I’m a nurse and I was trying to find the best shoes for my job as I’m always on my feet. I had doubts for any running shoes as my feet are pretty picky. I got the NB Rebel V4s and right as I put them on they felt incredible. Super soft and the shape and tech makes it feel like my strides and steps are efficient and effortless. Highly recommend this for guys with wide and flat feet cause these so comfortable.
I have tried just about every shoe for work.I'm a lab assistant and my Merrells Antora 3 have been the most comfortable. I have them in waterproof and regular. The regular are more confortable.tho
Seth, I watched your video this morning and then went out and tried on your top ranked, most comfortable running shoe, the New Balance Fuel Cell Rebel V4. After getting the New Balance out of the box, I walked around in the store for about 1 min. and then told the salesman to just put my old shoes in the box because I was wearing the New Balance out the door!!! These have to be the most comfortable running shoes I've ever had. After wearing this shoe all day I can say that I totally agree with your opinion of EVERYTHING you said about the shoe, including the extreme light weight, the insanely soft sole, as well as the fact that the upper is sort of stiff compared to the other top shoes, but you don't really even notice that when you are wearing the shoe. I would highly recommend that if anyone is wanted a new running shoe to give the New Balance Fuel Cell Rebel V4 a try. Also, just for comparison, earlier this week I bought the Asics Nimbus 16. However, I wasn't really in love with them and after buying the New Balance today I am definitely taking the Asics back as the New Balance is FAR more comfortable. I know that is my opinion, but I really just wanted to give Seth credit because I feel his ranking is spot on. Thanks for the ranking and the recommendation!
Have tried all of these shoes on, and without a doubt, the 1080 v13 is the most comfortable. Rebel is all good, but the upper is geared towards running, not comfort. Also, I only prefer wider toe boxes while running, and running only. Much prefer the v13, for that feeling of a sock on top of a sock, on top of damn cloud.
I put in 15,000-25,000 steps per 8hr shift and the New Balance 1080v13 has been outstanding for me. Only been wearing them for about a month now but they're nice and cushioned while still providing adequate support. 👍
I just tried the cloud monster 1 and 2 and preferred the 1 due to the rocker thing you mentioned, and also the 1 is actually seemingly wider feeling even though both are generally wide compared to others. That wider feel is better for my flat feet. Lol I just wish there was more than a $10 difference between the old and new versions. BUT the 1 is such high quality that its still worth its price imo.
Found the cloudmonsters to be narrow. So much that I had to return them, they were causing a lot of irritation on the outside of my toe. Very overrated pair of trainers
I’m an ultraboost fan til I die. Great comfort and support combo. The ultraboost XPLR BOOST is my favorite of the lineup. Good looking, more support than others without sacrificing comfort. Plus I got them for $45 on adidas during a sale!
The regular knit ultra boosts are the best shoes. I actually cut off the cages because they serve no purpose. They’re the best shoes for going to the gym/going for a walk or whatever.
The last pair of New Balance I bought had holes worn in the uppers of both shoes at the big toe within a year. I’ve had the Saucony Freedom 4 for 3 years and they’ve been great but they’ve lost some of their cushion so I’m looking to replace them.
I tried 8 of the 10 shoes today and you're top 3 are right on, just in my opinion not in that order. I thought the Invincible 3's and the New Balance 1080's were almost identical. The New balance might have a slight edge on cushion but the New balance fuel cell I didn't think have enough front cushion. Still debating between the Invincible 3s and the 1080 but right now nike has a few of the Invincible 3s on sale for 122 I believe.
For someone who will stand for a long period of time in boot camp, what do you recommend? Is the new balance the best for that. It gotta be so.ething that won't throw your balance off if you need to stay still.
Pre ultraboost 1.0 was a pureboost - and that is where this sole was released originally. All newer ultraboost are no longer that comfortable, so anyone who plans to buy it, try to find pureboost addidas as that will have this same exact sole described in the 3:27 time
For the gym and training: I purchased the HOKA Kawana 2s. They are fantastic training shoes, with great comfort, are cushioned perfectly, and are an overall great buy.
If you're lifting weights in the gym you're far better off with flat, hard sole shoes like Converse. Cushioning is great for running but terrible for lifting.
@@Shvabicu Not lifting and I understand the concept of flat wear for weight lifting. I am just training with a personal trainer for my left knee problems and right shoulder problems, plus building skeletal muscle mass and lowering % body fat.
For me, Ultraboosts would not be on my most comfortable list. I wore them to Japan and my feet were in so much pain and they were numb. Same with Yeezy 350. Boost is overrated for me. They seem comfortable when trying on and walking around for a little bit, but my feet will start to hurt. I’ve worn Invincible Run 1 to London and walked a lot, and my feet were fine. I was walking around San Francisco with the Yeezy 350 and my feet were killing me.. So I changed to the Invincible Run the next day and my feet were fine. Invincible Runs are my go to for all day walking and standing. I do own NB SC Trainers 1 & 2, but have not had the change to walk all day. I am hoping for a good outcome when I do. I just ordered the Rebel V4. I hope they don’t disappoint either.
