I would love to buy it 😢 but I live in Canada
Hey doc, what about Monobenzone? Is it skin whitening ingredient? Because I red that can kill melanocyte?

Can’t wait For Remedy!!!🎉
So glad you have covered this topic. I'm in Ireland and I start to use SPF factor 50 from March until October. I love this channel! Great, relevant advice always given honestly! :)
The BEST videos on skin on TH-cam, hands down. Thank you Doctorly ❤
I’m happy to say that I was following your pyramid long before because of information I got from you two in other videos. You made it easy to put the puzzle together.
You two have the most undeniable chemistry together!
I often wonder what you both are like when the camera is not active. I think you guys always make jokes and then have to try really hard not to burst out laughing. Together you radiate a lot of positive energy. Please keep it up!
Well, looks like you just launched! Huge congratulations!!!
Loved the pictorial representation through the pyramid! Thanks to Dr. Shah and Dr. Maxfield for this amazing video ❤
Thank you so much! 🎉I have waited so long for you to complete this video.
So excited for your product!!! Hoping it will be accessible to Canadians as well. Love you two!
I LOVE THESE DOCTORS! THEIR PASSION MAKES A BORING SUBJECT FUN!! UGH GOOD WORK 🎉❤

Congrats Dr. Shah! 🎉 Excited to try Remedy!
Thanks for this video!
Enjoyed this session, thanks for the download ❤
I just love this Duo they have educated so much during the 2 years that i have been subscribing this channel 😊❤
always so helpful!!! I just realised that I have hyperpigmentation few days ago. I really needed this video! thank you!!! I can't wait for Remedy to launch!!
I'm excited for your dark spot treatment Dr. Shah! Thank you both for this video
I hope you'll consider doing a detailed video covering the in-office procedures you recommend for hyperpigmentation. I'd like to be able to make an informed decision before I go that route, and I can then discuss it with my dermatologist. Do we look for the dermatologist first, or a specific procedure? There are so many options now, and I find it overwhelming!
IPL is the in office laser used for dark spots and hyperpigmentation
YESSS!!! THIS
yes to this. Im doing VI precision peels right now. A series of 3
Yes thissss
I second this-especially for those of us who are 40+ years of age, and have years of sun damage
I love you two as much as I can love two wonderfully helpful strangers that I will never meet!
Thanks for breaking this down. I’ve been looking into what to use for some hyperpigmentation. This video was very helpful!
Missed ur videos. Glad to see u back
Yay!!!! So excited for this new product! Just joined the wait-list!

I have been on a journey to battle hyperpigmentation .. I can tell you that all you are saying is exactly right ... After 2 years of regular use of Renin A , c and the other good stuff, my skin is clear and additionally the use of Microneedling has absolutely made a huge difference to the pigments and pores ..and it took only 2 treatments to see a big result... I just had my 4th ( in a 1.5 year period ) and I am super happy with it all. Thank you for your very clear and entertaining posts, they are super super helpful.
This was the BEST DARK SPOT VIDEO EVER! You included darker skin tones like me! I didn’t know about the alpha Arbutin Hydroquinone connection. I know how to put all my products together now. Thank you!
Yayyy🎉 finally launching Shah's own brand!! I am so very much waiting for this
I hope it will be available in the UK!
Gracias gracias gracias. I deal with hyperpigmentation. So exited for Remedy🎉
The pyramid is a genius idea and I love how smily and goofy u guys are 😊so much fun to watch ur excitement
Can't wait for the new brand and product to be released! 💜

