- The owner of a Fort Worth property where an I-Team investigation found a massive illegal dump sat ignored for years, has more problems coming their way after a judge finds the owner civilly responsible for animal cruelty.
I hope they put him in jail and fine him for the money he stole from taxes and no animal ownership again.
28,000/year in property taxes for 70 acres of empty land? That’s insane!
Apparently it's a dump not empty, it's worth over a million.

I can only see a violation of construction junk. If the vet said those were inconsequential injuries, I don't understand the confiscation of the animals. Someone wants this land

I am an avid animal lover, but I don't think this is a case of animal abuse at all. I think this is the government scrambling to raise their tax revenues. The horses would have died without water and they would be in a lot worse shape if things were as bad as the tax collectors would have you believe. The Vet didn't seem to think the horses were that bad off.
The animals looked pretty good to me, they have access to water and pasture.