Asics gel nimbus 26 has the very big con. I've return 3 pairs for tearing the fabric above the your nails. Fabric is weak. But that is most comfortable sneaker ever.
So odd, my take is that the opposite, I bought the Rebel v4 & 1080 v3.. to me after a day in both the 1080 is way more plush, comfortable than the Rebel. The 1080's have a better evenly stack from heal to toe, the rebels are just cushiony on heals and mid sole. The upper is more Ultraboost like on the 1080, when I tightned the Rebel, there was something digging into my upper toes just where the laces begin from the inside.
I couldn't agree more! I tried a pair of invincible 3's on 6 weeks ago when I didnt need another pair of shoes, so I didn't buy them. However I thought about how comfortable they were for a couple weeks and went back and bought them. I'm 6'4" 240lb and have some foot pain. These things are SO comfortable, by far the most comfortable throw on and go shoes I've ever had. Well worth it!
I've been wearing the new balance 1080 V13's for work for the last 3 months now and it's a great shoe. Very comfortable and they have great slip resistance too. Just an all round great shoe
What is the color of the Ultraboosts that you are showing in this video? I cannot decide on adidas website by looking at the images, but i like these in your video. Is it 'Grey Three/Grey Five/Core Black' or ''Grey One/Grey Three/Grey One'? Thanks
I agree with you 100%. Every year I'm so excited when warm days are back (I live in Sweden) so I can wear my ultraboost 1.0 again. I also own pairs of Hoka Clifton 9, Nike Invicible 2 and NB 990V6 but I always enjoy wearing my UB 1.0 much more. The combination of boost and primeknit is just so comfy, offers great support and stability. Unmatched imo.
same... i'm a sneakers collector and big fan of Jordan and Nike (have around 90 pairs) but the mosty comfy to me are Ultraboost 1.0 and Ultraboost 20 by far.
I like running in soft shoes, but don't really like walking on them. They tend to be unstable in the heel, and the rocker at the front of running shoes is awkward when walking.
Have you tried the Ultraboost 5.0 DNA? I got those and they are my most comfortable shoes to date, I wear them only to special occasions because I love them so much. They look just like the 1.0 now that I compare them, not sure if there's a difference.
Nike vomero 17 would have been a good add for the list, super comforable with a combination of ZoomX and Cushlon 3.0. I would probably take that over all on the list except the Adidas UltraBoost 1.0, Shoes like the 1080V, Infinity Run, Gell Nimbus don't look at good for Casual wear, regardless of how comfortable.
I've been wearing adidas for years so far the Yeezys and Adidas running shoes have been the most comfortable. Looking to get back into Nikes what do u recommend something that will look good with a Nike tech suit

The cloud monster 2 may not be the plushest and most cushiony shoe on the list but for me the responsiveness makes it a perfect shoe to get comfort and performance
if you have a wide foot, at least for me, the nimbus 26 (in wide) was by far the most comfortable of all these. the nimbus 26 had the best cushioning and the upper was insanely comfortable too with the neoprene tongue. the new balance 1080s (wide) were a close second to the nimbus 26, and the on cloud monster 2(not available in wide so i had to go a half size up) and the hoka clifton 9 (wide) were tied for third. Go try them all on because they will fit each person differently and comfort is subjective. brooks glycerin 21 (wide) was also very comfortable but still a little narrow for me and my foot isn't even super wide.
I wish I had a reason to buy all these shoes and try them. I ended up getting one that wasn't on this list, the asics superblast. Amazing comfort while running. Love them!
I want Invincible 3 with an upper in full flyknit, no plastic c***p. Do you think it is possible? One of my favorite things about the Ultraboost is its upper, so soft and breathable. But I want to get the Nike Invincible too.
I bought asics superblasts and they are amazing....only hard part is finding them. If you review superblast vs nimbus 26, superblast wins hands down. Can't believe they didn't make the list.