Yes, thank you so much! Just saw my derm and got the scripts, so now I feel I have “the right stuff” in my arsenal 😊 thanks again!!!❤
Excellent video, detailed and with a piramid, good visual! Congrats to Dr.Shah for Remedy. You both are my go-to online dermatologists for advice I trust and follow, thank you
Great video! Very enlightening. I'm African American with hyperpigmentaion. This helps me more than you know. Thanks!
As someone who struggle with acne, dark spots are definitely tougher to get rid of and the worst part afterwards so thank you for this video!
Almond oil.
Azelaic acid helped my mom. She had a very dark spot and it faded by 50%. The spot was chocolate colour for your reference
@@etcwhateverCould you plz share which exact product was used? Ty so much 🙏🏽
@@rraina the ordinary - azelaic acid 10% suspension. She used it every night.
@@rraina btw afterwards she didnt even want to deal with the faded spot and went to a dermatologist and got cryotherapy
Best doctors on TH-cam I already signed up on Skinpedia and hope to get something from the shop soon .thank you so much from a person who started experiencing dark spots I was going crazy especially with my skin tone so dark spots are not pretty ...But you two have made my life complete with your videos
This is possibly the most well organized and well presented video I have seen, so engaging, amazing job 👏🏼🙌🏼
Love your personalities and great advice docs.
Great topic to cover. Thank you! This is the subject of a thesis I'm working on, specifically including the psychosocial aspect!
Wow Astute..good luck!
I am so excited for this new product! I love your’s and Dr. Maxfield’s channel on TH-cam. Thank you❤
Love the new animation used with the explanation
I just want to thank you two gentlemen. My skin has cleared up and I don’t have to spend money on expensive skin products. 😊I been following you guys since 2022.
how??
YESS ! I was looking for a list of ingredients corresponding each step of the hyperpigmentation pathway. Thanks !!
Also because the formulation of a product is everything, thanks for the specific products recommandations ! !
Excited to try Remedy!
Just placed my order 😊I'm so excited.. for this .. can't wait to see my results..
We have to EMBRACE THE POWER OF THE PYRAMID
Dr. Shah loves a diagram haha
No illuminati xD

Copyright is a must Doc!
Black guy here with pecan brown skin: tinted anything with zinc oxide is a non-starter. I've been using sunscreen daily for 12 years and I've only missed about 5 days during this time--each of them I've been indoors the entire day. I have NEVER found a tinted sunscreen that doesn't make me look like a complete freak. I don't care how "invisible" it's supposed to be. Apparently "invisible" is only or lighter skin tones. My skin will reveal that mess with no delay. I use SPF30 or higher with antioxidants, but will never use tinted.
Black guy here with dark chocolate skin, tinted sunscreen is also a non starter!
Bru's the struggle is real. The tinted mineral sunscreen from All Good (sold at Target and online) works. It's very drying so I have to use a moisturizer first. Then I apply a powder.
I don't see the need to block visible light with the tint. Visible red and IR light is good for dark spots. That's why red light therapy is so popular.
Try color science. I also use Cotz mineral tinted combined with haru haru mineral sunscreen to remove the shininess bc the cotz one is too shiny
I have very dark skin and I use UNTINTED because the colors are typically horrible on dark skin. I loved the Equate clear sunscreen...I think it was SPF 50 in a big brown tube.
I also love Mary Kay's daytime defender SPF 30 and the newly released sunscreen too.
I have a relative who loves Black Girl Sunscreen.
We also like clear sunscreen SPF 50 that's formulated for babies. I hope this helps someone.
Wow. This is my first time meeting you guys here and seeing how transparent y'all are, I am here to stay & follow. This makes me want to definitely purchase your products as well. Thank you for sharing this knowledge. Blessings to the two of you ❤
Dr. Shan your skin is glowing😍
You guys' beard cut this time is like TOP. Just awesome, Especially dr. Maxfield's. It's just soo well suited to your face shape. One of the best cut i have seen
I think Dr. Maxfield was on the verge of strangling Dr. Shah in this video. 😂 Thank you, Gentlemen.
It took us an hour and half to shoot this episode with Dr. Shah being obsessive about getting all the diagrams in there haha
@@Doctorly😂
@@Doctorly I wish you spoke british english in one entire video😁 I’d just love that. 😁 save this text dr Shah😂
I think so tooo 😢

