That's why I bought a real machine, $499+ is too expensive for such... crap quality, I've played the 1up cabs before and I'm glad real full size machines are still made, the buttons are my problem, along with the screen. Sometimes they straight up don't work, a table 1up I played before, the buttons felt cheap and didn't work all the time, terrible so I usually played pac-man. And finally the games are higher pitch.

Most of your troubles are down to the rubbish excuse for an encoder, a very slow CPU, and slow emulator, as well as retooled rooms. Doesn't help that the controllers are also rubbish. The programmers of the emulator did a lot of screen frame skips in order to try to reduce some of the audio to video desync issues we saw with the first wave of cabinets. I'm also noticing these laggy input errors on my Pac-Man Deluxe, and Class of 81 deluxe cabinets. Most annoying, when trying to play Pac-Man, or Ms Pac-man. You end up missing turns round corners. The AtGames Legends Ultimate is even worse, theough AtGames refuses to admit it. I have one of those, too. I think you're doing the right thing in modding the cabinet. I'd even bypass the A1up encoder board with a proper ipac controller, or something. Thanks for the video. Hope you got it all sorted.

Congrats on finding the Galaga Deluxe cabinet from Arcade1up! It's been sold out, here, in the states, so I've had to make do with the Class of 81 Deluxe, which has Ms Pac on the left side, and Galaga on the right. No lighted buttons, unfortunately. Still, it's loads of fun, and it was a real cabinet, in the arcades, and eateries, back in the early 2000s. Nearly got the earlier version of it, but was glad I waited a bit, when the Deluxe version rolled out. Thanks for the video! :)

The ultrawide i had last year was 39inch. Its a great monitor (LG) but i wanted the Vsrjo Aero VR headset, so i sold it. Great monitor, and the height was great as it was 39 inch rather than 34inch. If you find one cheap, go for it. LG 39inch ultrawide is a great monitor.

Hello SpeedVR, have you ditched your 49 ultrawide because of VR? I planning on getting one but some people say the height is defficient, what do you think?

May I ask, have you ever been diagnosed with any disorder? I suspect you suffer from something similar to OCB. I used to have this condition ( I guess I still do) which meant I had an almost constant desire to buy things I didn't really need to have ( such as buying an expensive road bike and then buying a 2nd one about 6 months later as a 'spare' ) However, I have never witnissed anyone go through so many purchases as yourself. How many arcade machines is this now ? How many steering wheels, wheelbases, sim rigs, handbrakes, gearsticks, monitors? And every time it's the best you've ever had! How can that possibly be? You must have spent over £100k easily😮

Found out this is not a fanatec special edition. Doh. It's a fanatec rim, but the trim is from another company. Still looks awesome though. Big day tomorrow. Got a very nice toy coming tomorrow. Something I've been after for years. Can you guess what it is? Bboy.

Aamazing how GT7 looks ways better tahn PC sims that need a $2000 GPU to get the best out of them. Even GT7 on a PS4 looks better than any PC sim.

