloud when I got my 15 Pro a few days ago. I could delete everything and then install it if you think that’s necessary.

    • @mal7916
      @mal7916 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@ArmorsArrows What I meant by migrating was using the migration assistant to copy the data from the old phone, essentially mirroring it down to a single file from the old phone. The issue with this approach, at least from my perspective, is that it transfers all the accumulated unnecessary data from the old phone to the new device, potentially impacting its performance.
      On the other hand, starting fresh and downloading data from iCloud separately (Ie Photos, Notes etc) , rather than as a phone backup, is more advantageous. This method allows you to retrieve only the necessary files, avoiding the transfer of unnecessary junk files from the old phone. I believe this is what you've done.

    As someone with a 512gb 13promax, buying a 1600$ 1tb 15 pro max. It’s completely over rated for anyone not into content creation. Not going to shoot log, ProRes, or 48mp Raws. Okay. You hold on to your 13 Pro Max. That’s great. It has the best battery life on any iPhone. It’s weird to say an iPhone 15 Pro is overrated if you’re not a content creator. There’s more to any iPhone than content creation alone. You also are contradicting yourself by saying double the storage is no different, and after that saying a 2TB iPhone would be different if it eventually releases. Look, I’m not here to insult or discredit your comment. I think your point can be made by fewer words: you are willing to buy a new iPhone if it comes available with a 2TB option. This is likely to happen, we’re talking Apple of course. Maybe with next year’s iPhone 17, who knows. Cheers.

    I’ve become a bit obsessed with swapping phones. I’ve had pixel 8 pro, 15 pro/pro max, S24 ultra xiaomi 14 and more. The one phone I missed when I didn’t have it was the 15 pro/pro max. At this point all phones feel the same so it comes to preference and what works best for you and for me it’s the iPhone 15 pro. After that I’d say the pixel 8 pro is the best android has to offer.

Prior to them boys I had a Galaxy S5, Xperia Z1, Xperia SL, Curve 9220, Curve 8520, Samsung Galaxy Y, TechCom T-Vision Pro and a Sony J100i!
    The 15 Pro is S tier all day everyday. Do use a case and tempered glass!

    I recently switched from Samsung to iphone 15 pro. Here's my opinion after 3 months.
    Samsung has more gimmicks that you would use once or twice in a year. Meanwhile, apple has less gimmicks, but its features are extremely useful. For instance, the black bar is just so useful and Siri and Bixby has been pretty useful especially in my line of work.
    Next, the battery is quite normal since I use my phone quite heavily during my work.
    Furthermore, Apple does feel smoother than Samsung.
    I cant say anything for camera yet since I am still struggling with how apple's camera work, which leads to my next point. Plus, I really appreciate the advance mode offered by Samsung.
    Lastly, apple is way complex to use over Samsung.

    What you're looking for in an "s tier" phone here imo is the Samsung A55. It has good enough performance to be smooth, great display, great battery, decent cameras, great software, and great price. For me, I don't see a reason I would want to upgrade from it until Samsung stops supporting it, then maybe I'll try an S series Samsung or even an iPhone. But until then (4-5 years) I am 100% satisfied. Although "S tier" can be very subjective, for some people, the A55 is lacking in power, for other the bezels at too big, for you it might be the cameras, it really depends on priorities, and it meets mine. Hope you can cover that phone.

    I think any design talk about a phone should not matter because I am still putting a case on it. It's not only because I want to protect my phone, but because I don't want to be denied by my phone company when I trade in credit is lowered because of a crack on it. I upgraded to the 15 pro with a trade in credit from an iphone 11. And I only did the trade in because I got $830 from AT&T when the iphone 11 was purchased for $500.
    If the trade in was not there, I would have continued to use my iphone 11 until I used it to the ground. Overall, I am happy of the trade in and having my first pro series iphone.

    • @supremevalue1
      @supremevalue1  ปีที่แล้ว

      Ohh yea thats a good point. Yea trade ins are a game changer and I was gonna mention it but since technically they lock you into a contract in their network so I didn't know exactly if you would be saving money, but yea trade in is awesome. But also not everyone has trade in deals which is why I left it out. But yea keeping that case to protect it is a good point.

    I bought a 15 Pro 3 days ago, coming from +10 years of Android. Honestly, i'm not that impressed with iOS / iPhone, I don't feel it's a "clear difference" from the S23 / Android. I've enjoyed the Camera, FaceID, connectivity and (most) apps startup time. But there are stuff like the Control Center and Settings that I feel Android does it better. Probably Apple will copy that (as Android copies most Apple features).
    People say "after a while you can't go back to Android" but idk. I can't say I prefer it over a S23.
    Also about the ecosystem: I don't use smartwatches (I feel it's a waste of money, just pull the phone from the pocket: 1 second) and I don't like the AirPods Pro (I don't like in-ear headphones). I do have a MBP tho

Way more enjoyable experience after a few weeks im used to it, faster prettier iMessage smarter easier access to passwords. Reminders and notes being synced so well to my computer is also fantastic. I refuse to use AirPods though have my Sonys
