    As a Nigerian I've watched several Western Journalist interview this man called Paul Kagame and one thing that baffles me is that these journalists usually ask him questions that samples western values as the best point of view, which I think is a wrong way to ask a man who understands that the world cannot be viewed from one lens or perspective in order to get the right view of things. Also, he always try to correct them and let them know that he's not against their view but they should respect other peoples view and what works for them in their own dynamic space. Also this idea of superiority and inferiority of whose values are best to fit and fix this dynamic space called Earth or the world as we may know it, will surely leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth because one size doesn't fit all.....💯%

      So therfore asking the Arabs this questions is pointless because this not just a Islamic thing but also Christianity and Judaism etc are against such behaviour.
      As for the question being asked to the leader is because the so called government now don’t claim to be religious rather democratic or republican

We have issues of famine, poor infrastructure, lack of jobs and water we don't want to be dealing with these issues and be deluded that men can be women and women can be men etc, we know what biology is and we are aware of what is a man or woman and don't want to be convinced otherwise or have kids transitioning in primary school and all this crazy mess going on there,we are OK as we are,backward as we may be, at least our children and women are safe and protected.....

      Then why don’t you renounce your religious beliefs like Christianity which was brought to Africa by Europeans. Africa was never hateful towards people who had different sexual preferences before Christianity and Islam entered Africa. This hatred towards LGBT+ came with Christianity and Islam.

    • @Philosophical_engineer
      @Philosophical_engineer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Sempre F
      That’s actually a false claim. Christianity didn’t give people rights. People gave them selves rights and laws as a benefit and necessity of living in communities/society.
      There are civilisations that are far older than Christianity and had their own laws like ancient Mesopotamia, ancient China, Egypt, Hindus etc
      Each of these civilisations had their own laws and gave their citizens rights.
      And homosexuality existed among these civilisations as well.
      You said, “ I’d love to see what happened to perverts back then pre Christianity”.
      --I don’t know what you mean by perverts.
      Do u mean catholic priests who assault kids, or pastors who assault their congregation or even god who impregnated a 13 year old Mary in the bible?.

    • @Philosophical_engineer
      @Philosophical_engineer 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Sempre F
      You are clearly a bloody clown.😂😂
      If you claim that Jesus was divine and the son of god, then you accept that this god was a pervert and pedophile for impregnating Mary.
      This god/Jesus should follow his own words and be the one to jump in the ocean.
      You claim this god is perfect.
      --you cannot be all knowing and all good at the same time. Because to be all knowing means you must have experienced or learned every good and every evil. Since knowledge is acquired through experience and learning.
      --you can’t be all powerful and all good at the same time because if you are all powerful, it means you are able to do good and also evil.

      @Sipho Thenjwayo You should look up a little on the Nguni history. There is an entire gay subculture of Nguni people in Durban, they even use their own lingua franca, called isiNgqumo to communicate discreetly. The Nguni actually have alot of evidence showing their homosexual roots, there is an ancient word for gay men, iqenge that was used before colonialism. There is a very popular cave painting of Nguni men having intercourse as I am sure you have seen, which also predates colonialism. The Nguni also had a concept of transgenderism, believing that some men were permanently possessed by female spirits. I suggest you look at academic research into the history of your people before you spread more hatred and lies.

      What is Homophobia really? I ask that question because it seems to me that the term Homophobes or Homophobia is being used loosely.
      The word Phobia means an extreme or irrational fear of or aversion to something.
      As a heterosexual male, I don’t agree with homosexuality. That doesn’t mean that I fear it in any way, shape or form. I don’t even spend much time thinking about it truth be told. The only time I even have anything to say about it at all is if it casually comes up in conversations. If anything, I would say that the LGBTQ community is so visceral about their sexuality, they have in fact, openly expressed their disdain for the heterosexual men and women without any reprisals whatsoever. In fact, the LGBTQ community is the only group of people in society in which identity is largely based on sexuality. I know this, because I’ve been around the LGBTQ community.
      I, myself, have been called a “homophobe” because I’ve rejected sexual advances of gay men. That said, is it fair to then say that gays practice heterobpobia, which by the way is not even in the dictionary, which I fine to be interesting 🤔 🧐, because that alone implies a one sided narrative that puts heterosexual people in the hot seat simply because we’re not interested in the LGBTQ sexual prowess.

And the important thing he meant was that we can’t focus on such problem because it will probably destroy us as Africans. Sinners are sinners and God will deal with them. Rwanda can’t afford to deal with it because like he said “ it hasn’t been a problem”, Rwandans live in peace with each other and that’s the most important thing if you want to build a country as well as he is. He doesn’t support it but yet he can’t make it a problem in His country, all he cares about is Rwanda and Rwandans development.
