  • We got to surprise Colin with a brand new Headunit for his 2005 Subaru STI. We still have more to do with the aftermarket stereo he has in the car, but these radios are completely plug & play for a factory sound system!
Huge thank you to Ali aka "TheKingTuner" for tuning the truck. Hopefully this helps with the fuel economy & helps the terrible factory transmission shift points. The 6.0L LS is such a pig on fuel.

I wouldnt say best, but im an audio snob. these idoing units have lots of issues and good luck getting them warrantied. for 400$ id rather spend my money on something with a company that stands behind their product and publishes the relevant specs for DIY audio.

Hey man! I have a 2004 wrx blobeye usdm and my climate controls don't look like that. Mines look more like the white bugeye wagon you installed the bigger idoing unit with the cupholder slide thingy under the vent haha. Does the display on this slim version pop out of the faceplate idoing has prepackaged so i could pop that baby on the OEM faceplate without trimming it 😆.
Ive seen some pictures of people installing this prepackaged head unit and their "analog" climate controls like mine, are recessed pretty bad with that faceplate.

Hey are looking to swap out the old steering wheel to an updated one that u can control volume on the steering wheel that connects to the headunit?Which that would be sweet if you would have a video on that!

    Hey wassup Daniel?
The iDoing is a sweet unit BUT 🙃 it isn't the best. The best Android based HU right now is the T'Eyes. The UI is much faster, the screen is larger and the chipset is higher quality and has more options. Of course it's also more expensive. In fact I like the T'Eyes so much I'm installing one in my Element and my Spec V which already has the Seicane Android unit I just bought which I really don't like.

I’ll have to check those out 👀 I’ve had nothing but good experiences with the Idoing unit’s so far!

Hey man I'm a big fan of all your content and your subie that thing is sick!! I'm having some issues with my 2013 subaru wrx and I've looked high and low for any guidance from forums and elsewhere but I'm having some overboosting issues and my wgdc stays at 0% no matter what boost level I am at. I have a cobb 3 port on a stock vf52 and I am mid tune. I know the 3 port is plumbed correctly per Cobbs instructions and have tested the 3 port verifying it is opening and closing. I've also connected a single hose from the compressor nipple to the wastegate nipple and still hit 13psi of boost at about 4800rpm. I even put my oem boost controller back on last night and still 0% wgdc. I am just stumped cuz I put regulated air to the wastegate actuator and it seems to not wanna open at 8-10psi but does fully open closer to 20psi so the only thing I can think of is my wastegate arm is jammed or is too stiff to open up...if you have any advice I would greatly appreciate it I just dk what else to do I went ahead and ordered a new wastegate just in case but idk..

Are you on the stock turbo & wastegate? Sounds to me like the wastegate is either stuck closed or adjusted too tight & not opening until it has 20psi of boost to force it open. Have you messed with the wastegate actuator arm adjustment at all?
