    Thank you for explaining all this. I was admitted into hospital in Blast Crisis almost exactly a year ago. I had FLA-IDA chemotherapy that was successful after 1 round but got fungal pneumonia and ended up in ICU for 10 days. Eventually allowed home after 7 weeks on masses of prophylactics and TKI . Later a couple of infections that were swiftly dealt with. Today I go in to begin my conditioning treatment (minus RT as I'm an older patient) and begin my road to Stem Cell Transplant. I'm a bit scared but excited too! It's going to be a trip.

    I learned so much from your video. As a 4 yr CML patient, this helps me understand what it is but yet I have not reached MMR. So I still have questions to why? I'll continue my fight and also further research, thank you so much for getting this boulder rolling.

    I love these lectures. He’s helping me understand what my husband died of. The doctors didn’t know and I got a vague dx after his death. It took weeks to get spinal fluid and bone marrow test results. Thanks to the lecturer for this information. As I review all the medical records, his explanations really help me.

      @VernaVermillion 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Mine too- maybe now I'll learn what his doctors who were bound by HIPPA failed to explain at his death. You see, I didn't even realize he was THAT SICK, He told ME the doctors put him on a strict diet because of Obesity. And I was a good little wife, I Believed Him, because I wasn't raised to question.
      So Death freed Me to be What GOD created Me to Be, A STRONG WOMAN. 😊

    My fiancee had a bone marrow biopsy and aspiration done. The flow cytometrey results read. What does this mean?
    Blast Gate (8.6%): 1.4% of CD34+ and/or CD117+ myeloblasts are present. 5.5% of immature B lymphocytes, positive for CD19/CD10 with variable expression of CD20, most consistent with B-hematogones. Monocyte Gate (2.8%): 2.8% of mature monocytes, positive for CD33, CD13, CD11b, CD11c, CD64, and CD14 are identified.
