Glad to see you back! last week I serviced my xpulse and changed the front brake pads with the apache's one, those pads are pretty cheap than the stock one. And btw any update on tappet noise, do you still running that 0.07 and 0.09 setup or go back to 0.06 and 0.102 ? Any suggestions regarding it will be very helpful because mine did 9k kms on odo and need a tappet adjustable very soon. One more thing i changed my oil from stock one to castrol power 1 ultimate 10w40 and it does a good job, engine runs quiet and cool, but the head is still noisy

Thank you for that warm welcome. Still running 0.07(in) and 0.09(ex), however noise is still there. At this point I neither have the skills nor money to redesign the head entirely.
I thought about switching to FS 10W40 and decided against it as it seemed waste of money and it wouldn't grant any significant change in noise.

Hey what do you think of the new xpulse 4v? Do you think it'd be possible to retrofit the upgrades onto the bs4 model?

I dont have hand on experience with Xpulse 4v but I think its possible to retrofit upgrades. This is what xpulse should have been all along.
