I stopped watching TG cause of the constant "challenges". I'd rather just see them flog the latest supercar around a track and compare them to the next flogged supercar.

You guys have the coolest and most fun car channel on TH-cam! The only thing that is missing for me is showing car cabins more from the driver viewpoint. This gives me as the person watching more of an impression of what it actually feels and looks like to be driving that car.

Jokes aside I personally think the Performante is overall the more sensible choice, unless you really need all the race stuff the STO has. I personally would buy a Huracan Evo RWD though because of the best front Lamborghini ever designed and nice RWD action, it's also the cheapest new Lamborghini on sale. That being said, I like that the STO is basically the small brother of the SVJ
It’s not an evolution of the Evo or Perf. It’s a separate version which is fully built for track use. A Performante is a mix between that and a regular Huracan. How you need to see it: Huracan (Evo): street supercar Huracan Perf: track focused street supercar Huracan STO: full track focused.

That said, it’s very hard to find the critical point at which engineering and art meet. The McLaren Senna is a great example of this. An extremely capable car but I wouldn’t call it “beautiful” in the traditional sense of the word. Aggressive? Absolutely.

Calling the Huracan the best supercar is highly debatable with cars like the 992 GT3, F8 Tributo, 720S, AMG GT-R or DBS around. The Supercar segment is highly competitive and I'm not sure if the Huracan, as a base trim, can compare to the competition from Ferrari or McLaren as it's main competitors and Porsche in the track department, although both Porsche and Lamborghini constantly exchange track records with each other

The tech is very awkward to me actually, have you ever been in a Huracan? I have and it feels very, very dated. I've been in a base 992 Carrera too and it feels decades ahead in terms of tech. Can't judge the McLaren but the F8 is quite sophisticated too. Another awkward point of yours is AWD. That's not really a plus for a performance car that operates on an emotional level, because RWD gives a car character, that also why the Huracan Evo RWD and STO both are arguably the best Lamborghinis to drive currently, because both are RWD. Same goes btw for the F8, 720S and GT3. That also why I name the cheaper GT3 instead of the Turbo S. The Turbo S is just like the normal Huracan AWD, which takes a bit of the character out of it. I genuinely think for 180K there's no better car to get currently than the 992 GT3, it's reliable, naturally aspirated, has decent tech, is daily drivable and comfortable, looks nice, has a prestigious heritage, usable on the track and will be desirable for years to come, like every GT3 911. What would my second place be? The Huracan Evo RWD, it looks better than the normal Huracan, is cheaper and more exciting. The McLaren has the best performance but catches fire, the Ferrari is super expensive, although it's based on the 488 Pista so it definitely has the performance to back its price up. What I wanted to say is that the Huracan definitely can't be called the best supercar, because there's so much competition and in case of the GT3 it's just objectively better for less money.

For most car enthusiasts, deciding which is the "best" supercar has at _least_ as much to do with how that mythical creation makes you _feel._ And on that front, far more expert reviewers than you or I consistently have given Huracans since the Perfomante the highest praise. I think that when those same reviewers look back in 20 years, the discussion will be between the Huracan and the 720S, with the GT3 in 3rd place. And if emotional response is the tiebreaker, then either EVO RWD or the STO will likely win in a landslide.
I love car shows, I wake up every Sunday and watch hours of them on TV. I have to say I enjoy these guys 100 times more than any Sunday Morning show on TV. Keep it up guys !