Remedy for dark spots sounds great! I’ll be first in line once you get Canadian shipping ;)
This was THE CLEAREST most straight forward and thorough video on melasma etc. I have ever watched. Thank you so much!! And you didn't make it feel hard or hard to treat.
Great video. I appreciate Dr. Maxwell's calm ant patience ways. Haha
Ramadan mubarak Dr Shah ❤
Ramadan mubarak!!!
Thanks for the video, I subscribed immediately after watching! 😊 I’m 52, fair skinned with melasma and have been on oral Tranexamic Acid for 2 weeks - already seeing results! Previously I’d been on hydroquinone 4%, azelaic acid 20%, arbutase 6% and otc Skinceuticals Vit C (and of course tinted sunscreen). My melasma lightened significantly to the extent I was comfortable without foundation 🎉 but after a year of those prescription topicals which were compounded with steroids, my skin was thinning. With oral TA, my skin can now rest a little :) Look forward to trying your new product!
Soooo excited to try your new product!!! Hopeful it will make a difference for stubborn melasma!!😩
This is so complicated … not sure if it’s just me but after hearing so many ingredient and names and options I feel lost, this is probably why I don’t have a routine for dark spots. Hope you can make a simpler one in the future
@ choicetoronto
I'd pick one ingredient from list @ 5:21, look it up on Google, then on TH-cam. Listen to more than one influencer (they all have different styles - for instance MAD ABOUT SKIN has best explanation of Vitamin C *derivatives*)
Good luck
Musely worked for me. It's pricey but it works. It's prescription online
I think it’s just you…
Go to their website! When you click to download the PDF, on the page there's a basic routine you can follow that's simple. There's no extra details on product recommendations, so it a good summary that you can take bullet point by bullet point
@toyinaina6747 No.
So excited for Remedy!!! Pls pls make it available in France 🇫🇷
But France already had the best products ever there are so many of them already, for me there is no better than the French products 😊
@@tatjanasanjic8888 yes i agree with you, but not when it comes to retinoids/retinol… so few…
Korean@@tatjanasanjic8888
This was very helpful, thanks! I was a little disappointed that the Paula's choice toner irritated my skin a bit.
Thank you Dr Shah and Dr Maxfield! Can't wait for the Remedy to be available 😃
Thank you doctors for listening to us. Haven't watched it yet but it's automatic save so I can refer to it over and over again. You have saved me so much money by product recommendations. I used to buy expensive creams and they never worked 😢 Now my skin has never looked better ❤
Sounds amazing that product, please delivery to Canada 🇨🇦
Love the enthusiasm❤
Can’t wait to try REMEDY. Will it be sensitive skin friendly! Congrats on your hard work!!!
I've been wearing a minimum SPF 30 since my early teens, and it is the number one thing that has SAVED my skin as far as aging & dark spots. My Mum & sister didn't listen to my SPF advice, both struggle with hyperpigmentation, extra wrinkles, etc....
Just ordered for dark spots! Can’t wait to see it work!!! ❤
does it work?
Thank you so much for this video! I’m actually happy I’m on the right track and im using some of these products already… so I hope I can see results soon, and have a similar routine I was curious about exactly order of products at night! Love your videos!!! I’m excited for that product Dr. Shah!!
I’m a follower for quite awhile now, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Asian skin is so prone to Melasma, and this information you shared is lige changing. I will search for your website soon to check your products. I look forward to it. ❤
Dr Maxfield said "those of us with dark skin" 🤔if he's dark I'm charcoal 🌚
haha
😂
😂😂
Hi Charcoal, nice to meet you 🤝
😂😂
spent the last 2 days googling things to help my dark spot and this video comes out. thanks!
edit: i posted this comment when this video was a few minutes new and i'm already subscribed to this channel.
Came up because you were looking at this topic.
Googling it promoted it to your feed bro. Welcome to the world of keyboards.
Thank you for this❤