After viewing this video, I ordered a pair of the Asics Gel Nimbus 26 with the Amazon try before you buy program. I work in a very large and spacious hospital so I do a whole lot of walking and constantly on my feet. After the shoes came I tried them on to break them in before going to work the next day. NO PAIN IN MY FEET DURING MY 8 HOUR WORK DAY WHATSOEVER!! Thank you Seth for your review on all the sneakers. I paid for the Asics the very moment I got home from work. I recommend the Asics to anyone who are on their feet all day long.😎😍🤩
Hey @michaellloyd4413 late reply but how are the soles on those kicks brotha? I work as a groundsman at a country club and work the greens every morning. I need comfortable shoes with little sole imprint but keep good grip. My Nikes ain’t cuttin it
Hi Seth I been watching your vids for a cpl years now and I just love ur content as I've found your reviews very useful and entertaining. CAN YOU KINDLY TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET THOSE JOGGER PANTS W THE TRIANGLE YOU WORE IN THIS VIDEO?? THANKS GOD BLESS🙏
Reebok made a really comfortable shoe with circles at the bottom maybe 15 years ago. It felt like walking on a cloud as they would act like shocks, but they were ugly :)
The Nike ZoomX Invincible 2 was softer and more comfortable than the 3. I find the sole of the Nikes wear out faster than some of my other shoes. I definitely can't put as many miles on them as some of my other shoes.
If you think the Rebel is soft, try to get your hands on a pair of the original New Balance FuelCell SuperComp before they’re all gone. One of the first ‘super trainers’. Took things to the extreme with a crazy 47mm stack height (illegal for pros during races), carbon plate, big rocker… extreme but all work together really well for a plush ride 👍
@@neizuzuyes it does have a carbon plate 👍 Most running shoes with a carbon plate are designed for race day and as a result aren’t very durable. The NB I’ve mentioned is actually designed as more of a training shoe as the carbon plate helps return energy to help pop your foot back up with little effort (verses racing shoes that snap your foot forward). It’s also much heavier and durable so if someone wanted they could wear it just to walk around. Many of the shoes in the list fall into the same category of a training running shoe.
I dont know... I bought corc melow slides wich everyone says is super comfy and it is but it hurts my feet to stand in for more than a hour so Im not sure I need cussion
Bought the 1080 v13. So comfortable. 🤤 Much more than the Invincible 3. Just the Nimbus 26 is a must have for diferent reasons. Almost as good in confort, but more stable. For the first one, I went 100% into confort.
medical field worker like me always appreciate a shoe that five comfortable because the nature of work is mostly on our feet. i would say i tried all brands. and finally found the one, its the Nike Live React, it just fills all the gap and support my feet all day, I'm thinking the shoes were made just for me, everytime there is available online i order it right away because this shoes is hard to find.
I own this shoe. IMHO sole felt like it was made from cheap material, way too soft and did not retained its shape after 50 miles. Got me a glycerin 21 w/c is way better in same aspects.
I’m a 6’ ,fit 70 year old male . I was an Olympic and World contender in the martial arts. I have had many feet, ankle, shoulders injuries and surgeries. Both shoulder fully replaced . Full transparency I stopped running after having both of my anterior hip replacements. In my personal experiences the Bondi 8 has been my overall favorite sneaker . Without a doubt specially since I wear a size14 the sneaker is wide and funny looking. I travel yearly a lot and typically on my feet .I always take two pairs to alternate in travel . Originally my past sneakers were the Beast 18 from Brooks . They were my second choice. Unfortunately Brooks new Beast 20 felt like a very inexpensive sneaker .
I’ll never get most of these shoes as they felt weird when I tried them. Either by the heel (feels loose or unsecured) or the rocking motion feel throws me off. Adidas Ultraboost 1 all day for me.
Ultraboost is goated . Went on vaca doing 15k+ steps with 990v4 and my feet were screaming. Wore ultraboost before on vaca and my feet were tired but never in pain.
11:10 shoe has a middle-of-the-road price at $160 13:39 shoe is priced “really competitively” at $165. more expensive than middle of the road is competitive? LMAO
The Nike Invincible Runs are great...till they disintegrate after 3-4 months of use...the Nimbus are the best for my feet and for price/comfort/durability....
Tried a lot of the shoes on the list but the best one is the New Balance fuelcell SuperComp trainer v2. The most comfortable and soft shoe. I have an injury on the heel and I don't feel the pain walking after wearing a this
Puffy shoes might feel comfortable but they are terrible for casual running. There have been several studies that show that wearing them for mild jogging will increase your chances of getting injured. You can thank Hoka for that.
The invincibles are comfy, I just got them but will be returning due to how they become narrow near the center of my foot. I’m not a fan of that design personally. Makes it feel like it’s squeezing my foot

Wich one for heel balance? Valgus heel. Overpronation
What are the best running shoes for hardground
I bought asics superblasts and they are amazing....only hard part is finding them. If you review superblast vs nimbus 26, superblast wins hands down. Can't believe they didn't make the list.
I just tried on the Rebel v 4 and the 1080 v13 at the same time…for me 1080 all the way…#1 1080 #2 Invincible 3 #3 Gel-Nimbus 26 are my top 3 ✌🏻
I recommend the Asics to anyone who are on their feet all day long.😎😍🤩
everyone in the hosipital uses onclouds did you try?
