    I'm American and I think Kagame is one of the best leaders in Africa. Since the Rwanda Genocide, he has done so much to improve his nation. He has achieved so much in such little time. Crime in Rwanda is one of the lowest in Africa, and poverty is also one of the lowest there too. I have mad respect for President Kagame! Good man.

    • @thephoenix756
      @thephoenix756 3 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      That may be the case but the man should have retired a little while back; in light of how disastrous our 'Presidents' have been... we shouldn't have them in Africa anymore.

      @@thephoenix756 if you take him out, would the country continue to progress or not ? We have seen when they take out good leaders in the name of democracy that those countries started going backwards or gradually or barely progressing . I think the country has to get to a place where it could be strong enough to resist outside interferences before they let go of a good leader like the Rwanda president.

      What, that one man is smarter and more competent than millions of Rwandans?
      The reason certain Countries immediately descend into violence and chaos after their despots fall, is simple... the despots centred the entire system of Government around them as individuals instead of creating Sovereignty affirming institutions.

    • @Speedy300

      @@thephoenix756 I never said that and I know their many who are capable as well and you made a great point: strengthening the institutions. I hope that the president end up doing this(create strong institutions) and in turn, could leave power or have a peaceful transition.

    As a Nigerian I've watched several Western Journalist interview this man called Paul Kagame and one thing that baffles me is that these journalists usually ask him questions that samples western values as the best point of view, which I think is a wrong way to ask a man who understands that the world cannot be viewed from one lens or perspective in order to get the right view of things. Also, he always try to correct them and let them know that he's not against their view but they should respect other peoples view and what works for them in their own dynamic space. Also this idea of superiority and inferiority of whose values are best to fit and fix this dynamic space called Earth or the world as we may know it, will surely leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth because one size doesn't fit all. Truly "Democracy is not defined by the West"....💯

      Oh please, what kinda bulls.. Is this? First of all, if democracy isn't defined by the west, why do these African leaders still go to the west to ask for money to help their countries? If they were free individuals, why can't they drive the western out of Africa and devolop their own countries? This is what many Africans like to hear but never questioned if its put into action. So we don't want western democracy when they question us on killing our fellow Africans, or when we want to sit and rule forever!?🤔🤔 Pathetic is all I can say🤦🏽‍♀️. Rwandese problems is only Rwandese who know it better and I am sure Congolese people know it as well. So pls, whoever is applauding here has no idea what's going on.

      KAGAME IS HITLER OF AFRICA.
      More than 10 million dead, 500,000 women raped... and still silence. Until when ? Between April and July 1994, the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), formerly Zaire, was invaded by an influx of Rwandan refugees and since then it has been constantly attacked and looted by troops from Rwanda and Uganda. What is happening in this country where the deaths are now counted in the millions and the rapes in the hundreds of thousands? Charles Onana demonstrates that since 1994 we have been witnessing the masked invasion of the Congo by militias and troops of Paul Kagame, the Rwandan head of state initially supported by the Clinton administration and then by France in Nicholas Sarkozy. Based on exclusive testimonies and documents from the CIA, the archives of the White House, the Elysée and the European Union, the author reveals how the United States trained this man without faith or law, to serve their interests in the DRC, the Central African Republic, Congo-Brazzaville, and other Central African states where the war between the West, China and Russia is fierce for the control of strategic mineral resources. Insatiable predators carve the DRC and plunder its wealth. After 20 years of research, the author alerts the public to the programmed extermination of local populations when several heads of state in the region and a European ambassador have already been assassinated. Charles Onana explains above all how the killing of the DRC is organized by using terror and lies in order to seize essential minerals for the world industry of armaments, mobile telephony and transition energy. An explosive document behind the scenes of the gigantic massacre of human beings which takes place a few hours by plane from our Western countries. Charles ONANA is a doctor in political science, specialist in the Africa of the Great Lakes and armed conflicts. Author of several reference books on this region including Europe crimes and censorship in the Congo (Duboiris), Rwanda: The truth about Operation Turquoise (The Gunner), Investigations into an attack: Rwanda April 6, 1994 (The Gunner), he worked for a long time with the investigator Pierre Péan on Rwanda and the DRC. Charles Millon, Jacques Chirac's Minister of Defense from 1995 to 1997, experienced the invasion of Congo-Zaire at the political outposts and recounts his personal experience in the preface to this book.

Plus, why should anybody sympathise with a criminal like Rusesabagina who did something wrong to his own country. After that our hero, saver Paul kagame and our brothers, sisters joined him and saved us
    .where where u?.probably having coffees and watching tv. So let him be our president and if you don't know kinyarwanda find translater or interview the people in Rwanda 🇷🇼 🤔 🙄. Enough, period. We had our story dont compare us with other countries period

      Who lied to you??? what kind of history did you study?? In 1990 there was war, in 1993 peace agreement was signed forced by the Western after they sanctioned Habyarimana, in 1994 there was genocide. The Western tried to intervene and who stopped them, the man himself PK, read the letter he sent to those who wanted to stop the killings of the tutsi people. Listen to Tito Rutaremara stating how in order to eat an omelette, eggs had to broken. Get your story straight and stop with this nonsense talk, western didn't come to save us. And don't come telling me, well Clinton came and apologised and for that we will go with "the Western didn't help". Those who tried to help, ask the man above what he told them since you love him so so much.

    Rusesabagina’s movie was denounced as fraudulent from the very first moment it appeared. The New York Times is entirely wrong to insinuate otherwise. “When the film ‘Hotel Rwanda’ premiered in Brussels in 2004, we survivors protested [because of Rusesabagina’s lies in it] but no one wanted to listen to us. This film had so much support that even the media to which we gave our testimonies did not dare to publish them.” (Y. Mukagasana, Igihe 17/9/20)
