It's pretty much the same thing as touching yourself. If you want to play with the paddles, fine but don't think you are actually improving your lap times or "helping" the car. No one can shift a PDK-equipped vehicle better with the paddles than the PDK will shift for itself. Especially on a track. Puttering around on the street, fine but if you're looking for the quickest way around the track, just keep both hands on the steering wheel and leave the paddles alone! 🙂 Oh, yeah, nice to see Chris Harris. Hey James and Thomas. Great review again. Question, have you ever thought about mounting and 360 cam so where close to the ceiling of the vehicle as you guys jump in the car and do individual rides or interior review portion?
I love the Cayman, and I absolutely adore the GT4 (and the RS) and I always say that due to the mid engined layout of the Cayman Is dynamically better………. But I still want a 911, even if the 911 is inherently flawed with the engine hanging out the arse.

@@CAR_NL yeah Distinctive was the word I was looking for, there are cars that I think have better and more dramatic sounds but there's just something about this Cayman sound, I think its more unique
Is "there is no substitute" still their slogan. Since early 80s, that's a long time. It's not even used in advertising, it's just known. Can still hear Tom Cruise at 17 saying this as they get ready to pull out of the garage in a gorgeous 928 unknowingly borrowed from a vacationing dad. Beautiful v8 engine sound, then stall. Music stops. Restart and all is good again. One of my favorite movie scenes ever. Thank you Porsche!
I really am looking forward to seeing the response to the C8 Corvette Z06. More power and High revving V8. And a track day special you can drive daily. It's posed to really make a explosion probably bigger than the Stingray did
In terms of interior sound, yes. Exhaust sound? No, not in my opinion. It is up there with other stock exhausts but a Novitec exhaust on any V12 Ferrari is godly.
@@kristians2704 bro, they still sound better, no one is denying how glorious that flat 6 N/A 4.0L engine sounds but there are alot of cars that sound better.

What a beautiful sound in a perfect car. I just couldn't do without a manual in something so engaging and experience-driven. I get the PDK of course because it's a laptime monster, but where I live, all the damn racetracks are closing, which means I'd need to take it elsewhere to drive it to its potential as opposed to be stuck with 2 gears (or 1 with the regular manual GT4...). Sometimes I wish a smaller lighter 2.0L H6 (half scaled 4.0L GT4RS) existed in a lighter car to be able to wring it out on the streets in legality, maybe go through 3 full gears with that in-cabin orchestra. lol

It's still their slogan.
It's a shame that 99.9 percent of us will never be able to afford one of those beautiful cars, can only enjoy car through TH-cam. 😭
Fuck that I will buy one
@@amielterencebuy me one too brother
Hahaha speak for yourself 😂
I saw one today at BMW of Pembroke Pines in Florida USA, took some pics and admired such a beautiful creation.
Wow, someone took the Andy Wilman cinematography course to heart and has pulled it off brilliantly, well done gents!! It suits, wear it!
Classy coverage. I recognized Chris Harris from the get go, fun inclusion in the video.
I really am looking forward to seeing the response to the C8 Corvette Z06. More power and High revving V8. And a track day special you can drive daily. It's posed to really make a explosion probably bigger than the Stingray did
Sadly GM has recently killed the Z06 (yes the C8 Z06)...
@@machoenicke2778 lies
@@machoenicke2778 no they didn’t lol you saw the April fools joke
this review made me clap at my desk several times I dont think you understand the work youve done here. thanks for this review. car is amazing.
am I crazy to say that this is the best sounding car made since the LFA?
In terms of interior sound, yes. Exhaust sound? No, not in my opinion. It is up there with other stock exhausts but a Novitec exhaust on any V12 Ferrari is godly.
This sounds glorious but not better than an F12 or an SVJ with F1 exhausts.
@@prestonkelly9156 I’m talking about stock cars
SVJ, F12, 812, Carrera GT, 458 speciale......the list goes on
@@kristians2704 bro, they still sound better, no one is denying how glorious that flat 6 N/A 4.0L engine sounds but there are alot of cars that sound better.
This channel is unrivaled and still getting better with each and every video
Great crossover guys!
To me this is what the 911 should have been. What an awesome machine!
I get it but this is no where near the gt2rs
Good God, that engine sound is straight ASMR. Well done, Porsche, and well done TH!
This sounds like a symphony in my brain of automotive-gasms to my ear... I'm interest when they review the C8 Z06 to compare the price, performance, and sound.
Guys, you just keep raising your game. Just superb and my absolute fave car youtubers nowadays. Having Chris on was the cherry on the top!
Sometimes I wish a smaller lighter 2.0L H6 (half scaled 4.0L GT4RS) existed in a lighter car to be able to wring it out on the streets in legality, maybe go through 3 full gears with that in-cabin orchestra. lol
Wow amazing job guys. These edits are truly epic as well
Funny how the mr2 spyder looks so similar to porsches 😅
Mid engine, rwd, light weight, naturally aspirated. It’s like the baby brother 🥹
@@KingOfEden12 and way cheaper. I've been looking for one. Waiting to sell my scion XD to buy one.
@@felixcortes5005 I mean MR2‘s are neat little cars but obviously they're way cheaper. they're not even in the same universe of performance as even a base Boxster, let alone a GT4 or RS
@@1240Dax true but with the right mods it could beat a cayman for less. Then again a used cayman is about 20k so
@@felixcortes5005 It could, yeah, but like you said, Boxsters aren't all that expensive and you can mod the hell out of them, they‘re super popular in Autocross.
The cinematography in these productions is amazing.
Being of age and how to manage the sequence of returns in those early periods is what seems quite scary in the current market. The market is never a loser in the twenty year cycle, but the 2000s decade scenario scares me and could really disrupt my retirement. When you're no longer accumulating but withdrawing, it's hard to be anything but cautious.
For now, investors getting started can feel overwhelming. Risk loom large and complicated, unfamiliar financial jargons can be intimidating.
@The Anh NgocThis is absolutely where online professional brokers can come in handy... Those that offer intuitive platforms and plenty of educational resources, and also guide you through your early investing days.
A good broker is much more than venue to execute trades. Look for a broker that can assist you with quality research and educational materials, to aid your development as an investor and also help you make winning decisions in the market.
@Julia sobolevaOoh yes, I trade with PEGGY SUE WILSON. She is well known for what she does. You can contact her through message

Awsome to see Chris Harris in your video!! Thanks for another awsome video
They made it sound like this just before the beginning of EVs so our transition will be much tougher 😢
I really enjoy y’all’s banter and the honesty about the car shortage issue. Everyone else reviewing cars is pretending that it’s not happening.
