I sold my G2 and have been back and forth between which headset to get. I will mainly use it for flying in DCS so im leaning towards to the Pro for the colors and eye tracking DFR. It will be nice to play other games too since on the G2 it was so cumbersome that i didnt bother. The price compared to a quest 3 sucks to pay right now but i would rather have a warranty than buy a used one.
You just said the truth and nothing but the truth Quest pro over link is so much preferable for me However, the bitrate you spoke about in quest 3 may be better at 940 over airlink with virtual desktop not so sure though.. Also have you tried using the quest 3 without the face gasket? And probably a 3rd party halo head strap? im retiring the G2 for the Quest 3 as the better field of view, better tracking and clear lenses makes up for the slight sharpness loss in the center and the windows software sucks ass
