    Just made it now... turned out good. I have made onion chutney. Combination is very tasty. Since I didn't roast rava/suji , I thought it might get sticky. I always trust this channel, he is genuine. Thank you 😊

    I just made it using eno and it turned out perfect.extremely soft and fluffy. So light . Thanks for sharing the easiest method. 🙏

      @@zonefarisha4509 no, he said use eno instead of baking soda. I must try this soon. Also somewhere I heard eno was not too healthy. so I will be using baking soda instead.

    I always make idli for my father. But sometimes it comes out fluffy sometimes they are just tough.. 😪so have given up for few days.. Will start again. Thank you.

    I tried this recipe a while back. The idlis were really very spongy and soft. Best part is that it is very tasty and requires very less time as compared to rice idli. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

    I live in Canada where idli batter will take centuries to rise during winters, so I bought readymade batter from shop 1 day. That also wasn't good at all. It was stiff and hard. Now this will b my go to recipe. Seems like a blessing

      Next time leave it in the oven ,it will ferment.thats what my mom and I do.we do same for dosa.by the way I live In 🇨🇦 as well.

      @@musicbox1435 no just leave it in the oven.don't need to set up temperature. Because we use stove top for cooking right for that reason ovens are always little warm.

    Thank you for this absolutely working recipe. Rawa Idli came out super soft and spongy exactly like the video. I like this plain Rawa idli. I think ENO makes the wonder than baking soda.

    Thank you for the baking soda tip. I had no idea I could use that instead of Eno. I made this a while ago and it turned out great.

      Hi could you plz tell me can i keep curd and suji mixture in fridge without adding baking soda , eno or salt.. just plain curd n suji

      @@tashisharma5194 yes u can do that if u are going to do the recipe in the same day . Don't keep the mixture in the refrigerator for more than a day it will be over soaked and end up being sour in taste.

      U can the night before and made it in the morning ..... No need to be over conscious about it. U can just soak it for half an hour in curd before making idlies

    That looks absolutely delicious. Your preparation of the batter looks good. Down South, we tend to add the following in a kind of tadka to the batter before steaming : chopped green chilli,ginger,coriander leaves, cumin 1/4 t, black pepper 5 nos. This is another variation. Perhaps you could try it. :-)

      Yes same thing happened to me. But I didn’t add eno salt instead added baking soda. Don’t no y it changed colour.