I bought a TP-Link AX3000 AX55 Archer Router, Linked with a Sky modem, I am so impressed with the AX3000, I bought a TP-Link AC2100 modem to replace the Sky black piece of crap modem, I am blown away by AMS2 in VR using the AX3000, I even rang Sky and an Engineer come out telling me to send the TP-Link back coz it isn't going to do anything for your gaming, why do they lie, I spoke to someone in the TP-Link support team, And was directed to how to get the AX3000 to work, I am actually a faster Sim racer now, lol, As soon as I connected the Quest 2 to the TP-Link and damn, Wow, Like I said AMS 2 is another level using the TP-Link AX3000 AX55 Archer Router, Is Fantastic, I am blown away mate, And to think a Sky Engineer was telling me to send it back get my money back, To ring Sky and see if I can get a Wi-Fi-6 modem from Sky, Only available if you got fiber I think, So for the cheek I have got my own Modem, I think the TP-Link modems and Router will always be better than what Sky can provide, I hate to say it, But it feels like people will be charged more having to pay fort a faster package when really all they needs is a better quality router, lol, I never knew that a Router connected to a modem will make your internet so stable, Even my 2.4ghz CCTV camera's look better quality, lol, And loads instantly, No waiting 10-15 seconds like with the Sky modem, Now the TP-Link Router is being used My CCTV cameras loads instant, 2-3 seconds at most, And again looks better in quality, I would tell anyone to get an AX3000 AX55 Archer Router by TP-Link, To connect to a Sky Modem, It has woke my internet line right up, Give my Sim Racing more life, And the lag between the wheel in my hands and the wheel on AMS 2 is again instant, To wear I am faster overall on track now, lol.... I can't wait to get the TP-Link AC2100 Modem tomorrow, To see what the AX3000 router is like when connected to a TP-Link Modem, They are both on offer on Amazon at the moment, In fact the AC2100 modem you can pay over 5 months, I was also told from TP-Link that they isn't making anymore, So what is on Amazon is the last Wi-Fi-6 TP-Link is making or something, TP-Link support staff said something about it, And for me the TP-Link AX3000 has woken up my internet, No more stuttering with a full track of cars on AMS2 in multiplayer, I am amazed, lol....

The higher you can push the resolution, the less jaggies you see. God of war runs great at 4x and ridge racer runs perfect at 6x.

Considering the psp's resolution was 480 x 272 and the rp4 pro's screen resolution is 720p (technically 750p), running psp games at any more than 3x or even 4x the native resolution is pointless (not 7x). . . Unless I'm missing something. Can't wait for mine to arrive, i recently got into these handhelds with a miyoo mini plus and am waiting for the rp4 pro and two rg405v's for my kids. Those rg405v's can be found for sub $60 with a little searching on AliExpress. For a handheld that will run ps2 and GameCube/wii you can't beat that price. At least not that I've come across.

An 8k benchmark will use hardly any cpu. I play vr at native quest 3 resolution which is only 2064 x 2156.

I agree, no PC racing sim matches this graphically. It's not that a good PC can't produce graphics of this quality but I just don't think PC sim developers have the time, manpower and budget to create visuals of GT7's quality in a relatively niche market. And you certainly cannot take Assetto Corsa's old engine and 'mod it' to look anything like these visuals no matter how talented the modder may be. He/she is afterall, is constrained by the gfx engine and for the most part is merely tinkering with some shader settings, textures and suchlike. So forget about a modded sim coming close to GT7 this. You can't make a silk purse out of a sours ear, as they say. All that said, GT7 isn't even a true PS5 game, the game is near identical on PS4 and overall it's only a modest graphical improvement over the PS4's GT Sport.

Loved seeing this as I got rid of my PS5 a year or so ago. But this made me look again. Ridge 2 and Ridge Type 4 are now available to buy without PS Plus, so I've just ordered a Slim PS5 for delivery Thursday. Now we just need Ridge 5.

Can you share a link for the blue spring ? You did the right thing : I did try the damper on throttle, feel great, but it's junk in about 6 months (I did get a free replacement, became trash in 6 months too...) I'm back to the black one, but a bit light indeed.

Hi I got the Prime lite and considering ordering a T818 myself. What sort of bolts did you need? Did you consider to attach the Thrustmaster plate to the plate that comes with the Prime lite? I have seen you have switched to Fanatec. What made you get rid of the T818?

too fix the steam overlay problem when the little steamVR box comes up hit the 3 lines go to settings and under general make sure steamVR always on top is turned off.

Same exact situation. Have a Pro, just ordered the Aero and Valve Base stations and controllers. Play DCS primariily, but MSFS occasionally. Let me know your first impressions coming from the Pro!

Where in the VA Software do you increase the text %? I find the text is blurry against the black and almost all texts are blurry in the desktop view from the hmd. Im also finding the game is also kinda blurry despite messing with all the openxr settings and ingame settings. Its weird but its not pin sharp as people are claiming. Not sure what Im doing wrong. Can you please help?