Hey @michaellloyd4413 late reply but how are the soles on those kicks brotha? I work as a groundsman at a country club and work the greens every morning. I need comfortable shoes with little sole imprint but keep good grip. My Nikes ain’t cuttin it
Are they available in Colombia?
The new balance rebel v4 is the shoe of the year imo new balance is taking over
Hi Seth I been watching your vids for a cpl years now and I just love ur content as I've found your reviews very useful and entertaining.
CAN YOU KINDLY TELL ME WHERE I CAN GET THOSE JOGGER PANTS W THE TRIANGLE YOU WORE IN THIS VIDEO??
THANKS GOD BLESS🙏
Can you explain what ISO weave technology is?
Opinion on the ascics nimbus 25?
Please do a top 10 stability sneakers?
Still love the ultra boost. Would love to try them all but that's not happening hahaha great video
Agree. The New Balance fuelcell supercomp trainer v2 is the most comfortable shoe. Better than the Rebel
Your NB has a carbon fiber plate. But the guy is testing shoes without such a plate.
@@neizuzu you don't feel the carbon fiber plate. The NB shoe is more comfortable. Tried and tested
I dont know... I bought corc melow slides wich everyone says is super comfy and it is but it hurts my feet to stand in for more than a hour so Im not sure I need cussion
I'm so confused between 1080 v13 and rebel v4 😢
1080 for your left foot and the rebel for the right.
Bought the 1080 v13. So comfortable. 🤤 Much more than the Invincible 3.
Just the Nimbus 26 is a must have for diferent reasons. Almost as good in confort, but more stable. For the first one, I went 100% into confort.
@@MisterRhulwhat color way you get?
@@Half_Full-Since96 White.
@@MisterRhul yeah they’ll go with everything. Nice pick.
Would be good to know measurements for heel to drop toe!
medical field worker like me always appreciate a shoe that five comfortable because the nature of work is mostly on our feet. i would say i tried all brands. and finally found the one, its the Nike Live React, it just fills all the gap and support my feet all day, I'm thinking the shoes were made just for me, everytime there is available online i order it right away because this shoes is hard to find.
I love my ultra boost plus they come in larger sizes. Most shoes stop at 12. Ultra goes up to like 15
OMG.... those NB Rebel 4 are so dope, and the colorway... "chef's kiss"
I have the HOKAs and they’re amazing!
I’ll never get most of these shoes as they felt weird when I tried them. Either by the heel (feels loose or unsecured) or the rocking motion feel throws me off. Adidas Ultraboost 1 all day for me.
Hello. Long time fan. Have you ever looked into where sneakers are made? Would you ever consider including this type of information in your videos?
what's socks brand name?
Ultraboost is goated . Went on vaca doing 15k+ steps with 990v4 and my feet were screaming. Wore ultraboost before on vaca and my feet were tired but never in pain.
Seth, which pair is the lightest sneakers? Asking for my mom. She needs a new pair for her morning exercise. Thanks
My daughter wants size 38 for athletic practices.. please help.
I have those Salomon in green color they feel amazing 👍🏾
Seth's annual list of Running Shoes for lazy people
How's it for lazy people?
@@ClearSmoke100for real😅
That's hes kicks entire channel
Just like people who wear Jordan's that don't ball in them. Same idea.
Lazy people yea whatever doesn’t make sence ???
11:10 shoe has a middle-of-the-road price at $160
13:39 shoe is priced “really competitively” at $165.
more expensive than middle of the road is competitive?
I have an injury on the heel and I don't feel the pain walking after wearing a this
Your NB SuperComp Trainer has a carbon fiber plate. But this guy is testing shoes without such a plate.
I just got the brooks glycerin 21 - it is my go-to all day wear shoe. Super cushy.
The cushion flattened out so much within a month for me
Why do most shoes have the ugly bubble type heals. It looks like a cartoon shoe and the heal get caught up on tight stairs or on rocky trails
Puffy shoes might feel comfortable but they are terrible for casual running. There have been several studies that show that wearing them for mild jogging will increase your chances of getting injured. You can thank Hoka for that.
Great recommendation on new balance fuel cell just got them incredible shoe 🔥
About the NB FC Rebel 4, the one you showed its the one for the ladies, yes?
The invincibles are comfy, I just got them but will be returning due to how they become narrow near the center of my foot. I’m not a fan of that design personally. Makes it feel like it’s squeezing my foot
People always use the analogy of "like walking on clouds," but when have you ever actually walked on clouds?
Trail shoes generally don’t have a lot of cushion. You’re already running on trails. It needs to be firmer under foot.
Timestamps 😩😩😩😩
Ultraboost retail price: 190. Half year later: 70
I wanted to get back into running but these prices are krazy. I need shoe, some shorts or sweats.
The Hokas at size 13+ are ridiculously huge!
Adidas Alphaboost V1 are the most comfortable to me!!
