With oily skin I’ve found if you dry it out without replacing the moisture in your skin it actually produces more oil and then it’s a downward spiral. It’s good to dry out the oils but you gentle face wash and adding a good moisturiser helps control oil production.

I know retinol is magic, but would love a skincare video for time when using retinoids isn't possible (trying to conceive, pregnancy, breast feeding, etc).
Azelaic acid!!! Seriously, I wish I would have tried it sooner! Peach slices, Paula’s Choice, Drunk Elephant I’ve all tried and had results (DE my fav, PS my least fav due to pilling but still good for price). I’ve also heard good things about Dr. Sam Bunting’s 10% AA (UK based, must buy from her website I believe) and Naturium’s 10% Emulsion (on their website as well as Amazon). I've recently started noticing how large my pores are and have been easing myself back into using tretinoin. This video is so timely because I feel like I am missing things in my routine to make sure that my pores are taken care of. I know I can't remove them but I don't want them to be so big that it'll trigger someone's trypophobia or smth. Thank you for the routine!
I'm so glad I found this channel! I've been struggling with blackheads and oily skin. Yesterday, I watched this amazing video, and today, I rushed to the store to grab some retinol and other moisturizer. I’ve also ordered the toner. I had no idea about these other products since my usual routine just includes La Roche-Posay Purifying Toleriane Cleanser, their 2% Salicylic Acid, and Eucerin sunscreen, and I've been using Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Face, which hasn't worked out for me. I'll let you know my results! and thank you for sharing your knowledge about skincare ♥

My husband was on Accutane for cystic acnee at the age of 26 (face and upper back) 43 years ago and after having our last child, and it did clear his acne, but went through important redness and flaky skin. But after a year or so, it made him self-assured and changed his life. So maybe today's Accutane must be (maybe) more gentle in this aggressive procedure 🤔. But for him, it was a life changing procedure. Looking forward to your next video 😊
After about 2 weeks on accutane for adult acne all the stuff in the pores on my nose was just falling out with ease. Since finishing my accutane treatment 7 months ago my skin has become slightly oily again but not to the extreme that it used to. This means my pores have stared to look big again. After exhausting all my options I think a procedure is the next step I need to take to improve my pores. Thanks for the advice, I think I’ll try a facial first.
I am thankful to both of you for your age and skin type inclusive informative videos. Your expertise is accessible to most people all over world some of whom cannot afford to see a dermatologist. I am in my mid 40’s and have always had very oily and sensitive skin. My enlarged pores have been the biggest challenge so am very appreciative of this video! Your channel has taught me so much and I have to say I can see an improvement on my skin which still breaks out now and again. When was I was younger I had acne from early teens to 24yrs! Oh what I would have paid to know what I know now! I now have a 10 year daughter who started breaking out at age 8. She now has a skin care routine with some of the mild products containing Salicylic acid and niacinimide which is helping but has breakouts (almost every week) but doesn’t have as many pimples as she had at age 9. I am mindful of her age and it would be helpful if you do a video focusing on children in particular those who start puberty early.
I'm happy to say i bought all three of the remedy products and they're all great! I'm done looking for products for this type of skincare routine. And best chapstick of all time! I'm done looking for chapstick! ❤

Could you review bronzers/tan drops-what is the best for different skin types/seasons and how to use them appropriately. Thanks!
In my case it was removong lactose from my diet and in general reducing dairy that did wonders. Both my skin and hair do not get as oily as they used to. Plus flattening glucose curve after meals. It took two months to see amazing effects. I can now wash my hair less often, my face skin looks also much much better. And no, I did not have any significant digestive problems that would suggest my lactose intolerance, I went with quitting lactose due to some yt video saying that dairy may worsen sebum overproduction and I just decided to give it a try.
Please make a video for men to not have any inflammation, bumps, and swelled look after shaving. I also have this issue that I see dark patches of mustache and beard on the area even after clean shaving
8:00, the moisturizer for oily skin-I started using that recently. Mine has salicylic acid. It has been hands down the best thing that’s happened to my face! It has completely fixed my acne and hyperpigmentation!! I’ve tried prescription stuff for my face before and they didn’t even work, but the special moisturizer has!
Thank you. This was very helpful. Please do a video on preventing and removing milia too. If I use the wrong prodcuct, like self-tanner, I'll get a few new ones or rough bumpy skin.
