Say what you want about Fred's Fish but it has been a San Antonio staple for decades. You can feed the whole family for very little and it tastes even better when you're hungry. I'm old enough to remember a couple of sea food restaurants on the westside called First Mate off of Zarzamora. Their fish fillets were absolutely delicious!!!😊
growing up on freds frish fry was amazing meal to me ❤....sad theres only a few stores left open ....unlike it was back in the 90s.....definitely recommend it

The SAT place when you eat there they rush you to hurry to eat. That's why I always take it to go cause there no point. I can enjoy my food with our someone rushing the bill or rushing service

The reputation is that their restaurant buildings are old and not up to date. But the kitchen is clean and they pass their inspections.