Congratulations 👏 I can't wait to receive my product. I am very excited 🤗
That alpha arbutin tip was like a revelation. It'd have never occurred to me. Most grateful!!
I can’t wait to try your products! I wish more companies would make a lighter color of tinted SPF
I agree. Tinted sunscreens are too dark for my fair skin.
Agreed.
Try Australian Gold tinted mineral sunscreen. Also Elta MD tinted mineral sunscreen which is available in several shaded. I am very fair so have had to try a few before I found one that suits me in addition to not being shiny, which I can't stand. I use matte products when I can find them. There are several others I can't remember offhand but google tinted sunscreen and you'll find several others..
There are videos on TH-cam of people trying tinted sunscreen which leave them looking like Casper. 😂 Maybe try the ones that didn't work for them.
@@smallpackage8360 I don't think so. It ain't the first comment I read about people whom struggle to find very light shade. The struggles is real !
I have dark skin and have struggled with dark spots of all kinds my whole life. I AM just now wanting to make a change to improve their appearance. The dark spots occur all over my body. I went to a dermatologist who told me there was nothing I could do for it. And then just abruptly ended the appointment. 🙄 I knew she was wrong the second she said that. So grateful for your channel!!!! Seriously!
Omg I literally had this happen to me too. I went to a derm for my face hyperpigmentation and he told me he couldn’t do anything for me and that I’ll basically have to learn to comauflage it with a skin therapist help😢
These dermatologists must be British or have a British qualification. “Nothing you can do about it” is a common term these chaps use from what I hear. Useless overrated Brits.
I JUST went to a derm as well and got nothing from it!! I was so mad! Idk if your doctor was melanated but mine wasn’t and it made me feel like people who are not won’t understand people with melanated skin skin issues because some things show up differently for us than others.
@@TheCRYSTALLURE mine wasn’t melanated either🤦🏾♀️
@@TheCRYSTALLURE she was white
I will definitely be looking out for your product line!
Omg can’t wait to try the product!!
Please make a dark spot treatment video for South asian brown skin !!!!! Plzzz love you both ❤❤❤❤
I recommend Dr. Vineeta Rattan for additional skincare for brown skin ☺️
@@abwanydialloI find her too biased and this is really off-putting for me. 😒
Great video as always. Question: when discussing exfoliation you said to leave it on all night and then moisturize after. Should you moisturize immediately after applying the exfoliator, or the morning after?
Omg @Doctorly I can’t wait to try this!!! I Just ordered. I am African-American and have really bad melasma around my upper lip….it’s so embarrassing and a really huge blow to my self esteem. I have tried a couple of the companies out there like Cureology and Musely, but the melasma returns with a vengeance!!!! I am so sad at times about it, and was looking around for reliable treatments and I happened upon your video about the stages of treatment and your new product at a time when I was losing hope. I love your videos and pray this works for my skin!
I just ordered mine! So excited to try and ready for positive results 😆
I remember when I discovered your channel. Many people thought you guys were in a relationship 😂
Anyway, big fan! Thanks for your videos. I use many of your recommendations :)
I’ve been struggling with dark spots on my face since i was 13 years old, im 22 now, and have always been so insecure because of it. so when i say i literally cannot WAIT for Remedy to come out i mean it !!!😭
Love you two guys! Great video!❤️
Hi Doctors. Are you able to recommend some sunscreens that won’t leave a white cast or have a large range of tints?
Seoul ceuticals is a great Korean brand and they have a kojic acid serum with many other great ingredients
Is there a link you could direct us to?
I am also in Korea but I didn’t find Kojic acid serum.. can you please help me
Can’t wait for your line!!! Please make something along the line like tri-Luma for hyperpigmentation. It’s the only thing that my dr prescribed and worked for my acne and the hyperpigmentation all at the same time but it’s cost soo much but money well spent because it cleared my face up so fast and nicely! Just wished it was cheaper or insurance would cover it. Love all the info you guys put out!
I highly HIGHLY recommend Faded Topicals!
I hope it’ll be fragrance free 🤞🏾 ❤
You know it :) I hate fragrance haha
For me :
Am: alpha arbutin, azelaic acid
Pm: Cerave retinol
Pm 2: Mandelic acid
Thanks! I'll definitely download the info and check out Remedy. I've been trying to address those dark spots, and hopefully this will be the key. It's great to have so many resources to explore. While I dive in, I'll keep in mind that treating hyperpigmentation can take time. I'll be sure to post updates on my progress!
Thank you! My face tanned a lot and now I have dark spots! Thank you thank you.
