Personally I find the ultraboost quite firm and dead compared to the invincible and it feels like it dose not have enough cushion especially in the forefoot if I wanted somthing more stable I would get the nimbus or triumph 20
If you want good soft recovery shoes that feel unstable foe regular walking then get the nikes. If you want a great all around then get the ultraboost light.
I've been using my triple white UB Light for a week now for my 6-hour field work which requires me to stand up the whole time. I like the firmness and the way it holds unto my feet. But in terms of comfort, my UB DNA 1.0 is still better.
Great review! I disagree with the tongue comments made closer to the end. The ultraboost DNA 5.0 and other models have that fluffy tongue, and it almost digs into the top of my foot. I know many others with the same issue and it makes them unbearable to wear. I also own a pair of 4dfwd 2 and it has this tongue that is showcased on these UB light versions, and there is no issue at all when it comes to pressure on the top of the foot. I hope they keep moving in this direction with tongue comfort as opposed to the original UB.
Please compare these to the saucony triumph 20. Their midsole looks identical to the new light boost midsole but I’m really curious about how they feel compared to each other!
I have a pair of the X9000L4 with the Jet Boost and I prefer it to the Ultraboost 20's that I have. I find them to be more comfortable and more responsive.
Any ideas if this is good for wide footers with flat feet? Is the insole glued in? Can I insert my own or an custom orthotic? Would love for you to cover these questions in future reviews. Thanks.
I feel the lifestyle UltraBoost is the old UltraBoost that’s why they’re still rereleasing them and these new ones are for the runners. Just like how the new Jordans are for the court (and even tho both the retros from adidas and Jordan brand still work great for performance they’re more for casual now)
Do you find these a lot more snug and tighter fitting than 22. Don’t know if it’s new prineknit or your foot being pushed forward with ankle padding but not as much room in toe box
Another version of the boost pellets that was great was the jet boost in the zx22. I have a few pairs of them and I really wish they would keep making them 😔
In terms of fit, with the single piece design of the shoe across the walls and upper, is the shoe meant to wrap around your foot snuggly like a sock (yet still feeling comfortable), or is there supposed to be wiggle room and spacing between your feet and the sides/upper of the shoe?
Thank you for this video. Just got a pair now. It feels good on the feet and I don't feel tired and my feet don't feel sore from walking and standing. Very comfortable. I have to try the asics gel nimbus 25 and Nike invincible 3
Always appreciate your video reviews. I’ve been a long time subscriber and wanted to ask you if you’re familiar with the Adidas Atric23 silhouette? I don’t know who or where to turn to find out if they would be a good water shoe? I want to purchase them for vacation is so….
Hi I think you should try them out on the road or treadmill a couple more times, and try to feel the cushion feeling of the ultraboost light. I wear ultraboost 22 to the gym 5-6 times a week, and run outdoor approximately 25-30km a week, I can confidently tell you that the ultraboost light is NO where as cushioning as the ultraboost 22 and ultraboost DNA. Yes, it is more responsive, it is lighter, and that's the direction the ultraboost line has gone to, where run performance is heavily emphasized, while comfort for daily casual wear is compromised. In other words, they're undoubtedly a better pair of shoes for running, but its firmer ride with less cushioning makes it less comfortable than the ultraboost 22 and DNA for daily wear. Hence, I strongly disagree that the light boost is more comfortable or bouncier than the previous boost.
I couldn’t agree more yes they are great for running and the legs don’t feel as tired but as you say in terms of cushion and conform for daily use the previous 22 Model was way better. Don’t forget most of these reviewers are well in the manufacturers !!
@@kickisonfire5593 Yea precisely. It really doesn't feel cushioning at all when I'm walking, and the firm, snappiness felt on every step can be pretty annoying too, but no doubt that's what makes it a great pair of running shoes. I still love the DNA and 22 for day-to-day wear.
Man, THANK YOU. Good thing I didn't buy this yet. Any recommendations for comfortable for regular, non runner, daily use from adidas? Like for long walk and standing? I'm thinking alphaboost v1 or ultraboost dna 5.0 (this one is on discount right now 😂). Also, I never had a max cushion shoes before, so my knowledge is extremely limited for this kind of shoes.
They need to have that upper part on the old 1.0 midsole which is thinner. They would be cool. Hate this bulky look everyone is doing. Nike invincible mid sole massive so it ultraboost. Sucks.
I love the idea about the Life Style, since i don't run on them. I love them next to nike's epic react shoes. their second because their heavier and tight on me, I wear size 12. I'm looking forward on this one. Love the vid as always...
I have felt my Ultraboost Light to have a very hot upper. The Ultraboost 22 had a more confort & soft, breathable, and less snug in my size 8.5 . Maybe with more use , the knit will stretch more and will become more comfortable and ventilated. But for now, my white Ultraboost Light it is fighting toe to toe with my dark blue navy Gel-Kayano 29 to win the less breathable running shoe I got this year. Waiting to receive my Gel-Nimbus 25 ... I have heard it is not the coolest running shoe for summertime either ... I miss my old white Pegasus 36 ... was as breathable as using sandals. That shoe and with that color was perfect for hot and high humidity days.
I like the DNA line aesthetically but I feel like the 21/22/Lights are better for all foot shapes and strides than the DNAs and I wish they’d made a lifestyle version of them instead of the DNA being the only lifestyle Ultraboost
This is a great shoe, but the price drop on Adidas shoes is really disappointing. Wait for a year and this will be retailing for $90 or something. I was really disappointed seeing people buy the same shoe I bought just a year ago at 50% discount.
The design is a bit ugly - I don't understand how did they allow those vertical and horizontal lines on boost. Those asymmetric elements on the back don't look nice. And the side silhouette is worse: 21 and 22 looked streamlined sweeping, while 23 are shorter and more clunky. Don't want to buy them even for $50. Same with invincible 3 btw - got looking worse than originals. So I'm keeping UB 21 Tokyo and Invincible 1 black/gold.
Adidas has been always been overpricing Ultraboost but I feel that there is a reason. People don't realise that most people would buy this shoe at a discounted price 6 months after the launching of the new ultraboost. Definitely an Adidas gimmicks to trick buyers to buy this shoe at a " bargain" price but actually the discount price is probably near the actual retail price. . Don't get me wrong, ultraboost is still a good shoe but the way Adidas trying to market ultraboost is rather deceiving.
bu zaten zenginle fakirin ayırt edilmesi için. bi ayakkabı çıktığı gibi alan insanlar genelde fiyatına bile bakmaz ama senin benim gibi insanlar 6 ay geç sahip olur.
I bought these specifically for jogging, they are super comfortable running shoes. You won’t be disappointed if you’re curious whether or not these are good for jogging in.
@@jordanperez4540 I have had the chance to try them both recently. I think Asics Nimbus 25 is a little bit more springy and more cushioned (very comfortable). But I might get Asics Novablast 3 after trying Nike Invincible 3. Because Novablast are the most springy shoes that are not carbon plated so far.
Thanks for watching! If interested, buy adidas Ultraboost Light here bit.ly/3LlfQnd
Love the reviews and your channel. Keep up the great work.
Too used to them being marked down