Along with the proper skin care try Face Theory’s porebrite serum #10. I’ve never had such success with a product! You just need a few drops . A bottle easily lasts a year +. Took my pores from craters to smaller than normal. I have dry skin … no issues w Porebright.
You guys are AMAZING. Thank you for bringing this channel and for creating that product that is basically tailored to the needs that you so often actually listen to!❤
I use sand and sky skin care and have great results a couple that really make a difference for me is the marshmallow toner and pro youth dark spot serum, the oil control face wash , clay flash perfection face scrub. I have used their face masks and lotions but the above products made the most difference for my 65year old skin. For moisturizer snail mucin is my go to what an amazing product and affordable. I never see reviews on their sand and sky products from influencers I don't know why? Thanks for your informative videos 😎
Thank youu!!! I know I have rosacea and large pores but I tought I have black heads… although everyone said you can’t have rosacea and blackheads… Now I realized they are actually sebaceous filaments 😮 I am using niacinamide already but I will also try the oil cleanse.
Thank you all the amazing info! And thank you for recommending K-beauty brands as well. For those with sensitive, irritated skin, Centella Asiatica is an amazingly soothing ingredient in many K-beauty essences/toners as well!❤❤❤
Accutane has been the best I ever did because I suffer of what your speaking about and my derm gave me that and I changed my skin care and after 8 months and being consistent and patiently waiting it did wonders.
Thank you for the great practical advice for a routine! It's always so helpful to know what are the best products to use! And congratulations on your brand!
Thank you - this was a great review of the topic! Could you do a video where you go more in-depth about the different professional treatments available on the market? I find a lot of them are confusing and it's difficult to compare what is going to be more effective for different skin types and issues...
I use the Neutrogena Stubborn Texture Glycolic Acid + Salicylic Acid every day and it's been the only cleanser that actually has helped with my clogged pores. With added green tea serum and adapalene has been awesome
Salicylic acid never worked for me, always dried me out and made my skin more sensitive. I’ve found that 10% Azelaic acid in combination with adapalene (Differin) has FINALLY given me the skin texture I’ve wanted! Like even after I wash my face it still feels like I have moisturizer on it’s crazy-so smooth and soft! Now my next steps are dealing with the PIH from trying to extract all those blackheads/sebaceous filaments myself 😅
Have you tried Paula's choice BHA toner. It is defintely HG when it comes to those Sebaceous Filaments. The magic is in the low PH, that is why it works.
I've found sulpher really helps alot. I use as a mask for short contact. Followed by niacinamide, azalaic acid and retinol. Not poreless but pretty close😊
the aveeno salicilic acid foam cleanser is amazing. Use it once a day at night with hyaluronic acid, retinol and moisturizer. Love this sp much for my oily skin
So excited to see any video updates for oily skin/pores. I'm really interested in the Remedy for pore size but I'm already using tretinoin 0.05%, will you offer a version of the product that doesn't contain any retinol?
Yey! I was just looking for videos about sebaceous filaments these days. I'll have to give that Cerave cleanser a try. And I an trying to save money on procedures, but last month I tried microneedling and oh boy! For at least a week I looked like I was wearing foundation!
And emu oil. My SIL has horrible eczema and she told me to get Wonder Oil emu oil for an area on one calf that wouldn't heal. It worked when nothing else had.
I've had the opposite experience. I had exceptionally oilly skin when i was younger and as my skin has gotten drier as i get older my pores have shrunk. I have always had those sebaceous filiments on my nose. It is frustrating! Thanks for the video. .
A new subscriber gained here. Thank you for taking your time to share and break this information down to us, It is sad tho that the hair science is way behind skin science and we hope that is fixed soon. 😁

Can you do a segment on comedonal acne, closed comedones, non inflammatory acne!!!! OMGGGG I LOVE the routine handout!!!! Just downloaded it.
Along with the proper skin care try Face Theory’s porebrite serum #10. I’ve never had such success with a product! You just need a few drops . A bottle easily lasts a year +. Took my pores from craters to smaller than normal.
I have dry skin … no issues w Porebright.
I wish I was able to finish the Remedy Pore product test without a reaction 😢 So happy you have your own products now!
