Great video describing all the scientific breakdown of CML. I was diagnosed with CML in 2019. I have found that benzene exposures can also be a factor in the likelihood of this cancer forming.

I was diagnosed with CML at the age of 19. 27 now. I had around 850 WBC on my CBC when I was first admitted to the hospital. I also lost my hearing due to the amount of WBC. Crazy thing was I was still some how in the Chronic phase. Additionally, my brain was swelling to the point it was touching the cranium, my heart was swelling as well. Of course my spleen was huge. A bunch of other wild symptoms occurred as well. Looking back I should have gone to emergency way earlier.

Just tuned in to your video. Taking my sister for BMBiopsy in the a, M. Doctor seems to think it may be leukemia. She is 74 years old with a really low WBC has been given 2 units of blood last week. Was trying to find the type that normally affects people in that age group. ( Hoping it’s no Cancer, but just trying to prepare myself I guess.

So much thanks for your great teaching❤❤😁 I just had a problem : as you said , after metastasis of cancer cells to the spleen , we'll have a splenomegaly but the blood supply won't change and couses infarction. But we know that cancer cells can do angiogenesis , so new vessels will appear & infarction shouldn't happen. I just confused 🤦🏻♂️
