Ultraboosts are generally very light sneakers, many reviewers tend to emphasise them as being heavy. If you compare them to actually heavy sneakers like the air force 1’s or boots/ shoes..Ultraboosts are like feather. They are only on the heavy side when comparing to running shoes. The fact that the Ultraboosts 23’s have boosts tech which is 30% lighter, it puts it back in line of being one of the lightest on the market. Comfort wise and durability wise for running sneakers, nothing out there beats the Ultraboosts in my opinion. I’ve been wearing Ultraboosts since they first came out, the only reason why I own other sneakers is to broaden my styling to wear with my clothes
It fits a little snug versus the Ultraboost 22, and because of that, it is less ventilated for my size 8.5 I prefer last year's Primeknit. It was soft and comfortable and still had a perfect lockdown.
I just got this pair in the other early release colorway and even though it’s not the best long distance running shoes, it is significantly way lighter than previous iterations. The price is quite steep considering what you’re getting but if you don’t own a ‘21 or ‘22, you’ll find this worth it. Comfort-wise, it’s even better due to the reduced weight and I went true to size.
@@evilutionvj UB Light is amazing but for casual-wear, I think it’s wiser to wait a couple months to get it in a discounted price. But if you don’t mind the price, go for it! Best if you go to a store and try one to see for yourself, I’m definitely loving mine rn hahahaha

I’ve recently discovered the Solarglide line. Half the price (outlet mall pickups), pretty, and works well for running. Might even be better for running than UBs, which are a bit more lifestyle depending on the model and wear level.
I actually remove that mid lace part of the shoes and keep it plain, the comfy levels goes to the roth!! Truly recommend, gotta be easy and slow when removing it but works flawlessly 🤩

Big runner, and I've been in the Adidas Solarglides (ran in the 3rd, 4th, and 5th) for a handful of years now. For an everyday, easy-run running shoe, its pretty solid. I was always weary of how thick boost wast, although most running sneakers are heading in that direction now (the new asics gel nimbus is a sight to behold). Would def try this shoe, once i burn through my current solarglides.

The original Ultra Boost lines (1.0 through 4.0) are just perfect. You can’t improve on that level of perfection. Most comfortable and best looking running shoe of all time.
I bought the ultraboost light, and honestly didn't expect much from it, but boy oh boy was I mistaken. Light Boost is genuinely bouncy, noticeably more bouncy than nike react or cushlon foams and unlike them the light boost has not creased a single bit. The LEP plate doesn't really do much in my opinion but I have seen many reviewers say there is not enough foam for mid foot to forefoot strikers, while it's true while ur striking fore foot, striking mid foot there is plenty for long runs.
Any ideas if this is good for wide footers with flat feet? Is the insole glued in? Can I insert my own or an custom orthotic? Would love for you to cover these questions in future reviews. Thanks.
Adidas knows that most buyers will buy ultraboost at a discounted prices few months after the launching of the new ultraboost. That is why they will overpriced the shoe .The discounted price is probably near their actual retail price. Always buy ultraboost later .
It looks like you have a ton of foam under the heel but the sad part is that ur not sitting on all of it, a bunch of it is on the side walle providing "support". So you really only have about 30mm of foam under the heel, same as the pegasus 39, so the ultraboost isn't even a max cushioned shoe.
I got this adidas ultraboost light a couple weeks ago and I realized how , compared to the Nike invincible 3, it was not that soft and was really hard and the stack height was way lower. So I like this adidas shoe I lot but my problem is that it doesn’t offer enough stack height foam for the price (280AUD, idk how much that is in America but it’s expensive) I think for that price it should have more stack height, especially the forefoot. But other than that, it was very comfortable and versatile and I love the prime knit
The top part that hugs the top of your foot makes it look less stylish than the old models that have a tongue that almost matches the pull tab on back of the shoe.
i switched from Ultraboost 21 to Hoka Tecton X and immediately switched back to Ultraboost light. the comfort and bounce is the way to go. but sprinting fast on these shoes is really not possible. i really want to try the vaporfly 2 but my competition is near and i just want a safe bet given my horrible feel on carbon plate shoe from hoka.

I like that Adidas continues to tweak Boost to make it perform better. I'll eventually pick up an Ultraboost Light when they go on sale (they always do). That said, the weight of the Ultraboosts never bothered me, probably because I've come to expect that Boost-based shoes tend to be on the heavier side. One good side effect of Adidas releasing the UB Light is that the UB 22s can be had for a substantial discount. 😁
If ur heavy into running marathons this ain't it. But for lifestyle , casual to a gym goer and doing 5k on a daily basics or taking a walk to the park it does the job well enough. The boost has been a lifestyle shoe quite a while now. On an off days it's a solid pair to give ur feet some rest.

These UB23 only have a stack height: 22mm heel and 12mm in the toe. This whole "Light Boost" is BS. From initial leaks the outside is a carrier foam of Lightstrike (which is just TPU) and the inside is Boost, but less of it. So really the reduction in weight is actually attributed to less Boost and not some sort of actual new Boost material. This is shrinkflation, but in the sneaker market!
I got the Ultra Boost 20's in two pairs, there my everyday shoes and there still as comfortable as the day i bought them.
Ultraboost is like fine wine. It gets better every year
LOL Just got a pair of ultaboost 19 .... still waiting for my adidas refund going on a month and a half now not impressed with their customer service it's been the longest I've ever had to wait for a refund
Disagree about the DNAs. They are better for me then the originals. Better heel and ankle fit.
I love UBs. And I like these!
Just grabbed all black for $95
You meant to say ultraboost light not 23 ?
Best to blindfold yourself and see if it’s it is compared to the other
The best comfortable and most convenient shoe to run not that often of running and getting a little bit of collusion.
just picked one upp for 100 canadian bucks, not bad at all
I tried these but I’m my opinion I think the Nike invincible 3 are the best out rn
New balance super comp trainers are by far the softest shoe I have tried, 47mm heel stack of fuel cell foam, softer than any zoom x shoe I have tried.
I get a ultraboost everybyear.. it’s comfortable but I’m over the upper design..this better the last year of it

Yoooo i got the ub20s super comfy
Would be great if you did a video of recommending comfortable shoes based on different price points. 50$,100$,150$ etc. Cheers 🥂
$180 for the best shoes, never-seen-before boosts, best looking shoes. But that was years ago. what am i paying $195 for now ?
Seth get a pair of new balance super comp trainers, the first ones, version 2 hasn't released yet and compare them to the nike invincible run 3, it's way softer! Fuel cell foam smashes zoom x
Adidas always has 40%-50% sales and ultraboost becomes a steal at that point. On top you can use adidas points to get extra 15-30% off
$110 for these a steal?
The first pure boost was the most comfortable