Is it your first time using retinol? If so, you can space the use until your skin learns to tolerate the product
I remember when i watched your first video about large pores & this is amazing sharing additional info about it. Thanks😍👏🏻❤️
Thank youu!!! I know I have rosacea and large pores but I tought I have black heads… although everyone said you can’t have rosacea and blackheads… Now I realized they are actually sebaceous filaments 😮
I am using niacinamide already but I will also try the oil cleanse.
You guys have the catchiest intro when you both say, “Here we go!” Very catchy. Also I love the title of your channel: Professional and manly.
I know, right? I always say it with them. Here we go. Here we go!
Please make a video on how to shrink pores for people with dry skin with blackheads and enlarged pores 🙏🏻🙏🏻
I wish Remedy was available to Canada!! ❤
Love your videos !! Thank you so much for providing access to information so easily
Thanks for the great videos! ❤ Could you talk about sebaceous hyperplasia and possible treatments? 🙏
Oh I’m interested too
Remedy really does help with the pores!! I saw a difference in one night!! It really is incredible .. highly recommend 😊❤
One night?! Wow. 😮
@@Sufferingsassafrass maybe my skin was super bad so it made a big difference
@@meercattI’m glad it worked well for you! I have popped one in my cart. 😊
Buying Dr. Shah’s remedy for pore size skin care asap 💕🩵🪩
I've had that peeling sensation with multiple La Roche Posay products, I though it was just the sunscreen but it happens with the moisturizers too.
Bought your pore size serum when it first launched and love it so far ! Thank you 🙏🏽
Pls tell which serum best for big porse
LOVE these videos! I appreciate you both sharing your medical knowledge ❤ people need to here this from doctors, not social media influencers 😂
You guys are amazing. Would love to see you do an evaluation of someone’s skin. “Who?, you say. ME!!!!
I begged for another accutane round but my liver denied me 😫. I’m on the long term 30 year battle 😆. Great video 🙏
I use the Neutrogena Stubborn Texture Glycolic Acid + Salicylic Acid every day and it's been the only cleanser that actually has helped with my clogged pores. With added green tea serum and adapalene has been awesome
Omg can’t wait to use your product line!!
This video is really what i was looking for in these days. Thanks a lot!
I recently both the pore size remedy! I'm excited to start using it. I've never used retinol before though so it'll be slow going at first
Salicylic acid never worked for me, always dried me out and made my skin more sensitive.
What is your routine for azelaic and adapalene?
Do you layer the aza and adapalene? Do you use it every night?
Have you tried Paula's choice BHA toner. It is defintely HG when it comes to those Sebaceous Filaments. The magic is in the low PH, that is why it works.
Probably needed hyaluronic acid serum and cream to go along with it
I've found sulpher really helps alot. I use as a mask for short contact. Followed by niacinamide, azalaic acid and retinol. Not poreless but pretty close😊
Hiiii doctors, can y'all do a skincare routine of your routine??? I think that would be interesting to watch :)
'Strengthen the hug'. There was a certain kind of power in this metaphor that's difficult to articulate.
the aveeno salicilic acid foam cleanser is amazing. Use it once a day at night with hyaluronic acid, retinol and moisturizer. Love this sp much for my oily skin
Dr. Maxfield has so much top energy omg
I can attest to that La Roche moisturizer peeling on my skin & leaving a white film, particularly after using sunscreen.
Are their products out? Sounds amazing!!!
Please do a video about beef tallow which is all over social media. Explain or debunk benefits or lack thereof. Thank you.
And emu oil. My SIL has horrible eczema and she told me to get Wonder Oil emu oil for an area on one calf that wouldn't heal. It worked when nothing else had.
Loveee your content. I’m watching at least one of your videos everyday
Could you do a video on spearmint tea for acne
I've had the opposite experience. I had exceptionally oilly skin when i was younger and as my skin has gotten drier as i get older my pores have shrunk. I have always had those sebaceous filiments on my nose. It is frustrating! Thanks for the video. .
Are these recommendations aimed more at oily and younger skin?
What is best for enlarged pores in mature dry skin? Especially around the noise?
Tretinoin. In other words, Retin-A. I'm 69 and I can tell you that it works.
I love sunscreens that have silica, I always feel like they make my pores look smaller
A new subscriber gained here. Thank you for taking your time to share and break this information down to us, It is sad tho that the hair science is way behind skin science and we hope that is fixed soon. 😁
Please make Remedy available internationally