Yup. Your comment is over a year old, but you can get these for $50 now with the current sale.

46 dollars for me.....
need a comparison of this and invincible run 3s!
Exactly
Yup. I’m a casual runner and I’m debating between these 2. I like the softer primknit and the stability. So I’m leaning towards the ultraboost light.
Personally I find the ultraboost quite firm and dead compared to the invincible and it feels like it dose not have enough cushion especially in the forefoot if I wanted somthing more stable I would get the nimbus or triumph 20
I think Ultraboost lose to Invincible Runs, a model to compare with Nike IR would be the Adidas EQT 93/17 imho.
If you want good soft recovery shoes that feel unstable foe regular walking then get the nikes. If you want a great all around then get the ultraboost light.

But in terms of comfort, my UB DNA 1.0 is still better.
The light is the worst. It feels like a normal shoe. Not like ultraboost at all.
That’s a fact I’m wearing a pair of ub lights right now and it’s isn’t as soft as UB 1

I agree 5.0 has a really uncomfortable tongue
How about sizing? Some say the upper is more snug than the previous version. Some even say going full size up on these.
I got the same size as the Ultraboost 22. And it's the same size (for me) as the any other Ultraboost I got.
@@martmeister Thanks!
100 percent agree about them having a separate lifestyle and a running version of the ultraboost!
Can you make compare to the 4d video?
I’m size 11 but my feet is i really wide, what size should I get?
Nice review! I can’t wait for the comparison between those and the ultraboost 22’s.
So are these the Ultraboost 23 or is that different?
Is this suitable for daily runs?
I’m hoping these are a TINY bit wider than the 22s. I like the 22s but they rub the side of my foot a little too much and it’s uncomfortable.
I just noticed that my Ultraboost Light boost material chips off in small chunks!
can you use these to walk around in?
Please compare these to the saucony triumph 20. Their midsole looks identical to the new light boost midsole but I’m really curious about how they feel compared to each other!

Is it recommended for narrow feet?
I wear a size 9.5 on ultraboost 5.0. What size do you recommend for this one?
Are these more comfortable than the Nimbus 25?
Not at all
1:22 - can you please share the link for this deep dive comparison because I couldn't find it?
Is it softer than the regular version?
Price please

I'm size 11 in Nike, Li-Ning hoop shoes. Should i get size 11 too?
the continental rubber design reminds me of Novablast 3, it creates a trampoline effect in my Novablast 3.
No lumpy boost no sale, i buy boost because it handles wet and cold well which is 80% of running days I don't like it when they mess with formula
i got a ultraboost 21, love them but too heavy. then i moved to hoka tecton x and hated it. now i am not sure should i go light boost or vaporfly 2.
Just bought the Nimbus 25 and OMG! It has to be the mist comfortable shoes ever. It easily bests the ultraboots
nimbus 25s are amazing
I couldn't stand how your toes felt like they never made contact with the ground.

half size up at least@@dreamhack1978

Best advice for Adidas on this video.... make this a lifestyle shoe or two options.
I just bought m and. They do hurt my ankles soo much that i cant wear them,so if you have a big ankle balls you might try it before buying 😁
